Our dad recently went to Alphington Lodge for respite for a couple of weeks. We recently lost our beloved mum and my dad and our family wanted to see how dad would get on in a care environment. Dad in the 2 weeks really adapted well to the environment. The staff have been really kind and caring, dad engaged with the other residents and sits in communal area which pleasantly surprised us as dad is the first to admit he's not the most sociable of people. Dad feels safe and secure and with a recent diagnosis of dementia the 24 hr care gives dad peace of mind and ourselves that dad is being well cared for and is safe which is a huge relief for us. Dad's stay has been extended currently, as a family we feel happier knowing dad is being well cared for. The home is so friendly and a real home from home environment. Dad enjoys the food , interaction with staff and when he wants joins in with any activity that interests him. Thank you everyone for all your kindness and support to dad!

I visited my friends elderly mother with her in Alphington Lodge. What a beautiful care home. The rooms are bright and airy beautifully decorated and very clean. The staff go that extra mile to make sure the residents are happy and well cared for. The meals are nutritious and a good selection of choice,all are catered for. It has such a homely feel its like one big family. No criticisms excellent service given by all

I recently visited mum who has been a resident of St Benets for a number of years now. She was sat in the living room in her usual chair enjoying a cup of tea and a chocolate cake. Mum is pretty much unable to speak these days but the staff, who are always welcoming and helpful, were able to fill me in on mums current condition, mood etc etc. The staff are always very friendly and accommodating whenever I visit and I always come away feeling that they are all taking very good care of mum.

Since my grandma became a resident, she has been treated and cared for very well. On all my visits, the staff have all been very welcoming and you can tell they genuinely care. I'm so pleased my grandma is being cared for in such a great environment and by an even greater team of people. Thank you.

Southlands Home is lovely. Very caring. My experience has been excellent in all aspects. All the staff are amazing with residents. Cannot fault the Home. Totally lovely.

My husband has recently come home from a two-week respite period at Bishopsteignton House. This was a new experience for both of us, but the kindness, care and support we received helped us through some difficult moments and meant so much to us. We are so grateful to Donna, Amy and the team for all their efforts and dedication through this period and in the support given as John transitioned back home and onto a day care plan at Bishopsteignton House

Michelle is an exceptional manager. She is kind, enthusiastic and leads by example.

The home is brilliant which is down to all the staff who are very good at their jobs and always seem happy doing what they do. The chef and her team provide excellent food which I have personally witnessed. The activities provided to the residents are unbelievably good and are shared via their social media page which is good for the families to view. 5 star isn't enough for Wolborough Court, so please bear that in mind it's really 6 star.

My mum had respite here for about 5 weeks as we had a 2 week holiday and my mobility issues on my return, so it was great that they were able to keep mum an extra few weeks. She really enjoyed the food, all her clothes were clean and when we popped in for visits she was up and dressed.the staff are very friendly and extremely helpful and the care home is immaculate, Lisa the manager goes out of her way to help and it really is home from home, will definitely be using again!

Great care and lovely staff. Lots of activities to engage with, and I enjoy seeing updates and photos of my Grandad. Lovely outdoor area and spacious welcoming rooms too. Feels homely and not clinical at all.

I have great reassurance, that my dad is well cared for at Southlands

Mum is coming up to her second anniversary at Southlands. We initially booked a two-week trial visit for her after a poor experience at her previous home, but by day 3 she had decided this was where she wanted to be. The facilities and catering are great and the staff are professional, really friendly and caring. The whole building is clean and well cared for and feels like a kind and nurturing place to live. Mum loves it. She is usually to be found holding court with her friends in the conservatory, usually with much laughter and banter, or quietly painting/drawing in her room. It's been great seeing her getting back into her art which she'd always loved but had lost the spark for before moving to Southlands. She's had a couple of medical issues but the staff are really on the ball and are all over such events. Calming and reassuring for the patient and providing regular updates to the family. Great care and support!

Fantastic staff. Lovely environment. Dad's really happy!!!

I have been coming to Donraile, Newton Abbot, Devon for six weeks now and loving it Everyone is very friendly and nothing is to much trouble. The home is very clean and the food at lunch time is delicious. I can sit outside in the garden with my wheelchair and any time I want a drink someone will bring me one. All the residents are friendly and we have a laugh.

My mum recently went to Bishopsteignton house, we are absolutely thrilled with the home. The kind of care, the staff, the building everything is superb. We could not be more happy!

The environment at The Homestead is inviting and warm. The rooms are light and homely. The staff are all so friendly and helpful, nothing ever seems too much. There's a good choice of activies to join in with and the food is always nice. I'm very happy we chose The Homestead for my mum.

My aunt has been a resident of Alphington Lodge for several years. I have always found the staff very caring and kind. Communication has been good. The home is comfortable and welcoming and I would definitely recommend Alphington Lodge.

Every member of staff at Abbeywood house are wonderful amazing people, and treat everyone here as family. I am always happy knowing my loved one is happy and cared for. Also management here is amazing, very caring and always happy to help. I would highly recommend, if anyone is looking to have to choose a home, you gain a family and peace of mind.

Management always keep the family update on nan and reply to emails if there is a problem.
