The best move myself and my family ever made was to place our remaining uncle into Whitegates. He was very happy and content there. The level of care and love he received there was second to none. We cannot recommend this care home highly enough!

My mother who is 102 years old has been at Whitegates for 18 months. She has been a little unwell this month but has been very well looked after. The staff are very caring and try their best to keep everyone happy. We like sitting out in the garden, weather permitting, when visiting, with a cup of tea
and the music afternoons are well received.

Mum moved into Whitegates in February at the age of 96 following a very bad fall. Before that she had lived reasonably independently in her own home, so the mover into care was quite traumatic for her.
However, everyone at Whitegates was so kind and helpful and she soon settled in.
Whitegates is a
family, friendly, family run home and were are always made welcome when we visit. We are pleased to see that mum is content in the knowledge that she is being cared for with the utmost dignity, respect, empathy and affection.

Whenever I visit Whitegates, the staff are so friendly and helpful. The residents are well cared for and the staff never complain. It's a family run home and the management are always very obliging.
If you are a visitor, tea or coffee is always offered.

My mother is looked after very well at Whitegates. She is always clean and tidy. She enjoys the food here also. A hairdresser and chiropodist visit regularly and every care is taken for her physical needs ie. doctor, optician etc.


The staff are very caring and as it is a small home they know everyone

personally. The atmosphere is very good. Entertainment and a visits from the church are also frequent. A lovely place.
