Very happy. A really lovely home, much better than the previous home. They asked for an autobiography of Mum, so they could talk to her, which I thought was lovely as they can talk about relevant information on her. They keep my mum very clean and tidy with clean hair. She's not with it at all but seems very happy there, warm and content. Staff are so excellent and friendly, and call me by my first name! Also, let my dog come to visit; he loved it!
Thank you for your lovely review. We are so glad that you have found our person-centric approach works well with your Mum, it is so important to us to know about our residents and their interests and life experiences as well as their care needs. Thank you for your kind words.
Your staff well look after my dad.

Staff at St Mary's are excellent, from the welcoming office staff, lovely, caring carers/nurses, entertainment ladies through to the happy, cheerful cleaners; they all play a part in making a perfect environment for my dad. It ticks all the boxes from the meals, cleanliness, entertainment and care he is given. Would highly recommend.

My father-in-law is treated with dignity and respect. He is always clean and happy when I visit. Residents have daily activities to keep them engaged and stimulated. His well-being and health have improved since residing here. Staff are kind, committed and caring. I know he is in safe hands here at St Mary's, as residents needs come first.

Greeted with a smile from friendly and helpful staff. Dad has improved a lot since moving in here in October. He enjoys mixing with the other residents and playing bingo!

The staff are always very friendly and accommodating. In relation to the resident, she is kept warm, cosy, acknowledged, and looked after very well from my observations. And what's important is that they are able to make her laugh, and she responds well in return.
Thank you for your feedback. We are happy to hear that everyone is always friendly and accommodating. Thank you again for your review.

My dad had a 10-day stay at St Mary's at the end of his life. I immediately knew he was in safe hands. His care was excellent; all staff were incredibly caring, friendly and accommodating. In that short period of time, I felt like one of the family. Covid rules were adhered to, and as Dad was very ill, I was allowed to see him every day and saw first-hand the care, clinical excellence and dignity he was shown by all. St Mary's was a Godsend in our saddest of times; I can't thank them enough.
Thank you for your kind words; we are sorry for your loss, please accept our condolences. It is lovely to hear that you felt your dad was in safe hands at St Mary's when he arrived. We are glad to have helped you and your family through such a difficult time. Hopefully, you will go away from this feeling like your Dad received the best possible care.

I was extremely impressed by the care, tenderness and professionalism of the staff at St Mary's Care Home. They provided excellent care for my mum in the last five months of her life. They made a very difficult time easier for her and me.

I cannot recommend the team at St Mary's highly enough. I had an urgent requirement for respite care for my dad. The manager and her team were so supportive and did everything they could to put me at my ease and make the situation as conformable for Dad and I. The administration was very straightforward and easy to deal with. His room was lovely and bright with excellent facilities. They asked about him, his likes and dislikes and what he preferred to be called to the type of activities he enjoyed. There was a full medical handover, and I was reassured that there was a doctor available if he required one. As I was unwell, they facilitated video calls so that we could catch up. The team that looked after him on a day to day basis were so good with him; he really enjoyed his stay. I can’t thank them enough for taking the stress out of the situation (needing respite) and providing such exceptional care. Should we require this service again, I wouldn’t wish him to go anywhere else.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave us your comments. It is always nice to hear from family members feeling like their loved one is cared for and looked after and that you felt supported. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your Dads stay as comfortable as possible.

We have been so impressed with all interactions with St Marys. My uncle looks so well and is so happy here. The difference we have seen in him and his well-being has been amazing. He feels safe and supported and is enjoying getting to know everyone. It has enabled the rest of the family to breathe a huge sigh of relief knowing he is well cared for. Thank you to everyone.

The staff at St Mary's are amazing. We sadly lost our mum, but we still have our dad here. The compassion, caring and kindness is unbelievable. Can't thank them enough through this sad time. Strongly recommend your loved ones will be well looked after if you decide to put them there. The nurse in charge of our mum and dad's floor has so much compassion. We, as a family, have been blown away.
