High Peak Residential & Nursing Home

I visit the home once a week and I am impressed with the staff. The way I am treated and, more to the point, the residents are looked after is outstanding. The condition of the home is very clean and warm. The staff are a credit to the home.

I'm very glad I came and the staff are so funny.

What an amazing loving home High Peak is. My mum has settled in brilliantly. The home is clean, the rooms are bright, lots of natural light and the staff go above and beyond and cannot do enough. I am so impressed. The care is fantastic.

My dad has been a resident now for two years and is approaching his 95th birthday. From the beginning of his stay, he has been cared for well and with dignity from the management, nursing staff and the team of carers. As a visitor/family member, this means so much when it comes down to trust and confidence that your parent is experiencing. The right care and with dignity, especially so during challenging times when we are unable to visit. I would not hesitate in recommending High Peak to others.

My mother has been in the care home since 2018. The care that she has received is excellent. During the last few months, the staff and management have excelled, ensuring we have had up to date information on the wellbeing of my mother. They have gone above and beyond in ensuring that the residents have celebrated VE Day, the Queen's birthday and lots of residents' birthdays.

This care home is excellent. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The home itself is beautiful, olde-worlde and homely.

The home is an amazing place, made to feel welcome on every visit. Bring my Grandchildren, dogs (in fact everyone!!) in with me. Cannot fault any side of care, food, staff. Would highly recommend to all.

My Mum has been in the High Peak to help her recover from a broken leg. She has been made to feel welcomed, cared for. Nothing is too much trouble. All staff encourage independence. As a family, we too are made to feel very welcome. Staff do have time to chat and staff do know your loved one as an individual. Home from home.

Excellent end of life care given to my Mum. We were given time to be alone but support was there every step of the way. A huge thank you to the nursing staff who helped me through this difficult time.

My Mother in Law came to High Peak in May 2018 after numerous stays in the hospital for what we believed to be life-threatening problems. Since she has been here her health has significantly improved and in a large part, I believe this is due to care and commitment of the caring and nursing staff. They should all be congratulated on the excellence of the care they provide.

I feel we were fortunate to find such a good care home to take care of him after an unexpected sudden deterioration in his health.

If I had to have care permanently, I would like to stay here. Nothing is too much trouble and the staff do a very good job and should be paid a lot more than they do.

All staff and management have been a life saver for my sister and family. We have been surrounded by 'Guardian Angels' for the past 12 months, they nursed my sister through end of life and never gave up on her, twelve months later she is still here. I have recommended High Peak to our family doctors surgery and anybody who is considering a nursing home.

My experience with the home is a very positive one. The staff treat my wife with care and respect, they are extremely friendly and have a lot of kind words and actions.

High Peak is like a home from home and we are always made welcome. It is pet-friendly, so allows us to bring our dog to visit. Very pleased with his overall care.
