Primrose Lodge Southbourne Reviews (25)
Over all time Primrose Lodge Southbourne has 25 reviews.
The experience is extremely good. I am very pleased with the food and cleanliness. I am also very happy with the staff.
My friend has settled well at Primrose Lodge due to the caring family atmosphere. The staff are lovely and always welcome us warmly. The activities organiser does a very good job by arranging a number of fun outings and activities. The pretty garden, where residents can sit out, is a real bonus. Our friend has a number of medical problems and we are kept informed and involved in GP/hospital appointments. The standard of care is very good. Well done to all at Primrose Lodge.
I cannot rate Primrose Lodge highly enough. My Father has been a resident since September 2014. He went in for a fortnight respite care whilst some work was being carried out on his bungalow and when the fortnight was up he asked if he could stay. The residents rooms are really nice, spacious and nicely furnished. The staff are amazing. So kind and caring. There is a very homely feel to Primrose Lodge. Staff are really welcoming to visitors/relations and are always available to talk anything over. The food is very good. I have been lucky enough to have tasted the home made cakes. No wonder my Dad has put on weight! He had an awful experience spending 4 weeks in hospital and it was touching how upset the staff at Primrose Lodge were, when he returned to them in a very poor state. I feel they treat the residents very much as individuals. They remind Dad when snooker or cricket is on television. Again I would be happy to recommend the home to anyone.
My brother is very happy at the home hes been there 5 yrs this year have no complaints whatsoever and would recommend this home to anyone. It is a home from home environment and all the residents seem happy.
There are always events and activities planned and yet at no time are the resident's obligated if they don't wish.
The house is situated in beautiful well maintained grounds and there are communal pets and a fish tank, all things that I know the resident's take great pleasure from.
