During her stay, she was always shown love and consideration. She was a very shy person, and she was shown dignity and loving care. I was very happy with the care from the nurses and carers.
We are saddened to hear about your loss. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you or your family.
I'm happy here.
Thank you for sharing your really kind review with us.
I like it here, everyone is nice.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us lovely feedback.
I'm looked after very well.
Thank you for your positive feedback, we really appreciate it.
Mum enjoys living at the home. There are lots of activities that she joins in with, and the staff are always willing to help, and there are no bad odours. She enjoys her food which there is always a choice. However, one concern on numerous occasions as she is deaf, her hearing aid was not in and therefore very frustrating for her and the family; to join in with activities was challenging.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We will discuss your feedback with the home manager to help us continually improve our service.
The decor is a little dated. The garden is nice but needs more tables and chairs and a covered outdoor space for colder days and to make more space should more people wish to go into it/outside.
It needs music in the rooms if you wanted to lighten the mood.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. Our resident’s health and well being is an absolute priority. We will certainly pass your comments on to the manager. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your Mum's stay as comfortable as possible.
My whole family will forever be grateful to them and thank them sincerely for making the last few years of her life happy ones.
We are very sad to hear about your loss. We can only hope you feel like your mother received the best possible care.
I found the staff very helpful. Your food is wonderful. I would love to come back if ever I was ill again. The hairdressers I found done a lovely job on my hair as it hasn't been washed for 8-weeks, all-round I am very happy here.
Thank you for the lovely comments. We are very happy to hear you enjoyed your stay.
From the day my husband was admitted, he has been treated with the utmost dignity and respect and I have seen the most magical improvement in him in just a couple of weeks. All the nursing staff are so caring with both my husband and myself.
We are very happy to hear you can feel at ease with your husband in our care. Thank you for the kind comments.
Father enjoyed his stay over Christmas having stayed before for his 101st birthday. Entertainment and care was first class and he hopes to stay for his 102nd birthday.
Congratulations to your father! We are very happy to hear he enjoyed taking part in all the celebrations.
Brought in from hospital January 2019.
The home overall is excellent. My mother-in-law has settled well. Having the hairdressers on site is excellent as my mother-in-law always loved to have her hair done every week. The staff in the hairdressers always make you feel very welcome. All the staff in the home are brilliant.
Thank you for your kind words. We are very delighted to hear your mother-in-law has settled well. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to make her more comfortable.
We were so blessed to have found this setting. The staff were amazing and we know that our Mum was given the best care possible. Treated with respect, dignity and love, she was comfortable and at peace. We are sad her journey was not longer, due to her terminal illness, but are so grateful for the service provided, not only to her but to us as a family. We were kept informed and supported at all times. A beautiful, clean environment, with beautiful, kind, caring staff. Thank you so much.
Thank you for your kind words. We are very sorry to hear about your mother. Hopefully you can go away from this feeling like your loved one received the best possible care.
Made to feel welcome right from the start and continued throughout my stay. Thank you very much.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We really appreciate the kind words.
I found all the staff were very caring and thoughtful. The room was kept clean and refreshments fine.
Thank you for taking the time to leave such lovely feedback.
I went on my first impression. The receptionist was understanding, professional and helpful. The care team were and are amazing. The care, help and support are 100%. I would definitely urge anyone who is not sure to go and speak to the Sidcup team. I know I have made the right choice.
Thank you for such a lovely review. We are delighted to hear you can trust us with your loved ones care and can feel at ease doing so.
All carers are good.
Many of staff very attentive to mum but she needs checking on more often. Have found mum with pyjamas on under her clothes, no hearing aids in. Jugs to heavy for her to pour her own juice. Very few staff to be found at weekends. My sister and I feel we need to come into check on her every day.
As a daily visitor to Sidcup Care Home, I am impressed by the care to residents and visitors. Staff are always available to discuss or answer questions when asked.
Thank you for such a lovely review. We hope to see you again soon!
There was a happy atmosphere which helped my recovery during a difficult time in my life. I have recommended The Sidcup already to several people.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay at the Sidcup. We hope to see you again soon.
