I have not seen my dad for a while and it was so nice to see him contented. Very friendly staff who made me feel very welcome after my five-hour journey, with a tray and sandwiches. The home has a homely feeling as soon as you walk through the door.

My dad is not an easy man to get along with and can be rather bad-tempered at times but it appears staff know my dad's needs and deal with him very well. The staff are a credit to the care sector with their outstanding, caring natures.

I am really happy with all the staff within Sheraton Court. When visiting my great-granddad I am always greeted with a smile and everybody is always helpful. My great-granddad always looks smart and happy which is all I could ever ask for. When I am visiting I am always offered a cup of tea and the care staff always inform me of how my great granddad has been and what he has been up too. Sheraton Court is a home away from home and all staff can't be praised enough with the work they do.

It is always a pleasure visiting my granda at Sheraton. There is always a warm feel and a welcoming atmosphere. Staff treat my granda with respect, yet carry on with his crazy sense of humour, which my granda loves. I find the manager extremely helpful and approachable and can clearly see the staff have great respect for her.

I have no worries with my granda being in Sheraton Court because he is so well cared for and he enjoys the company in there.

Very pleased that my Mam is now living here. The staff have been amazing, caring and very approachable. Her room is airy and comfortable. Love the little garden area which will come in very handy when we get a lovely day to sit in. Overall my family are very happy with no worries.

My mother has resided at Sheraton Court for 5 months. She has dementia but still has some insight. Although resistive of going into care, she has settled well and is happy being there most of the time. Staff are very good an will usually keep me informed of any issues that may arise. I feel that I can discuss any concerns I have with care staff and confident that they are acted upon in a timely fashion and can address any problems with the home.

My mother moved into Sheraton Court last February due to her deteriorating Alzheimer's condition which was causing her difficulties in her home life and we constantly worried for her safety and welfare.
Since then, I have popped in to see her on a regular basis. It can be upsetting to see the effect of this dementia on my mam, but I am very much comforted by the fact that Sheraton Court's carers do such a great job looking after Mam and the fact that they are there to help, no matter the time of day or night.
The carers show friendliness, professionalism and compassion which I would imagine can be difficult to do in a lot of circumstances. Mam always tells us that she's ready to go home, but in the next breath, she tells us how nice it is to live at Sheraton Court and always tells us how well she's looked after by the staff.

My congratulations to Sheraton Court for doing a fine job! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this care home.

My father in law became a resident in January because his dementia and general health worsened which meant he needed specialist care. Sheraton Court not only provided a high level of personal and social care for my father in law, they also helped family members to visit when we wanted and kept us informed on how he was getting on. My father in law was prone to wandering during the night so staff fitted a sensor pad which alerted them to when he got out of bed so they could keep him safe.
Sheraton Court provided meals and snacks of a high standard and organised activities and treats for the residents to keep them happy. Clothes were laundered and personal cleanliness was taken care of to a very high standard.

When my father in law needed end of life care staff not only looked after his social and medical wellbeing they went the 'extra mile' to look after his relatives. This was a very upsetting time for us but all the staff looked after us with sensitivity and a loving, helpful approach.

My wife and I cannot speak highly enough about the admin staff and care staff in Sheraton Court. They have gone the extra mile to accommodate my mother in law. Care staff have been on hand to not only make her comfortable but to answer any questions we had or requests we made. Catering was most accommodating for this 95-year-old lady. Overall our mother's experience was one I would recommend to anyone. Thank you.

My father has been a resident in Sheraton Court coming up 2 years now and from day one, he has received the highest standard of care, as I would expect. He also has a new family which I didn't expect, who not only care for him with respect and dignity but also laugh, cry and entertain him. All the team at Sheraton Court interact with residents while doing their day to day jobs, which makes my dad's day when they tell stories of their families. It's encouraging seeing HC-One pushing forward with enhancements to buildings and activities which are enriching my dad's and other residents' lives.

When I arrived a staff member had gathered residents for a carol singing session.

I went to visit my aunt who is a resident this home. She has been a resident for about four years now. The home is always bright and clean and fresh, which from personal experience with my own mother in two different homes in Hartlepool is not always the case given the type of residents. This home was beautifully decorated for Christmas but even when not it is a wonderfully cheerful place with murals of all kinds on the walls. My aunt is always clean and smartly dressed even when no visitors are expected.
