My husband has been at Everdale Grange since November 2018. Throughout his time here he has been cared for and looked after with such care and kindness, albeit that at times his illness is a challenge the care is always there.
Although he cannot understand or explain where he is he seems more settled
in this caring environment which we are so grateful for. Knowing he is safe, cared for and looked after 24/7. Thank you so much.

The home has gone through a lot of turmoil in the last couple of years but saw the good side of what was on offer. I did a lot of letter writing and sitting in meetings to have my say why 'the home' should not close. I can see it is being turned around now but I must say nobody can rest on their laurels.
Hopefully the new staff with settle with good training we hopefully will be back to 2016/17.

We are more than satisfied with the quality of care given to my husband. Staff are always friendly in a clean, warm and caring home. It is lovely to see the effort they are making in getting my husband out of bed and into the day room. We know it can't be easy for them. We go home feeling relaxed and

Father was admitted to Everdale Grange at the end of November 2018. During his time with you, he was treated with care, respect and dignity. The staff looked after him with understanding and patience when he was very challenging. The facilities were very good and we noticed activities were available,
unfortunately, my father did not want to take part in many. Thank you for all your care and attention you provided to my father at a very difficult time.

During my stay at Sovereign Unit I found carers very helpful. Any time their service was required, it was with a smiling face. Their service always was full of support - very satisfactory attitude and service.

My wife has been in this home for seven months, although the building is a little 'tired' steps are obviously being taken to improve the situation. However, what is most important is the quality of care received by the residents which in my view is excellent. All grades of staff demonstrate a high degree
of commitment to the comfort, care and general well-being of the residents thus providing a relaxed and secure environment, for which I am very grateful.


The only criticism I have is that the food, generally speaking, is not very warm, although I appreciate the difficulty of transportation especially for the residents who eat on the upper floor. I am sure that this could be remedied by having a microwave installed upstairs.

I am aware this has only been open a short time. More rails in the shower need to be put in place for greater safety. Demands from some of the residents unrealistic, puts great pressure on staff, particularly on night staff. Overall they do a very good job.

When the inevitable happened and I was unable to take care of my husband anymore, I never thought anyone would take care of him as I did, how wrong I was after three months of being in this home. He is encouraged to do tasks that he would not attempt to do at home. I cannot praise the carers and all
the staff involved enough, they are hard working, conscientious and very caring. I now have the courage to have a couple of days without visiting him, having every confidence that he is being well cared for. I could not have picked a better place, clean and well run. I salute the staff for their dedication.

This review is about the Sovereign Rehab Unit which has only been opened recently. The home manager was friendly, helpful and a pleasure to meet. The staff that looked after my partner were fantastic. I am sorry that you don't allow names as they are a credit to your establishment.

My husband had been in hospital for 19 weeks before coming to Everdale. His time in hospital had been very distressing for both him and the family so we were very worried when he had to move into a care home. We visited a number of homes that could provide the level of care he needed but Everdale stood
out way above the others. Staff were so welcoming, answering every question openly and clearly. My husband took 2 weeks to settle in but now the improvement in him is amazing. We can't praise Everdale enough.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Very flexible with visit times and always find the time to discuss anything you need to know. Ideal place to bridge the gap from hospital to home. Recommended.

We visited my aunt today who is in for rehabilitation in the new block. Her room is fantastic. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and has high security. We were met with a friendly face and a smile. We were shown where she was by very helpful staff. The manager was friendly, helpful and a pleasure to meet.
My aunt is well looked after very well. Would highly recommend.

Dad has been a resident since April 2013 and a lot has changed in that time e.g. Staff have come and gone, as too sadly have residents. Dad has also changed room for logistic reasons. But, most importantly, the care and friendliness of the staff are second to none. The staff have been fantastic.
