My family, my husband and myself are delighted with the superb care my dad has received from the first day he arrived at the home. We have to fit our visits around his numerous activities. He took residence about mid-March 2023 he looks amazing, has put on weight and is always busy. Wonderful staff. The best decision ever made. Thank you for a wonderful home.

My father has been staying at The Sidcup Care Home since April 2022. The overall experience was excellent. The most important thing to me is knowing my father is safe and well looked after, The Sidcup Care Home has achieved this already. All the staff I come across are friendly and supportive. Although my father is not able to communicate verbally, I know that he's settled in very well and likes the home very much.

The staff are absolutely brilliant. Care is great. Nothing is too much trouble! Thank you!

For the most part, my cousin received very good care from several exceptional staff, for which the family is truly grateful. However, the night care fell short of that given by the day care team and this appears to have been a common observation by other resident family members. Catering for the most part was good but again, a common observation was food served that was incapable of being cut/prepared by residents (and in some cases by staff). Very disappointed in handling the recovery of the body which was demanded just four hours after her passing.

Comfortable and clean home. Seems well-staffed though no reception on bank holidays!

Mum came from hospital for assessment. Her condition has improved significantly since her arrival. She is happy with her room, staff and care. Thank you for taking care of Mum.

My cousin is very happy that she is being listened to. Understandably, the waiting time for her pads to be changed after she has cleared her bowels can be from 30 minutes to 1.5 hours. Knowing the staff always makes my cousin feel at home. Thank you.

Mum has been in the home for two months now, when she arrived from the hospital she was in poor condition. The home has done a wonderful job getting her better. Now and again there is a little wait for Mum to get her pad changed but overall majority of the staff do a good caring job. Management has been very helpful and understanding towards me and Mum.

The residential care team have been brilliant with my mum. She moved in there in February from Northumberland to be closer to family in London. At that point, she was in shock at moving from her bungalow to a care home, anti-social and did not want anything to do with the activities. The team reassured me that all would be fine given time but I was very anxious and guilty about the whole thing. Fast forward a couple of months and what a transformation! She has settled in so well, takes part in all the activities and sees her extended family far more frequently. She now has a better quality of life and my anxiety and guilt have melted away. All I can say is a heartfelt thank you to the wonderful team of carers who do a fantastic job not only for their residents but also for the wider family.

My wife has been a resident in The Sidcup Care Home since February 2021 and during the ensuing months, I have visited her consistently at least three times each week. My encounters with care staff and management have always been positive and helpful.

Overall, I have found this home very good. Staff are caring and kind. Food is good, served in a clean and beautiful environment. The choice to eat in your own room is extra special. The garden is very pretty and well-maintained. Chiropody and hairdressing on site are very pleasing, offering a manicure is a bonus. Many activities are provided and are fun, especially the exercises. Time allowed for going outside with residents, helping them to finally walk alone, seems very limited. Staff at times are too rushed, creating unwelcome tension, therefore, more staff are necessary.

My father was looked after exceptionally well during his 2 year stay in The Sidcup Care Home. He was always happy, chatting with the staff, particularly when they were bringing round the tea trolley.

Dad has settled in well and seems comfortable and happy. He has been able to develop his independence thanks to the helpful and well-motivated staff.

We have been very satisfied with the care provided by staff at the home. The important matters for us are; quality of care, the empathy and experience of staff, cleanliness, quality and variety of food, and medical and healthcare support. We have no hesitation in giving a high rating for each off these. The home is well-managed. We needed time to satisfy ourselves as to whether simple respite or long term stay was the most appropriate and we were not hurried into a decision, there was an appreciation that these decisions take time to reach and implement.

Very pleasant, relaxed and comfortable short stay, giving the family a well-deserved break. Supportive, caring and dedicated staff trying their best to keep everything running smoothly, but one can see the need for extra hands which will help in the long run. This would also enable them to give a little bit more attention to residents who, at times, need more attention and help. Overall, well maintained and well-run home. I would certainly recommend it to friends and family.

I was very impressed by the excellent services provided by The Sidcup Care Home and the entire staff's dedication, patience and care. The management team have always been very helpful and polite and has given me a lot of support. I would also like to thank the chefs for the excellent meals they prepared. The reception staff are exceptionally nice and friendly. I would, without any hesitation, give the care home and all its staff a 10/10. Please keep it up. A big thank you to all of you.

I spent two weeks here because my wife had an operation and needed recovery time, I was really apprehensive at first but everyone from the reception to every member of staff was welcoming, caring, helpful and friendly, which took away any anxiety. The food was very good. I cannot fault any aspect of my stay.

The whole team has been so helpful and supportive with my father's placement. They are so compassionate and caring to me and him in this stressful time. They even celebrated his eighty-ninth birthday with banners and a cake when we couldn't make it.

It was my husband who went into care to give me a break, this is the second time he had gone to this home and the staff seemed very nice. He has dementia so it is hard a true picture for me to give you.
