Our mother was admitted to Loughton Hall Care Home temporarily to assess her and find a permanent care home. We have now done this and moved her closer to us. During the time Mum was there all the staff were very kind and helpful, the manager was always accessible and had time for us, resolving any...
Our mother was admitted to Loughton Hall Care Home temporarily to assess her and find a permanent care home. We have now done this and moved her closer to us. During the time Mum was there all the staff were very kind and helpful, the manager was always accessible and had time for us, resolving any issues required. The home could probably do with a little renovation but the care was very good. Thanks to the whole team for their hard work, it is a difficult job.

Overall Experience
My mother is happy in the care home and always looks alert and well cared for when we visit. Staff are friendly and helpful, and I have been kept informed of any updates or changes when necessary. The new manager has been particularly helpful and supportive.

The staff are so caring and thoughtful, they all go one step beyond. Beautiful grounds and lovely company. Loughton Hall has much history and it’s good to know it’s being used as a great care home.

The home is bright and airy and clean. The staff have been warm and friendly. We have been so relieved to find a local home that is so good for my mother-in-law. Food is excellent, I have enjoyed lunch with resident's. Good and wholesome and Vienetta. The chef is so kind and friendly.

A resident at Loughton Hall had an 80th birthday party which my mother really enjoyed. There was a singer there who my mum said reminded her Anthony Newley.
He was very good.

What a disgusting care home, in ways you couldn’t even imagine.
I would not recommend anyone sending a relative to this care home, as I wouldn’t want them to be put through what my nan and the whole family were put through.

Good experience, Mum is very happy and enjoys the banter with staff/carers. Would like mum to be encouraged to drink more. Weekly activities/packages very good giving new experiences to residents.

I would like the staff to be more pro-active in hydrating mother i.e ensuring she drinks water and walking and movement. Mums finger and toenails should be cut more frequently.

I find the staff very helpful and friendly, they all work hard and give very good care to the residents. The home is very comfortable with a good atmosphere. The residents seem content and are obviously very well looked after. The activities for residents are stimulating, varied and good fun.

I visit my Mum approximately every two weeks. The staff at Loughton Hall are always very good, kind and professional and I feel at ease that my Mum is looked after to a very good standard. We the family are grateful. Long may it continue. Thanks.

My mum's care has been wonderful the staff are considerate and long serving. They have a live singer in every two weeks and plenty of activities.
