Heathfield has exceeded our expectations and hopes for Mothers' experience consistently over the last two years. The leadership team are excellent in terms of knowledge, expertise, and concern for mothers' welfare and quality of living. Bravo.

Overall Experience

My mother has been a resident for the last four years. She is extremely well cared for in all aspects. The staff are excellent and have become friends with my mother and the family. The food is excellent. Steve the chef goes above and beyond. The management and nursing staff keep us updated with any issues Mum may have. We as a family feel secure in the knowledge mum is cared for and happy.

My sister has been in this home for four years and we couldn't be happier in every aspect, there isn't anything that we would change. It is excellent and we would recommend it to anyone. The staff are all excellent and nothing is too much trouble for them.

Overall Experience

Mum arrived at Heathfield in need of respite care following a sudden deterioration in her Alzheimers. The staff were welcoming, kind and endlessly patient with mum who was very confused. There is a lovely ambience to this place like a small hotel. Mum has settled and is happy. The staff listen to all of our queries and are very knowledgeable, helpful and attentive. Heathfield was our first choice.

Came to see a resident and activities were going on and those involved were quite engrossed and happy to be doing something different. Carers made refreshments and brought them around on the trolley. Any guests were also offered refreshments. All staff were courteous and kind, nothing being too much trouble for them.

Heathfield is a warm welcoming place for both residents and visitors. An excellent home. The staff know the residents and treat them with great respect and recognise individual needs. Every time I visit my mum she is dressed in her own clothes, clean, and looks well cared for and she tells me how nice and kind the staff are. Mum is much more healthy due to a good diet and nice food here. There is a good structure to the day which is important for my mum to feel safe and secure. It has been a very good decision to come to Heathfield.

Very friendly home with a real family feel. All of the team treat the residents with respect and as individuals. There is a good range of facilities and a full calendar of varied activities each week, supplemented by interesting excursions. The room is spacious and well-appointed. We were very pleased our relative was able to find a place here. She continues to enjoy the genuine care of the team in this happy home.

Overall Experience

Heathfield provided exceptional care. My mother has been here for 1 year and I have been impressed with the dedication to the provision of kind, friendly and patient care given to all residents. The owners and staff go above and beyond to help new residents settle in and to provide a bespoke experience for residents who have particular interests, for example, organising walks for those who are able. This is in addition to a full range of engaging activities available to all. No on ever seems too busy to have a chat or a kind word for my mother. She has settled in really well.

The staff at Heathfield Residential Home are fantastic. My mum has dementia and they know exactly how to get through to her when she is having a bad day. They have helped her to walk again after a broken hip and are very much available for us as a family as well. We live quite far away from the care home and they are always there to support our contacts by phone. I couldn't recommend them more!

Heathfield is a lovely, caring place to live. The staff are so kind and helpful, always cheerful and welcoming. I can visit at any time and am always offered refreshments. The atmosphere is always happy and relaxed. Activities are organised to entertain the ladies and the food is of a very high standard. I couldn't wish for anything more for my mum.

My mother was resident at Heathfield for the last five months of her life. In summary everyone at the home treated my mother with respect - cared for her, and nursed her. They built up a good relationship with my mother and all the family.

Heathfield enabled my mother to die in dignity. They also supported us through the difficult months and we shall always remember this. I would recommend the care home to anyone!

The standard of care at Heathfield is excellent, my mum is always clean and tidy. The standard of food is also excellent, my mum has always enjoyed her food so this is good for her. We are welcome to come at any time although Mum is getting worse with her dementia and doesn't always know who we are. We know the level of care she is getting far exceeds what we could do for her. Thanks go to all the staff at Heathfield for their excellent care for my mum.
