My father was cared for by The Hollies for 16-months until he passed away this month. The staff at the care home treated him as if he were family.
The home is cosy, and there are so many activities and Dad was taken on some lovely visits, and my mother was able to go along too.
The summer party
was a memorable family occasion. His room was airy and bright, and the home was well looked after.
The staff are friendly, caring and professional in all that they do, and always attentive to the needs of residents.
Last summer, we took dad into the garden every time we visited, and we were able to install his keyboard at the home for him to play.
He ate well, and the main lounge is small enough that there is a nice atmosphere there, plus the home is very secure, and there is always plenty of staff around.
We looked at several homes, but this was our first choice mainly due to the welcoming nature of the staff and the lovely rooms. I would highly recommend this care home.

My mother was cared for by Hollies for six weeks. The care workers were always professional, caring and sympathetic towards my mother and the other residents. They were always eager to help and acted in a professional manner throughout.

The staff at The Hollies are wonderful and work so hard to support each and every resident. They are caring, friendly and very efficient. Sadly, my grandad recently passed away, however the manager and carers sat beside him until the very end and always tried their best to be as accommodating as possible.
Thank you very much for looking after my grandad so well - we'll miss seeing your lovely faces.

Love the great staff at The Hollies. My dad passed away 19th Sept and the staff were brilliant. They treated my dad like he was their own dad. Whenever I phoned they were always polite and so friendly and put me at ease. I am so pleased we chose The Hollies and I would definitely recommend it. Thank
you all so much for your love and support, fantastic, sincere and beautiful people.

My friend has been a resident of the Hollies for several years. I visit 6-7 times a year on various days of the week and over the years have never found anything to complain about. We are always welcomed and given a cup of tea/coffee and biscuits. A good-humoured staff who are caring and supportive
without being overbearing. Recently I have noticed many improvements in the decor.

Our mother has been very well cared for at The Hollies since she was admitted as a resident at the end of July 2018. Before that, home carers were finding it increasingly difficult to handle our mother who has double dementia, unable to administer personal care and not able to encourage to eat properly
or to get out of bed, even to change soiled bedclothes. Staff at The Hollies handle all these issues with compassion, dignity, very good humour, unphased by our mother's resistance to having essential personal care. There appears to be little in the way of staff turnover and the manager and her team are clearly doing an excellent job. The care home is invariably clean. A variety of activities and entertainment are provided and meals are wholesome. The staff show care and affection for our mother and she is thriving as much as is possible for a woman of 99 years with advanced dementia. Visitors are invariably made welcome, too.

I am pleased that my mum spent her last days at the home, as the care she received was of a consistently high standard by friendly and attentive staff. It was a stimulating environment with activities taking place every day, which gave her much to focus on. In the home, there is a genuinely warm and
positive air with a family-type atmosphere and a great community of care. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I am extremely happy and grateful for the service provided. The Hollies have supported my dad very well through his journey with Dementia. His needs have of course changed over time and the staff have adapted their approach in the best ways to ensure he gets the care he needs. The staff, along with
the manager, are fantastic and have shown excellent skills of attentiveness. They are always happy and so easy to talk to - I highly recommend The Hollies.

Just wanted to thank all the team at The Hollies for the care that you gave to our mum in her final months.
All the team go above and beyond the call of duty - well done to you all.
Mum has been looked after and cared for as if they were one of their own family.
In her final weeks and days, she was
cared for with nothing but dignity and respect, it is nice to know when you leave you are leaving her in very capable hands.
As a family we could not have found a better home for mum to spend her final 8 months - we thank you all so very much from the bottom of our hearts.
Your love and support are greatly appreciated and we will never forget the care that you gave to our mum.
Not only do they support the person who is in the home they also give so much support to the family who are going through a very difficult period.
I write this on behalf of my dad, two brothers and all of our family - thank you.

My father was a resident at The Hollies for a short time. The home is very welcoming and homely. He was made very welcome to his needs. The staff, especially the manager, made him and us at ease. I was totally happy with the care and compassion given to my dad. A very caring home. The food was lovely
cooked freshly for every meal and to your individual nutritional needs. A very relaxed home.

My father has been a resident since June this year. Making the decision to put him in a care home away from his family that love him, was the hardest this I have ever done. However, the staff and management have looked after my dad with real love and care.
He is very difficult to deal with because
of his dementia but they make it look easy.
The look after us when we visit and there is always the same faces working there, a real family feel to the when we are there.
