I was very pleased to be able to have a room here for my husband when his vascular dementia became more than I could manage at home. The nursing staff are marvellous in coping with the residents. My husband needs help dressing and going to the toilet and undressing every day. The only thing that is
disappointing is that items keep disappearing from his room, personal items like gifts from family and a bedside clock, which were are recovered. I saw another resident wearing his new slippers which are marked clearly and eventually got these returned, but nothing else, which is disappointing.

My mum has been in Queens Court Care Home for the past year, and she is cared for perfectly. She is happy and comfortable and gets on well with all the staff - even though she's 96, she loves to have a bit of banter with both nurses and carers. The staff are all very friendly and helpful - the activities
and events manager is so bubbly and happy, which is wonderful for the residents and their relatives - she arranged for Mum to have a live streaming of my brother's funeral just recently and sat with her for the duration to make sure she was ok even singing the final hymn with her - without this, Mum would not have been able to be part of it as she would have wanted. The head of the nursing team upstairs is a real star and goes over and above to ensure that Mum is ok and happy. The admin staff are all so helpful and will go out of their way to assist. I am so grateful for all that they do, and so is my mum. I would not hesitate to recommend anyone moving into Queens Court.

My family celebrated my dad's 80th Birthday at Queens Court on Thursday 8th September. I can honestly say I couldn't have done it without all the help and support from the activities coordinator. She helped organise the entertainment, refreshments and the smooth running of the whole day. What an absolute
asset she is to Queens Court, the residents and of course the families and friends. Thank you so so much. Words alone cannot express how grateful we are to you. Can I also say, as the Queen passed away on the same day as Dad's 80th. May the Queen rest in peace and long live King Charles.

Staff are both pleasant and accommodating, with smiles all-round. I have yet to hear a complaint from my grandma. Residents seem positive and comfortable - well catered/cared for. Covid policies have been adhered to on each o my visits. The events manager is a great people person and a joy to be around.
I feel safe and happy leaving my grandma in your care and am reassured with each visit.

The carers are very kind and always treat me with care and dignity. The management are very helpful to my daughter and are always available and eager to help in any way they can. The receptionist is extremely nice and caring and goes out of her way to help my daughter. The entertainment lady is amazing,
always happy and runs lovely, fun events. She arranged the most wonderful party for me when I was 91. Also, the jubilee street party was such fun, with great entertainment, food, drink and decorations.

We wanted to praise and thank the Entertainment Manager, who was fantastic in setting up a party on a Sunday for us to celebrate our family member's birthday. She was really helpful both prior to and on the day and assisted with refreshments and a lovely cake. Excellent service and so much appreciated

My mother has been in Queens Court Care Home since March 2020. The pandemic initially made it very difficult to visit and spend any quality time with her. After a few ups and downs and my eventually having all Covid jabs, plus the booster, I was classed as an 'Essential Caregiver', so could visit my
mum any time I wanted. The frequency of the visits, combined with the friendliness and care of the staff, have not only helped my mother, but in turn, have allowed me to adjust to what has been a traumatic time and I am totally at peace with the way my mother is treated. I feel like a member of a family and am always given a meal if I am still there when it is served. The care staff, activities manager, and receptionists show an affection for my mum, that I would never have expected.
When I mention Queens Court to some of my work colleagues, those who know the home can't speak highly enough of it, not to mention the area in which it is located. A high endorsement indeed.

My family are very happy with the care my mother receives here. The staff are very kind and compassionate. The management team are very willing to help make my mother’s stay with them a happy one. On her birthday they decorated a communal room, for us to celebrate her birthday with us and provided great

My mum was transferred to Queens Court in December and fragile and poorly, but a week she was much better and happy. Thanks to the staff etc at Queens Court. Furthermore, the place itself is clean tidy and organised.

Mum seems happy - always clean and tidy in her appearance. Room smells much better, obviously addressing Mums urine problem (incontinence).
The staff are very accommodating and report weekly about her week and any incidents that occur.
Doctor seems to visit regularly and if she has a fall the doctor
is called and Mum is given a thorough examination and watched by the nursing and care staff.

