Hanningfield

My father had to go into care and I placed him in Hanningfield and he absolutely loves it there. He was always saying I've had my life and wanted to die but now he's got a new lease of life. The owners are an amazing family and the staff from management to the carers, cleaners and kitchen staff are fantastic with all the residents. My dad is always laughing when I go and visit him. I can't thank the Hanningfield team enough.

The home is so wonderful. The staff are so caring and helpful and the owners are such lovely people, I really feel like I'm surrounded by family here.

My father has had a very positive experience at Hanningfield. The staff most of whom have been there for a long time and are kind, caring and looks after their residents really well. We, as a family are included in all decision-making activities and events during the year which families are invited to. Fab place, very clean and amazing gardens for the residents, wouldn't have my father anywhere else.

We were recomended this home by a friend and for good reason. My aunt has been living there for the past three years now and has really had such an amazing service delivered day on day with fantastic care and support. The staff can not be faulted with what they will do to ensure her happiness. The manager is lovely and the owners are a fantastic family that are always present and are such lovely people. It has such a homely feel to place would highly recommend it to anyones loved ones when searching around.

My mother has been a resident at Hanningfield for 16 months now. Mother went into care after dementia was taking a hold of her memory. Since being there my mother has always been well cared for and fed. The staff are always very helpful in every respect. The times that mum has been taken ill the staff have never hesitated in calling in medical qualified assistance.

Since residing at Hanningfield for the past two years my mother has received excellent care and attention from all the staff. We could not have wished for better treatment.

Hanningfield provides a very caring and friendly environment for my mother. The staff are very considerate in dealing with her everyday meals and care requirements.

It's hard leaving a loved one with people you don't know especially when they are elderly and vulnerable but we truly trust Hanningfield and have full faith in their ability to care for him and fulfil his needs.

No home is like your own home. This one is clean, warm, cosy etc. The staff are very friendly.

Working in a care home can be very trying for both carers and residents.

It takes lots of patience with residents' poor ears, sight, fitness.

My mother lived at the home for almost 5 years. We have never had any reasons to complain about her care or treatment when needed at all. The staff respond quickly to the needs of residents. There is always a member of the owners on site. When my mother passed away her care and treatment was excellent. The rooms are cleaned every day. Those residents that need help with washing, dressing and feeding are catered for every day and are checked on a regular basis. We as a family were very happy with her care.

A brilliant care home. My Mum is so pleased that she chose Hanningfield. This is an individually owned home, not one of a chain of homes. So it provides a very personal service, with the owners very closely involved. The staff are extremely caring and thoughtful. Nothing is too much trouble. I couldn't recommend it more.

We think that my Mother has never been as happy for years as she is now, long may it continue!.

I cannot speak highly enough of this wonderful Residential home that my father resides in. He has been there for 1 year now and the kindness shown to him and the care and attention towards his medical needs have been wonderful. Their laughter rings out throughout the building and they always welcome everyone with a smile. The staff "All" show genuine care and kindness to every resident. We are encouraged as family to join in and are welcome anytime, and offered a cup of tea. He is supported and listened to and great care is taken to get to know each resident as an "individual" and not as an "inmate". I wish all our elderly were treated this way.
