I am so happy my mother spent her final two years of her life in villa scalabrini. It gave her a new lease for life. The staff felt more like friends to her, always so kind and nothing was too much trouble. She loved all the activities, morning mass, day trips and sitting in the beautiful garden eating ice-cream in the summer, while singing old Italian songs. After a stay in hospital she went back to villa scalabrini very poorly, the staffs care was outstanding, they got her walking again and their constant interaction enabled her delirium to pass. In the final two months of her life they cared for her with such dignity and love, they were also a great support to me. I will be forever grateful to them all
Your review is very much appreciated. We are proud to be Villa Scalabrini, where care is not a job but a vocation. It is a truly profound privilege to provide compassionate person-centred care for people at this stage of their lives.
My father was at Villa Scalabrini for just over a year, we knew that Villa Scalabrini would be the right place for him as my aunt had been a resident many years ago. The warm and caring ethos of the staff, enabled my father to settle in quickly. The home provided a range of activities and I know that my father enjoyed participating in them, enabling to form bonds with the staff and residents. My father was always well cared for and looked clean and tidy, the staff keep the home spotless. Unfortunately, when our father became unwell the staff were proactive in contacting the family and taking appropriate action, even accompanying him to hospital. Living a far distance from London it was reassuring to know that the staff at Villa Scalabrini were taking excellent care of our dad.
Your review is very much appreciated. It is an honour and privilege to share life with such wonderful individuals. Thank you.
The wonderful kindness, professionalism and friendliness of the staff at Villa Scalabrini has been a source of great comfort while my mother has been living there. She is always extremely well cared for, and has been very happy throughout her stay. A clear focus on providing the highest possible quality of care together with a happy, positive and helpful atmosphere has been consistently evident from staff members at all levels. The cleanliness of the home, general organsation and quality of the food are also excellent.
We are very honoured by your feedback. It reminds us of the importance to give the very best we have for each individual living in Villa Scalabrini. Thank you.
They kept me very well informed with all her care needs.

Villa Scalabrini doesn't employ agency staff and many staff are long standing. They know each resident and all their complexities well. They are wonderful. I believe the staff have a deep seated sense of care and respect towards residents and human life in general which would be difficult to replicate. I am not sure whether it's cultural or from a sense of faith but definitely there is something very genuine about the care. Seeing my mother happy at Villa Scalabrini has filled me with joy. It's a very uplifting place.
Thank you very much for your feedback. We are truly humbled and at the motivated by your genuine and heartfelt words.
I felt the full impact of the delicate care, devotion and consideration of the exemplary staff at Villa Scalabrini during my relative's final hours. They followed my wishes to be with her as long as I wanted and they were on hand to provide whatever was necessary; I didn't have to ask - they sensed my needs to say goodbye in my way. I will never forget the immense kindness of these professionals. Their skills at such a crucial time were second to none!

Both my parents were taken into care at Villa Scalabrini on 27th April 2021 due to both of them having dementia, the care and understanding they were given was outstanding. I cannot praise enough how dedicated, patient and hardworking the carers and all the staff and management members are. I am truly grateful to everybody for all they have done for the palliative care of my very elderly parents. Now that my parents have passed away, I wish the continual success of Villa Scalabrini. Without their care and knowledge I would not have been able to cope with this situation physically or mentally.
It was a great hour for all of us to give the person-centered care your parents deserved.
My sister has been with the Villa Scalabrini for 4 years now, as was my mother who recently passed away. Care from all staff for all aspects has been wonderful. They continue to look after my sister's needs, she has learning disabilities with great care and support since my mother's passing.
A big thank you for your meaningful feedback, which will be passed on the the whole team. The team feel greatly honoured to be able to make a positive and meaningful difference in the lives of all those living in Villa Scalabrini.
My mum has dementia and this care home has really stimulated her needs, she feels valued and has a strong part in this community.
They have beautiful grounds, the activities are exceptional, and they have wonderful entertainment where they sing along to all the old Italian songs from their younger days. The atmosphere becomes electric.
Family members are always welcome and made to feel at home too. The list goes on and on and Mum is very happy there.
I have no hesitation in recommending this home, the whole team are absolutely exceptional, I can feel at ease that Mum has all the care she needs. Thank you all, I wouldn't want Mum to be anywhere else.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. Your kind words are very motivating and confirm our commitment to continue providing compassionate and high-quality care to all our residents.
Our family has had a wonderful experience with Villa Scalabrini. Our aunt is a resident there and we live overseas so it was important for us to feel that she was in a place that treated her well in our absence. Our visits at Scalabrini were always a positive experience and reassuring that we were leaving her with compassionate and caring people. The common areas are big, bright, the outdoor area is beautiful, the staff is always pleasant. We could tell that our aunt was treated very well, knowing she was in an Italian-speaking environment was such a comfort to her and to us. Many thanks to the caregiving team and also to the administrative staff who were always so helpful.
Many thanks for your feedback. It is encouraging to know the work we do is appreciated and people using our services are happy.
My mother has been a resident of Villa Scalabrini for over nine years. Very sadly, she passed away on the 10th of April 2024. She had been living with Alzheimer's. During her stay at Villa Scalabrini, she received the most fantastic care. The staff are so kind and always treated her with the utmost respect and dignity. Because of this my mother was very happy at Villa Scalabrini and thought of it as her home. Even during her last moments the staff were caring and compassionate. This is truly an excellent care home.
Villa Scalabrini has a mix of people taking very good care of me while giving me plenty of choice regarding what activities I choose to join in with. The medical care is very precise, done with real affection. The food is roughly 4-star quality, delivered without undue fuss. My accommodation is a 2 room with shower, very comfortable, with (optional) TV and settee.
Very happy with all aspects of Villa Scalabrini. The place is spotless and the staff are wonderful. The management work very hard to maintain excellent standards. The food is freshly prepared. The activities are varied and fun with much music (often live) and laughter. Highly recommend.
Dear Claudio many thanks for your feedback. It is extremely important for us to know people using our services are satisfied, appreciate what we do, and improve when we need to.
I am very happy with the care my mum receives. She is very well looked after and cared for by the very friendly staff. I honestly have nothing but praise for the way she is looked after in a very caring and compassionate way.
Many thanks for your feedback. it is very encouraging when people are happy with the service we provide. It is a boost to our desire to do even better. Regards.
Both my parents stayed at Villa Scalabrini Care Home for a two-week respite break which they enjoyed. We and they found the staff to be exceptionally kind and caring and would always do their utmost to make my parents feel safe and happy. Now with Covid restrictions lifted, they could enjoy the garden, communal activities and they loved the food. All in all, a very good experience.
Your feedback is highly appreciated.
Many thanks.
My mother has lived at Villa Scalabrini for nearly two years and has various health issues. She recently had a visit from a healthcare nurse who reviewed her complicated meds. One of the staff stayed with us for the appointment, and it was so nice to see the wonderful rapport that she has with my mother. She, like all the other staff at Villa Scalabrini, are always kind, good-natured, patient and genuinely has my mother's best interests at the foremost of everything they do. My mother is happy and well looked after, and I could not wish for more!
We greatly value your feedback. It gives us the opportunity to gauge the satisfaction level of our services, what we do well and where we can do better. Many thanks.
