The staff and care at Hatherley are excellent. My mother has been there several years now and she is very settled. They have a full programme of activities and much keeps the residents occupied. News and information is regularly available. And issues are communicated quickly and efficiently.

My visits are always welcomed by friendly staff. A friendly environment with happy staff. Lovely clean and tidy home with extra care being shown for all. Lovely we are welcomed by just knocking to enter no appointment needed. Lovely home so caring by all

My mother has been happy at Hatherley, mainly due to the lovely caring staff. It took a little while for her to settle as it was massive change in her life after living independently. However the staff have been very supportive and are the main asset to the Care Home. It is shame that there are not many trips out, and the food is not always very imaginative but it is hard to cater for varied tastes. Overall it is a safe caring place for those who need all levels of support.

Since dad has been in Hatherley Care Home he has adapted to his new home brilliantly. He has maintained his independence such as daily walks and completing jigsaws, and has even started to play the piano again, something he'd given up about 5 years ago. The home has allowed dad to be himself, he goes bird/ wildlife watching and loves to listen to the bells as they ring out at St Mary's. He joins in activities when he wants to.

Although dad doesn't like the coffee, he loves everything else and dad felt pleased very quickly that Hatherley was his new home.

Hatherley is a well run care home, the staff are very nice and helpful. My only concern is: (food) Most of the time it is ok. But sometimes there is not enough choice. I know they can't please everyone all the time.

My mother moved into Hatherley care home in June 2024. When she first moved in she was unhappy because she had to sell her house. But now she loves it , she loves her room and gets on with all the careers . In my opinion the careers and all the staff are very helpful and caring. My mum couldn't be in any better place.

My 95 year old aunt has been at Hatherley since December 25 and I have been very impressed with the quality of care and the efforts made, despite her disabilities and her reluctance, to get her to join in outings and activities. The management is unflappable and the care staff are diligent and kind.

The staff are kind and caring. A warm and friendly atmosphere. All the residents are treated with dignity and respect. A lovely place for my mother to live. She seems very happy there and has made friends.

My husband has been a resident at Hatherley Care Home since 2023. As we live locally we already knew the care home. He settled in very quickly and seems to be very contented. They have a good social events calendar. I find all the staff from the Manager down to be very friendly and caring. I have no worries with my husband being a resident in this care home..
