I attended the Namaste Day and had a wonderful manicure. I'd never been into the therapy room, what a fantastic room. Very peaceful and relaxing. The beautician was exceptional. I was guided by her with what treatment she wanted to do and extremely pleased. The residents are very lucky to receive regular treatments in such a beautiful room. When can I come again! Definitely need more days like this please.

One member of staff made the Mother’s Day celebration really special. I just don’t know how she does it. The singer was great, cakes, sandwiches and a summer cocktail to top it off was amazing. Mum had a great time as did we. Some very happy memories for us. Thank you to the team and all involved.

I just wanted to express my gratitude and to give praise to all the staff and carers at the Queens Court Care Home. Also to add how impressed I am with the level of care and respect my Mum receives at the facility. I live overseas in Australia but was fortunate enough to get back in December of last year and spend a number of weeks with Mum at the home. I was absolutely humbled by the dedication and enthusiasm of the staff in making Mum as happy and comfortable as she possibly could be. Particular thanks go to the entertainment team who also facilitate all my video calls with her when I'm back in Australia. It gives me great comfort when being so far away in the knowledge that Mum is being looked after by such a dedicated and professional team. Thank you!

Overall the home was better than I was expecting. It looked bright and well cared for. The staff were very friendly and caring.

On the negative side, there was an almost constant noise of beepers going off and the home was too hot (everyone in t-shirts) and airless. It would be great to have some exercise class opportunities for walks outside.

With all my heart I would like to thank the staff in reception, a warm and helpful young lady, to the exceptional nursing staff, a true living angel and all the other ladies and gents. Thank you for treating my dad like one of your family and for the respect and dignity you give to all your residents and visitors, you are all unique and outstanding human beings and I regard you all as my extended family now, love to you all.

Review from S G (Relative of Resident) published on 9 February 2024 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

My relative came here for what ended up being palliative care. There is neither the appropriately trained or the number of staff to provide this type of care. Worst of all nobody really seemed to be bothered. At one stage our relative was left for 12 hours without being changed and only then because we asked. There was no communication between staff or with us. In the end, we stayed for the best part of 72 hours as we had no faith left. It made a very difficult situation so much worse. We just feel so terribly let down by this home.

My sister moved into Queens Court Care Home in April 2023. With support from the kind and caring staff, she has been able to settle in well and benefit from all the facilities on offer.
She enjoys taking part in the varied programme of activities, including chair-based exercises, quizzes and a range of musical entertainment and themed events.
In the warmer weather, the lovely garden has been her favourite place to sit and spend time with visitors.
As a family member, I am always made very welcome and also kept up to date regarding my sister's health and well-being.

Thank you to all at Queens Court.
