I found it very relaxing, the staff very caring. It was nice being there enormously. The house was warm and it has got a nice garden. It was very well run - well done Ashgrove.

We are very grateful.
My Dad was in Ashgrove for only a short time before his passing. The staff were extremely helpful and caring, not only to my Dad but to us as a family. The staff were very accommodating and sensitive to my Dad's needs. He was always clean and well cared for.

Ashgrove treated my Dad with the utmost respect and dignity. He was only there for 10 days but settled very quickly which put our minds at rest in the knowledge he was being well cared for. All the staff were excellent and not only cared for my Dad but ensured the whole family were looked after too. On the day he passed away the care was second to none and we, as a family, were treated with compassion and didn't feel rushed at all. A great service at the most difficult of times.
My Mother is residing at Ashgrove Care Home, Cradley Heath. Our first visit to the home we were surprised at the cleanliness and care given to the elderly. Its been 2 months now and the staff are patient and friendly and would recommend this company to anyone.

She was given the very best end of life care, and we were treated lovingly just like a family. Her end was dignified, and she passed knowing that we were there for her. I feel really lucky to have had mom in the care of Ashgrove. Thank you so much.

My mum has been a resident since October 2017. The care she has received has been second to none. In my experience, all the carers who work here are extremely committed to their job and residents needs all come first. On a personal level due to their care and attention, they have literally saved my mum's life. When she came into the home she was eating nothing, she now eats fair meals a day and snacks all due to staff.

We would recommend without hesitation.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
My dad could be very awkward indeed. He was sent to Ashgrove for palliative treatment. My dad could be very awkward indeed. He was sent to Ashgrove for palliative treatment. The staff were always very patient with him encouraging him to get up and go into the lounge and dining room for meals. This was good as he would have lain in bed many days. I never saw anyone lose their patience with him when I was sometimes at the end of my tether. When he was at his end we could not fault the care and attention he received. The carers were so kind, always popping in and making us welcome at any time of day and night.
The home was clean and being decorated all through. Activities were arranged and there always seemed to be a drinks trolley along with snacks being pushed around.
Dad was happy with the food and commented on the cooked breakfasts he very often had, although I cannot comment on the food myself.
I have no complaints.
5* Care Service. The Nursing Staff and Carers cannot do enough my Mom. The improvement in her condition in less than 48 hours is unbelievable.

Was concerned that my father was not getting dressed and washed until 11.00am to 11.30am as all he was getting for breakfast was porridge whereas if dressed earlier he got a full proper breakfast. In fairness when the boss was informed she was on to it straight away. No other problems. Staff treat...

Thank you for your response. Your feedback is always appreciated and enables us to make improvements to the overall experience for our residents. We currently have two Wellbeing Coordinators in post who utilise the care review process as well as working in partnership using the remembering together booklet, which gives us some insight into our resident’s hobbies & interests prior to admission.
Recent activities in the home include our weekly coffee mornings, performances from the fun time theatre, flower arranging workshops & visiting Birmingham symphony hall. Residents often visit the local pub & shops, as well as having the opportunity to join in during our arts & crafts sessions and offer one to one support.
If you have any questions regarding our wellbeing programme please feel free to ask one of the team, otherwise we are now displaying this on the television as you enter the home.
We have recently undergone a refurbishment programme which will hopefully have improved our facilities & cleanliness, however, I have scheduled this for discussion during our next staff meeting to work on further improvements.
If you would like to discuss any of the matters from your review please feel free to drop in & speak with our Manager, as we have an open door policy & value any feedback so we can continue to improve.
