I would recommend this care home to anybody in my family and in the area.
Thank you so much for the 5-star review. It's so lovely to hear that you are happy at any time but as the last year has been particularly tough, it makes it all the more special. We look forward to your visits when this lockdown is over.
I'd like to thank all the staff, you have truly been amazing. You have all been so kind and caring, I would definitely recommend this home to my family and friends. Thanks for making my Nan's last days a little easier.
Thank you so much for the kind words and wonderful review. Means so much particularly now, during this difficult year. Nan was a lovely lady and will be missed by everyone.
Myself and my family have no problems with my mums care home Kallar Lodge. Very happy with the care of my mother.
Thank you very much for taking time to leave a review.
I am well looked after. It's been an experience to see other cases in here and it makes one realise how lucky one is not to be like them.
Thank you for you review. It has been lovely having you stay with us.
When my mother's dementia reached a stage where she needed full-time care, I was adamant that she would be in a private home. After visiting a number, I didn't feel that they were right for her but I also didn't want to place her in a council home. How wrong I was, Mum's social worker, and my wife, convinced me to at least take a look at Kallar Lodge and I was really impressed by the cleanliness, the facilities and most importantly the carers and staff. Mum settled in quickly and is very happy and always clean and smiling. She is 97, eating well, singing and enjoying her life. The staff always contact me if they have any concerns and there have been regular assessments of mum's needs. A huge thank you to everyone at Kallar Lodge.
Thank you so much for your wonderful 5 star review.
My mother has been at Kallar Lodge for 3 years. She found it difficult at first but settled within a couple of months. She is now happy and well looked after, always clean and nicely dressed when I visit. Her bedroom is large with an en-suite shower room with large windows overlooking a lovely green. Throughout is well decorated with a homely feel and very clean. A hairdresser visits regularly. My mother is not a sociable person but the staff make great efforts to get her to "join in" and she has played bingo with other residents, they also encourage her to join the other residents for her lunch. The meals look appealing and healthily balanced, although rather plain for my taste, I feel this would be the right choice for an older resident. The most outstanding aspect of Kallar Lodge is its staff and carers. Friendly, enthusiastic, supportive and patient - they can't do enough for my mum!
What an amazing review, thank you very much for taking the time to leave it. Our staff here are a great team and love the work that they do, which then reflects on the faces of our residents and their families.
My friend's mother had been in Kallar Lodge for 5 1/2 years. In November she was very poorly and put on comfort care. The staff were brilliant at treating the resident and her daughter and myself with such care and when my friend's mother died it was peaceful. The staff treated her with dignity and were so supportive at a difficult time. We are so grateful to them.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your fantastic review. We pride ourselves on the care we give to our residents and the support we give to their families. They both go hand in hand to make everyones stay or visits, more enjoyable.
I have to say, every time I visit her, I have always found the staff very caring and polite.
Thank you very much for the comments. We look forward to continued visits from you and your family.
I have visited several times and knew one of the residents personally. The atmosphere is very homely but also creates a stimulating environment reminding residents of their own homes and holidays. There are lots of positive messages to help those who need to know where they are - rooms are identified by pictured, the day of the week is displayed, the floor name is identified. It could be classed as a very good hotel. The staff all seem very friendly and supportive and relatives talk about wanting to move in themselves.
Thank you so much for such a wonderful review. We think it is vital to create a "home from home" atmosphere for our residents and your comments confirm that we must be doing just that.
My mum is always clean and seems happy in her own way.
Lovely to hear that you are so happy with Mums care. Thank you.
Kallar is a wonderful place. Mum was there for five years. I visited nearly every week. The staff are friendly. It feels homely there. The residents are happy. Mum was treated with respect and kindness. She was always clean and cared for. I was contacted if necessary about her. The place is immaculate. I have no complaints. I’m just grateful for all Kallar did for her in her last years.
Thank you very much for such a kind review. Please pop in to say hello still as we would love to keep in touch and have you involved with future events.
This care home has a homely feel, staff are very friendly and helpful. The lady I take out for a walk is very happy here, she always says good things about the staff, that they are very helpful and friendly, and that this care home is very tidy and clean. I would highly recommend this place.
Thank you very much for taking the time to leave such a positive review.
I would like to commend you in the care of my mother in law. The care and love given to her whilst she was with you goes a very long way in my opinion. Thank you to management and staff for the care given. I highly recommend you.
