My mother entered Sidcup Nursing Home on 13th March 2018. She was a resident there until she passed on 19th October 2020.

During her stay, she was always shown love and consideration. She was a very shy person, and she was shown dignity and loving care. I was very happy with the care from the nurses and carers.

Mum enjoys living at the home. There are lots of activities that she joins in with, and the staff are always willing to help, and there are no bad odours. She enjoys her food which there is always a choice. However, one concern on numerous occasions as she is deaf, her hearing aid was not in and therefore very frustrating for her and the family; to join in with activities was challenging.

Mum's care home is friendly and her care is good. The staff are very nice. The rooms are, in my opinion, far too small with insufficient wardrobe space.
The decor is a little dated. The garden is nice but needs more tables and chairs and a covered outdoor space for colder days and to make more space should more people wish to go into it/outside.

It needs music in the rooms if you wanted to lighten the mood.

My mother spent three years in The Sidcup Care Home until her sad death on the 11th May. The staff are wonderful and treated my mother with gentleness, professionalism and dignity. They all loved my mother as she was very sweet and gentle natured right up to the end and they did all they could to ensure my mother was happy and in good health.

My whole family will forever be grateful to them and thank them sincerely for making the last few years of her life happy ones.

I found the staff very helpful. Your food is wonderful. I would love to come back if ever I was ill again. The hairdressers I found done a lovely job on my hair as it hasn't been washed for 8-weeks, all-round I am very happy here.

The home overall is excellent. My mother-in-law has settled well. Having the hairdressers on site is excellent as my mother-in-law always loved to have her hair done every week. The staff in the hairdressers always make you feel very welcome. All the staff in the home are brilliant.

We were so blessed to have found this setting. The staff were amazing and we know that our Mum was given the best care possible. Treated with respect, dignity and love, she was comfortable and at peace. We are sad her journey was not longer, due to her terminal illness, but are so grateful for the service provided, not only to her but to us as a family. We were kept informed and supported at all times. A beautiful, clean environment, with beautiful, kind, caring staff. Thank you so much.

Many of staff very attentive to mum but she needs checking on more often. Have found mum with pyjamas on under her clothes, no hearing aids in. Jugs to heavy for her to pour her own juice. Very few staff to be found at weekends. My sister and I feel we need to come into check on her every day.
