Franklin House care home is a welcoming setting in West Drayton delivering dementia, nursing and respite care.

The modern, purpose-built home has a relaxed atmosphere, with light and airy rooms and large, secure gardens where residents can take a stroll or even lend a hand with the gardening. The home has themed spaces that are great for residents living with dementia, including a reminiscence room, music room and sewing room. The home even has its own in-house pub and hair salon.

The friendly team enjoys getting to know each resident so they can tailor each care and lifestyle plan to the individual. All of the activities offered are based around residents' lifelong hobbies and the things they tell the team they like doing.

other privately arranged healthcare. Should you require an escort to hospital appointments, we may apply
an agreed hourly charge for this service.

My brother was in the final stages of suffering from Leukaemia and was admitted to Franklin House so that he could pass away in peace and with dignity. From the moment he arrived, he was treated like someone very special. His every need was met with love and compassion. Sadly, he was only there for
a few hours but it was as though the staff had known him all his life and that they were welcoming him home. I will never forget their kindness, not only to him but to me and my family. Thank you so much.

My husband was in Franklin House for a very short time but we were overwhelmed by the love and care he received and how we were treated with such care and understanding.
Such a beautiful, well run home with wonderful staff all of which allowed my husband to pass away peacefully with a smile on his

My mother was taken in by Franklin House at very short notice due to having a fall. From our first interaction during Mum's assessment for care until her final days, I found everyone at Franklin House to be professional, respectful and totally focussed on my mother's care needs. She welcomed their interactions
and in her eight short weeks made many friends amongst the staff.
The care and support I received after Mum's death was exemplary and continues still.

When my father was taken into the nursery home, everything was explained to us in great detail. He was taken in from hospital around September 2018.
The managers were very helpful in dealing with the transfer and the staff were very helpful in making sure he was comfortable. It didn't take very long
for him to settle in and the care was total in all his needs. My dad always had a big smile whenever the staff went into check on him.

Having seen other care homes, this one was much more like being in a normal house with ornaments and pictures on the wall.
The staff were always very friendly and did their best to meet my mother's needs.

Franklin House care home is a wonderful place, very much a home from home. The staff are fantastic and very caring and got to know my mum extremely well, knowing and understanding all her little quirks and ways. Mum felt very comfortable there and was known for her smiling and her need to find company.
The amazing staff always had kind words for her and I felt assured that she was being looked after at all times. I was always kept informed of what was happening and the staff were so approachable. I would like to thank everyone at Franklin House for their support both to my mother and my family during her two years at the home.

Sadly my father needed end of life care and was only there for two weeks. The staff were so caring, thoughtful and made not only Dad's last couple of weeks comfortable but also put myself and my sister at ease. We can't thank the manager and the team enough.

She was 103 years old and had lost the will to live, but in the 2 1/2 week she was in Franklin House she received care, consideration and respect. Due to the excellent level of care our mother receives at Franklin House, the frequent hypo's (diabetes) infections and accidents, severe depression she suffered for decades, are no longer a concern. With 4-5 visits a week we see the consistency of care she gets. This has totally removed the burden
of worry for my sisters and myself, that we had when she was at home, they are no longer a serious concern for us. We have got our lives back, and Mum is clean, well fed and is no longer morbidly obese. Please send me there if I go the same way.

I joined Care UK in 2001 from the teaching profession. I liked Care UK’s ethos and what the company had to offer. I’ve worked hard to get a good team around me – having a team I can trust makes my job a lot easier – and many of the residents’ relatives have been great in supporting us to get the home to where it is.


Day-to-day I love chatting to residents and listening to their stories, as well as finding out how we can make their daily lives even better.
