A big thank you to all at Butts Croft, especially one Manager in particular, for the lovely remembrance celebrations, last Saturday. Lovely buffet, songs and memorabilia. Staff are very caring and kind to residents and their families.

The staff at the care home really care about my Mum and Dad. They do everything they can to keep them safe and happy. The home holds events and celebrates their birthdays and anniversaries.
If there are any problems, they keep me fully informed and consult me about all issues. The staff are very friendly
and helpful. There is a family atmosphere and a good sense of humour.

I just wanted to say thank you to the staff and nurses for all the care that they do for all the residents at Butts Croft House. My husband and I visited my mum several times in September. We live overseas and are not able to visit weekly. The staff were so welcoming and kind. They make it feel like
home, so tentative and loving. We all had a lovely time together getting to know each other with my mum. My mum is happy and that makes all our family happy. Also, the gardens are kept so beautifully. Thank you for all you do!

My brother settled really well into Butts Croft with the help of all the caring staff throughout the home. He is now in his 9th Year of his stay due to dementia. My family and I have found the staff helpful and caring every time we see them or talk on the phone, keeping me up to date with his welfare
etc. The standard of the Food is very good and cooked in their own kitchen that always looks clean and tidy and my brother's room is always clean and tidy. The garden has a large balcony overlooking a lovely large garden. We have had many walks around when visiting him with our dog that was welcome at the home and other residents were happy to see and pet her and brought memories back to a lot of them. Butts Croft is like a home from home and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a caring home for a loved one.

My dad has settled in really well. All the staff are really good and caring. His face lights up when he sees them. We are really happy with the care my dad's receiving at Butt's croft. It was my mom and dad's 60th wedding anniversary on the 15/9/2022 and all the staff made my mom and dad's day very
special and the cook made my mom and dad a lovely anniversary cake.

The staff of Butts Croft Care home staged a garden party for residents and relatives last Sunday. The party was staged on a balcony overlooking their gorgeous gardens. There was lots of very nice food laid on cooked by their excellent cook. The staff worked tirelessly keeping everyone happy. It was
a lovely day and the party was very well organised. Well done Butts Croft House.

Poorly managed, poor facilities, residents left at risk of negligence as my poor grandmother and our family had to find out the hard way. Would not recommend this home and it was only meant for a temporary stay.

Found the property and facilities to be in poor repair and an unsatisfactory standard. Staff were in general kind and caring but a lack of experience seemed to affect the experience of care! Poor management response to concerns when raised.

Eight years ago we were looking for a suitable home for my mother who had suffered from Vascular Dementia, a traumatic time for anyone in our situation. We had viewed several homes and weren’t impressed by what we had seen. A social worker mentioned Butts Croft as a possibility so we arranged a visit.
As soon as we entered, we realised this home was far above anything we had seen previously, with such friendly and professional staff, the rooms were modern and clean with all the facilities you need. The same staff are still there now and taking so much time to care for my mother who has deteriorated considerably over the years, keeping her clean and treating her with the dignity she would have appreciated. My husband and I have so much high regard for the home and the staff that run Butts Croft, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone that find themselves in a similar situation, not sure which home to place their loved ones in.

I cannot praise the staff of Butts Croft highly enough. They looked after mum, whilst she was convalescing after an acute illness.
The manager and her staff are simply wonderful, caring, patient and understanding, even with very demanding residents. Being a medic, I spend a lot of time visiting care
homes and am very impressed with the care shown.
The home made food is delicious. I have never seen food served in a care facility that is of such high standard. All freshly made on-site and the staff managed to get mum's appetite back after she had previously lost over 4 stone in weight.
The facility is clean. mum's bed linen was changed daily and the home does not have that 'typical care home odour' at all.
They were also very helpful when we brought in our own private physiotherapist. Mum went into this home unable to walk, but with adequate rest, a great physiotherapist and lots of encouragement, is now living home alone and able to walk. Thank you so much.

My father was in Butts Croft for two and half years until he died. When he first went in there he was able to get around but because no one helps them actively he went downhill, the last three months of his life he was in the fetal position so bed bound, there were carers who were very good and others
a bit slapdash, did not always look clean when went to see him. The thing that disappointed us most as a family was that no one came and showed respect to him at his funeral so to me it showed how much they have respect for you after the person has died.
