The staff at the care home have more than exceeded my expectations. I'd had a tough time at a previous home. I was in for the full 3 weeks. I was there & ended up back in hospital. From the first few minutes of been here not 1 staff member has let me down from changing my room to make things easier
to other little things 100% reliable and professional be sad if I have to leave.

I have been very impressed with staff both in caring for dad and other residents. They seem genuinely to care for residents. The care home has a very homely feel. Dad is being well looked after, is settled and content.

My mum is a long term resident and is unable to much for herself. The staff are excellent with keeping and eye on her, making sure she is feed and watered, having regular chats trying to make her laugh. She is always clean etc. My dad has also been here for respite on more than one occasion. The staff
have been great with him, encourage him to try and do more for himself, yet helping him along way, noticing when he wasn't himself and doing what was necessary. The staff are caring and treat everyone with dignity. I'm happy that my parents have been placed here.

The home has had some decorating and updating. Bedrooms need this too. Communal areas are decorated to a good standard. Bed linen needs to be changed more often. However, I have asked for this to be changed this was done quickly on one occasion then never got done on another until I spoke to the manager.
Staff
are very attentive and caring and go above and beyond. They always greet my Mam with a happy smiling face which is very important.

Care staff are brilliant, very helpful and take great care of residents.
Food provided looks good and always fresh. I would like to see more investment from owners to allow for better activities such as day trips out or in house singers.

I came to Loxley Chase straight from hospital as part of my rehab. My previous thoughts of a care home was that they were only for old people and so I was a little bit reluctant. However from my experience here I would have no hesitation about living in a care home if I needed to. The manager and staff
are excellent. They have the balance right between, care, encouragement and dignity which is often hard to achieve. The food is always excellent which is another plus. If you can please let the staff know how much I appreciate their care and kindness. Thank you.

On arrival, to visit my brother, there is always some one on duty to welcome me and show me to my brother. There are always plenty of staff on duty to attend to the guests are comfortable, well dressed and are stimulated by constant changes of themes in the living areas eg easter times, football, events
etc. The caged birds are a lovely diversion as are the constant change of flowers and decorations. The building is well maintained and full of daylight.

Am very pleased with the standard with Loxley. The staff and management are so friendly you really feel like you are part of a big family. Their work so hard none stop. You can get involved with all the entertainment their provided to make enjoyable for all the residents. If I need to speak to the management,
there's no problems with meeting them straight away, and are happy to try and help with anything their can do to make things easier for all.

My mum was admitted to the care home from the hospital late on Christmas Eve, which was a traumatic experience for her, and her family was considerably eased by the care and kindness shown by the staff in the home. Whilst here, the home has undergone a management transition, which has definitely helped.
They are approachable and very willing to discuss mum's needs. The food is outstanding!

Ascot has always been friendly, efficient, etc. Then a new manger arrived perhaps coincidental with new owners and improvements happened. A new manager arrived and standards fell. Now with a new manager change, again improvements and communications with residents, seemingly to continue.
Overall, our
family member is happy as possible and well cared for.

Loxley Chase has improved more than expected in the last year 2025. Staff morale seems to have improved in the last 6 months which makes a pleasant home environment to visit. We visit regularly. All staff greet you with warmth and encouragement. As a family we are quite satisfied with the care received.

My dad has been in Elizabeth House since October 2025. The staff are amazing, the care and attention give to my dad is amazing. My dad has never looked so healthy, happy and cared for, for a long time. The staff are so caring and have support dad and the whole family through an awful situation we have
found ourselves in. Sarah the manager has been outstanding at doing whats best for dad, putting our minds at ease over different concerns we have. A very big thank you to Sarah and all her staff.

My mum has been a resident here for almost 2 years now she's a young resident at 60, the staff here treat mum amazing they look after her well and treat her like their own family which my mum loves!!
When I've been and visited which is only when I can't get home because I live away the staff have
always been helpful and polite always wanting to go above and beyond for my mum even though she can be a right bossy boots nothing is ever too much.
Sarah the manager here is absolutely fab and happy to help whenever I have questions or worries about my mum they understand my anxiety with me living so far away I'm always on the phone.
