The care home is run with every member of staff knowing exactly what they're doing when treating the patients. They care for them; you cannot fault in any way. I have visited my partner every day fr 3 hours at a time, and she tells me everyone is so kind and thoughtful. Of course, it's all down to the
managers (Kate) that the place "Homelea" is run so well. I would have no hesitation about recommending this home. My partner has been in the home since July 2025.

My brother was unsure at first about moving into a care home as he thought he'd be losing his independence. However, after a short while, he is happy with his surroundings, care and realises that he is much safer and we are happier knowing that he has care staff on hand overnight, if they are required.

My sister was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia before xmas last. Short life expectancy. Today she was brighter & more chatty, and engaging than she's been in months. Staff all very happy. Family very happy. Well done.

The treatment my mum has received from the Homelea staff has been extremely caring, respectful and warm. It is lovely to have a new manager at the home who is very proactive. There are now a variety of daily activities that the residents can interact with, with help of the staff - colouring, painting, skittles, beach ball for catch and throw, puzzles, singer and quiz master. It's lovely to see my mother
joining in and smiling.
The staff are very caring and attentive towards my mother. The home is kept clean, always a cleaner working away when I visit. The laughter and banter between the staff are so lovely to hear and see. I enjoy my visits with my mother and also seeing who I now class as my friends - the staff. Thank you so much for the way she is so well cared for and treated with respect.

Mum has become too difficult for me to cope with in my home on my own anymore. They were very helpful in making the transition for both of us as stress-free as possible. Obviously, visiting has been a problem for everybody, but we are kept up to date. Mum had a couple of problems, one being a fall,

My mum received terrible care having many falls lying on the floor for hours. Most staff couldn't understand basic English. When we moved her, she had lost loads of weight and could not walk, no effort to help her walk. Her brand new clothes were all missing. When challenged, they refused to speak to
us, I could go on. This is a terrible place! Sorry Mum.

My mum was a resident at Homelea Residential Care Home for over 2 years. The staffs and management do a brilliant job they are so caring and nothing is too much to ask them. They made my mum happy and my mum was happy living there, sadly my mum passed away though health issues. Homelea you're doing
a fantastic job keep up with the good work you all do, thank you so much for the care you gave my mum and made me feel so welcome as soon as l walk through those doors and with this covid_19. Staff and management are superheroes in my eyes, well done to you all, God bless to you all.

I can't express enough how upset I am with the way this care home dealt with my beautiful Nanna. The constant lies they'd feed us with regards to what they've done/not done for my Nanna. Everything was just unnecessarily difficult in such a heartbreaking time with being her first time in a home after
a fall and a hip operation. Two external experts (paramedic and private hearing test) both personally raised their concerns with us regarding my Nanna's care, one of which made a formal complaint and raised a safeguarding issue (which is currently being investigated). When the care home received a complaint they automatically assumed it was us (her family) and rang us threatening the impact that our complaint will have on the manager's position there (we didn't even make a formal complaint, or raised any concerns to anyone at this point... but if we had, we shouldn't be directly contacted aggressively by the care home because of doing so). I could carry on but I'm restricted to 1000 words.