My mother has been in Queens Court Care Home for nearly 5 years. The home and care staff are just lovely. Through the pandemic, they have done everything they can to keep the residents safe while helping the family to stay in touch and keep communicating.
My mother is very happy and that is what Queens
Court wants at all times. I feel very lucky we found Queens Court for my mother.

The activities' manager and reception staff went to a great deal of trouble to ensure that a group of five visitors, and a dog, could celebrate my nan's 90th birthday in the best style possible, given the present restrictions. The lounge was decorated with balloons, streamers, and number confetti. The
kitchen staff provided beautifully presented finger sandwiches, even suitable for a vegan visitor, and there were treats for the dog and a water bowl. There were also fresh chilled fruit juices, and two show-stopping giant helium balloons, a nine and a zero. We were permitted to stay all afternoon and nothing was too much trouble. Given how much else the staff are doing, this was very accommodating and thoughtful and, as we live in the west country, they coordinated almost everything for us. The staff even allowed her twin brother to celebrate alongside her, although he is not a resident. We are grateful that we could see Nan and enjoy her landmark day with her. Thank you very much.

Mum seems a bit more settled now we can have regular visits. Very hard and frustrating during lockdown for Mum and myself. Hopefully, with summer approaching, Mum will be able to actually go outside and get a bit of vitamin D, which I am sure will make her more content. Possibly take her for a walk
in the wheelchair at some point.

Daniela Caprioara

Job Title: General Manager Joined: 2023

Daniela joined the Queens Court family in 2023 as the home's Deputy Manager and has recently taken the role of the home’s General Manager.


As a Registered Nurse, Daniela has over ten years of experience within the Health and Social Care sector in Clinical and Managerial roles within the NHS and also the private sector.


“As the General Manager here at Queens Court Care Home, I'm committed to providing our residents with the best care possible in a compassionate and understanding way. I strive to create a happy, fun, friendly and familiar atmosphere and environment for the well-being of all.


My role is complex and involves a range of responsibilities that ensure our home runs smoothly and that the residents get the support they need. As the home’s manager, I genuinely care about our residents, the team and the wider care home community. I’m proud to be the manager of Queens Court, it’s a lovely place to work. The community culture of home shapes our values, beliefs and dedication of the staff who put the needs and preferences of residents at the centre of everything they do. At Queens Court, we provided an inclusive and welcoming environment for all, residents, their families and loved ones, staff and professionals.”

Diana Moraru – Manole

Job Title: Operations Director Joined: 2022

Essex Regional Operations Manager, Diana has a wealth of experience and knowledge from across Health and Social Care Sectors.


With over 16 years of experience, Diana started her career as a Health Care Assistant in a neurosurgical hospital and went on to train and qualify as a Nurse in Romania. Since coming to the UK in 2016 as a Nurse, Diana has had various roles leading up to her first General Manager role in 2017.


Diana’s experience in developing a team’s knowledge and skills through leadership and mentoring is something she is passionate about and is looking forward to supporting RCH Care Homes across Essex.


Another part of her role as Essex Regional Operations Manager that she loves is, ‘inspiring a great team to make further differences to the lives of the residents, making sure they are living their best life possible and that everyone feels it is a nice place to live and work; because it’s a home from home.’


Whilst not a work Diana enjoys travelling, keeping up to date with world news and being adventurous; this year she took part in a Sky Dive!

I stumbled upon Queens Court Care Home for vacancies and was offered the position of Activities Co-ordinator.


I have been in my role for 4 years, and have loved every minute. I have learned it is not just a job but a vocation and this has helped me to find my place in the community.


What I love about my role is that I am able to make a difference to our residents’ lives and their families. Anther important part of my role is bringing together the local community as a whole.


I was recently honoured that as testament and in recognition of my role and what I've achieved within the role as Queens Court's Activities Co-ordinator I recently won the Pride of Essex, Unsung Hero Award 2020, to which I was blown me away!
