Willow Grange staff and management have been excellent in terms of looking after my father. The facilities are really good but it is the staff interaction with the residents that make all the difference. They treat people with care and dignity.

. Mum had three UTI's in six weeks before coming into the home and is now fit and healthy.

I'm happy with the care provided by the home. The staff are friendly, supportive and caring. My mother-in-law is dressed tidily and is clean all the time.

She is disabled so requires support eating and all movement and this is done really well by the house.

The home has a very welcoming feel about it. Nicely decorated and extremely clean.

Visitors are always welcome at any time. The staff seem very helpful and polite. There is always food and drinks for the residents every couple of hours and entertainment periodically and some organised theatre trips.

I have been very happy with the care my dad has received in the last 2 months. He is treated with dignity and the staff have shown a real interest in getting to know him. He has been poorly and they have ensured he gets regular visits from the doctor. He was accompanied to the hospital, real compassion shown.

Although my mother has only been in Willow Grange for a short time, we have had excellent times, visited every day. The staff, management and general feeling of contentment by residents is very evident and we are very pleased with our choice of Willow Grange as a care home for my mother. I believe the tick list says all that we have found occurs in this care home.

Overall Experience

The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The management are willing to answer any queries and resolve any issues. They have recently reacted quickly to resolve some safety issues. They have had four activities coordinators in the past 18 months showing how difficult a role it is for one person. Despite this they try many different activities to interest and stimulate the residents. The residents are usually happy and like a chat when I visit my mother 3-4 times a week. Most importantly my mother seems happy and I know she is cared for and safe.

We see the carers of my sister, when her washing goes missing, they say they are going to bring them back. But we have to go looking in the laundry room for them ourselves, although we have put labels in all of her clothes.
