The care and support from the whole team has been excellent. They have satisfied any concerns we've had through the whole admittance and settling period for my parents. Not only this, they've dealt with many things we weren't even aware of, made both Mum and Dad feel at home and all with kindness, understanding and a smile on their faces. We couldn't be happier.
Thank you for your review; I will pass it on to the team.
This explains my experience at Winifred Dell Care Home apart from the ratings I have given I must also mention the following day we visited they had a singer entertainer. The ladies who arrange these events do an excellent job. All the carers are very good. Showed excellent care, help and consideration, brilliant. They deserve full credit and hopefully good pay.
Thank you for your review I will pass it on to the team.
The members of staff at Winifred Dell Care Home are caring, compassionate, and friendly, nothing is too much trouble at the care home which is part of a friendly care service as well as a strong focus on quality training. The management team is always there to listen to feedback from the residents' families to accommodate the needs of their residents and staff. We have the confidence to report concerns about the care that carers and other professionals give.
Thank you for your review and your kind words, I will pass the review onto the team.
From our initial contact, we had a great feeling. Mum and Dad are able to stay together and share their new home together, which is so reassuring to us. The range of activities is excellent, and my parents have enjoyed the summer activities and fairground. Everyone is so kind and caring, and we couldn't be happier - thank you.
Thank you so much for your review; I will pass it on to the team. We are so happy that your parents have settled in well.
Love this care home, so much going on. Just watched an opera singer in the garden with the residents and staff.
Thank you for your review I will pass it on to the team.
Winifred Dell is an excellent environment with a professional and caring team. So many of the team from the suite - care support, cleaners and kitchen team engage with Mum in a kind and interested way. The activities arranged by the lifestyle coordinator are thoughtful and keep Mum interested. While the transition for Mum and her children/family has been challenging, Winifred Dell have helped soften those challenges.
Thank you for your review, moving into a home can be difficult for the resident and the family. I am glad we helped with the transition. I will pass your review on to the team.
Mum has been at Winifred Dell Care Home now for four months and we can see her health and happiness have dramatically improved. She is very well cared for, she enjoys the food and entertainment and always has company, which she enjoys. The staff are always friendly, approachable and kind. We highly recommend this facility as a very professional and well-run care home.
Thank you for your review. We are so happy that your mother is doing so well. I will pass your kind words on to the team.
I visit my Dad every day and the impeccably high standards of care and attention to not only my Dad but to the other residents I see around him never changes, no matter how many times or whatever time I visit.
The familiarity, respect and affection that I see from the careers towards my Dad and vice versa is a testament to the relationship that has been built, and that has come from professionalism and trust.
Seeing the team daily I have become very fond of them and everything they do often going above and beyond especially supporting my Dad during the recent loss of my Mum.
I would recommend Winifred Dell without hesitation. It creates a family environment when your loved ones can no longer be with family.
Thank you for your kind words and review, I will pass your review onto the team.
The staff were so lovely and attentive. The whole care home was unbelievably clean and tidy and the level of care shown to residents and visitors was wholesome and warm. Would highly recommend the care home to any elderly person in need as the staff and management made it look easy and made me feel extremely welcome.
Thank you for your review and kind words, I will pass on to the team, I am so glad you feel welcomed at the home.
The decision to put my mother in 'care' was very hard. I researched many options before selecting Winifred Dell Care Home. After six months my impression is that the residents are well looked after, both physically and mentally with daily activities to engage them. The home is clean, well-run and the staff are always happy to discuss any concerns. They call me promptly if there is an incident. I have two suggestions for improvement - the buzzer alert system is invasive and unsettling. My mother found it very distressing in her first weeks, perhaps a pager system would be more targeted and discreet. Second suggestion - Assign a dedicated carer for the initial induction.
Thank you for you review I will pass it onto the team, thank you for your suggestions we will take them on board.
My late great aunt was a resident at Winifred Dell Care Home for many many years, the staff were always polite and very helpful, it was a comfort to know she was being looked after by such loving and caring people, highly recommended.
That you for your review, I will pass it onto the team, we miss her every day.
My mum is on Windsor suite. She is well cared for and happy. The carers do a great job. The activities are brilliant, varied and entertaining. Really pleased with all that Winifred Dell Care Home offer.
Thank you for your review, I will pass it on to the team.
My sister-in-law has been at Winifred Dell for over five years. I visit her as regularly as I can - usually once a week. She seems very happy there, and I find the staff very friendly and helpful. I feel that the care centre does everything it can to look after her to a high standard.
Thank you for your review and kind words I will pass them onto the team
The staff have gone above and beyond at every step and can't do enough to make sure they are settled. In their first week here, they visited the onsite hairdressers for a cut and shampoo and set for my auntie, something they couldn't manage before. The food is excellent, and the choice is good and varies daily.
Thank you for your review and the kind things that you have said. So glad they have settled in well. I will pass your feedback on to the team.
I came with my family to visit my uncle for Diwali celebrations. The staff are welcoming and helpful. For my uncle, it's a gift, and he is in a very good place. My family are very happy to see my uncle happy and well looked after.
Thank you for your review. So happy you and your family celebrated this day with your uncle. I will let the team know.
I believe that the experience was overall a great one, and I appreciate the great care given to my grandad.
Thank you for your review. I will pass your feedback on to the team.
Came to visit my uncle as it is Diwali week. My daughter did a dance performance with her teacher. While it was very emotional, it felt so peaceful. I'm glad that the residents seem to have been somewhat stimulated by the music and dance performance. Looking forward to visiting again.
Thank you for your feedback. So glad you enjoyed Diwali with your uncle.
Diwali celebrations were well organised by one lady, and it was well presented.
Thank you for your feedback, so glad your uncle is doing well.
My uncle is well looked after, and he looks content and happy.
