My Grandma is so well cared for, the staff are so lovely and treat the residents like a member of their own family. Sonia is very approachable, and a huge asset to the home. She talks to all of the residents every day, and my grandmas face lights up when she sees her. We wouldn't have grandma living anywhere else and it lets us relax as family knowing she is so well cared for.

My mother seems happy here at Beechdale Manor. The staff have management her complex dementia, and associated mood swings. Mum enjoys the food provided, especially the puddings. The staff will contact me with any concerns. All medical care is attended to appropriatly.

Very happy with the staff and service. My mum is well looked after and treated with care and dignity. Although repairs need to made to the leaking ceilings, the care home is alway clean. I wouldn't want my mum to go anywhere and this is due to the staff.

The Staff and care is good. The Care Home is well run which is down to Sonia the Manager who is excellent and is always approachable if there are any problems which are sorted if possible. Sonia cares for all the residents and residents families and is fair with all the staff. If Sonia was replaced or left the Care Home it would deteriorate and we would follow her through the door to wherever she becomes Manager.

My husband has been at Beechdale Manor since January 2026. I visited many care homes some were like 5 star hotels but I never had a gut feeling for them. I visited Beechdale Manor without an appointment and Sonia the Manager invited me into the home to look around and she took time to inform me regarding their home.I saw how the staff were very caring, actively listening to the residents and responding although some of the residents were non responsive. It is very clean and the residents rooms are a good size. My husband is in the latter stages of dementia and as with many residents families you don't want to place them in a home. My husband is on the 1st floor and the staff are absolutely amazing they are so caring, professional take time not just with the residents but also their families which I find very comforting and a great support. I am so happy that my husband is living at Beechdale Manor and I know I couldn't have found a more caring home. A big THANKYOU to you all

Staff are always on hand to help with any difficulties. Sometimes my family member doesn't want to eat what's on the menus and the cooks are brilliant at accommodating my family member and cook something else. The management have always listened to the concerns that I've had over the past year and a half. The staff also help my family member go to the shops if I'm unavailable and also help with their hair. The garden is a lovely addition to the home but does need a little tidying up, as well as the building (it's looking a little tired and outdated). My family member always enjoys the activities too. It's a little annoying to be let out of the building as you don't want to keep the carers from their work. However, I can see why due to keeping the residents safe. Keep up the good work Beechdale!!! :)

Overall I would say this is a lovely home and very pleased we chose this for mum.

My dad initially went into Beechdale manor on respite care, from the minute I contacted them they were really helpful. During his time there every member of staff was caring and supportive and helped his transition into care. When he became bedbound due to his Alzheimer's he was still very much cared for and looked after. As a family we were supported throughout and at the very end of life the staff were amazing and helped dad to have the end of life care that we all wanted. I cannot thank the staff enough for everything they did for dad and for us as a family. It was obviously a very difficult period for us all but knowing he was looked after and cared for as much as possible made a difficult time easier

The home was always very clean & all the staff - including night staff - were helpful, warm, friendly and professional. We had no worries leaving our mum in their care. She was happy during the time she spent there for palliative care and they looked after us all as a family and not just our mum. We would have no hesitation in highly recommending Beechdale Manor to anyone.

This is a wonderful place where the carers treat the residents with kindness, love and dignity. My sister spent three years here until she died on April 19th and she was really looked after - she adored the carers, they were like family to her and to us.

The care that is given is generally very good. Any issues that crop up are dealt with in a timely manner and adjusted to the required needs. Mum is very happy here and safe. Care needs are met over and above what is required and the staff are very friendly, chatty and have a good degree of understanding. If Mum is not feeling well and don't hesitate to take action. Sometimes more staff are needed for residents.

All staff and managers are very helpful and friendly. The facilities and rooms are all very good. I know my wife is in a safe and secure home with around-the-clock care.

My mum is 99 and blind. She is looked after extremely well at Beechdale Manor. We know all of the staff by name and they are kind and caring to us and to our mum. The home is clean and warm and the food is amazing. I can wholeheartedly recommend this home - it's full of love and kindness.

My husband was in Beechdale for 12 months during that time he was happy and contented. The home he was in before was very noisy which didn't suit him. Beechdale was calmer for him. Sadly my husband died on July 21st, just a couple of hours before his 94th Birthday. I can honestly say that knowing he was being looked after so well put me more at ease. I try to help the home by supporting them in their fundraising.

My aunt was tricky to look after since she not only had dementia but she had gone back to her birth language and had forgotten most of her English. Because of a stroke, she also had a speech impediment. However, she was lovingly looked after and kept clean and happy. When she was dying, the home phoned the GP and was told to get an ambulance. Since it was an expected death, they disobeyed and held her hand until she died rather than dying in an ambulance.

Upon viewing a couple of other care homes we all decided this one was the absolute best for my mum with dementia, with a couple of mental health issues the caring team assisted my mum in improving her wellbeing and fear of everything. The staff are amazing and each and every one of them are fabulous. I couldn't have chosen a better care home for my mum. She's been there almost a year now and settled down brilliantly. She loves the staff and they all love her, The acting manager is an absolute gem, that has everybody's needs catered for.

We looked at about 10 care homes before we chose Beechdale Manor Care Home for Mum. We made the decision based on how we thought the staff would care for her. She spent 9 months there before she passed away in March. We are glad that she stayed there. Mum had dementia which progressively got worse. But the care team were always kind, she was always clean and they always kept my brother and me up to date on matters of medical concern. They genuinely cared for her. Sometimes the response to emails and concerns was a bit slow. But they got the main things right and we would recommend Beechdale Manor.

My sister came to Beechdale for palliative care following treatment for brain cancer. From the moment she arrived, the staff took incredible care of her. She loved them. She had a lovely room overlooking the garden and the manager and staff took pains to ensure she was safe, comfortable and relaxed right up to the end. I cannot recommend the manager and her team highly enough. Please be assured your beloved family member will be treated as one of their own. The teamwork is excellent, all the staff are exceptionally warm and caring. When my time comes I intend to book a room there for myself. Thanks to all for making my sister's last few weeks so comfortable.
