Care Homes Owned by Adonai Holdings Ltd in Somerset

My mother is happy at Elroi, and is treated well and looked after well by staff. I have safeguarding concerns regarding the individual who lives in a caravan in the field next to the garden of Elroi. I believe he is a resident, however the set up is confusing to me. My mum has told me previously that he is NOT allowed into Elroi Manor itself; on my last visit he claimed over the gate from the field, and entered the building. I question the overall suitability of the set up and his presence on the grounds. I also don't understand how his hygiene needs are being met if he isn't allowed into the building.

I cannot praise them enough for their kindness.

Both my parents have been residents here for 7 months so far and I'm very impressed with the quality of care. Being a small care home, with a great regular team, good relationships have been established between us all. Communication is good and the team strive to make the residents as comfortable and as happy as they can.

The care home provided my mother with excellent, outstanding care and nothing was ever too much trouble for the staff that cared for my mum. Also I witnessed on all occasions when visiting that all residents were looked after extremely well at Elroi Manor.

The staff and management were caring, helpful, considerate, approachable, professional and my mother was very happy spending her last two years of her life at the home.

My 90yr old mum has just gone into this home and I am amazed at how well she has settled in. The staff have been amazing in making mum feel right at home; they have been encouraging her to play the piano which she loves doing. Mum now has a new lease of life. Thank you, Elroi Manor, I feel blessed to have found you.

Elroi Manor proved to be an excellent choice for my mother's complex needs. We had complete confidence in the manner staff were looking after Mum. The manager gave first class guidance and all of the staff were patient and wonderful with Mum. Mum was so content at Elroi Manor and happy to return after her trips out with us. We were so pleased to find Elroi Manor after the disappointment experienced at another nursing home. We are very pleased with Elroi Manor.

My husband has recently died while being looked after at Elroi Manor over the last 6months, I can only say he had the best of care by very caring staff, nothing was to much trouble for them, his care was second to none, and visitors were always made very welcome ,I would highly recommend the care home.

Care is of excellent standard very helpful made to feel very welcome lots of activities to keep simulated food of high quality bedrooms decorated to a high standard and personal photos etc allowed everyone is very friendly and nothing is to much trouble. The home is secure with lovely surroundings.

When Mum first arrived the manager and staff were so helpful and attentive to her needs and assisted us with help getting her settled. I can't state enough how the staff and manager helped Mum to settle into her new environment and they got her diet and nutrition back on track. There is a very large sitting room and dining room which She is able to walk around freely and she enjoys the views. It is a secure home so we now have no worries that she may wander. The home is clean, inviting and the staff are lovely. They are working on the garden which will make the home even more inviting. I have known the manager for years so I am pleased that Mum is in this home managed by her. This home is just starting up again and I can only see it getting better and better.
