Open since 2011, Prestbury House residents benefit from living in a calm and homely environment with numerous fantastic communal features, including living and dining rooms, a hairdressing and nail salon, a dedicated activities and wellbeing room and a private dining room perfect for celebrating special occasions. Every resident has their own private bedroom with an en suite wetroom. Prestbury House has a secure landscaped garden for its residents to use as they wish, whether it be for a gentle stroll, some exercise or a cup of tea.

Such a warm, friendly home. Grandad is extremely happy there, and the staff, in his words, are “my second family”. We are really happy with the care he receives, and nothing is too much for them. We can’t thank them enough.

During my mum's stay in Prestbury House, every member of staff involved in her care showed such enthusiasm, professionalism and compassion. They were genuinely interested in Mum's likes, dislikes and family history, encouraging her to settle in and feel at home. Nothing we asked was too much trouble
and during difficult Covid restrictions, they enabled numerous FaceTime calls to maintain contact between Mum and family. We cannot thank the staff enough.

Coming into Prestbury House to visit my mum is like turning up at home! The staff are all very welcoming but it is the activities team under the leisure and wellness coordinator who make the experience wonderful, supportive and fun! They know my mum so well and take the time to tell me how she has been

My mum entered Prestbury House after reaching the crisis point. I was impressed by the speed, efficiency and care taken when admitting her during the pandemic. I have been lucky enough to visit her in a room and in the conservatory. This has been managed sympathetically and safely. I understand the
time pressure and all the safety concerns but will be very relieved when we can visit more than once a week and for longer than half an hour. Mum wants a game of scrabble and it takes longer than that.

Prestbury House has such a friendly atmosphere and welcoming to all. The staff treat residents with respect and care. The rooms are nice and spacious with ensuite facilities. They have weekly activities where they allow residents to socialise and enjoy the variety of entertainments provided.

I have over 30 years of experience working in hospitals across the world and worked as a Registered General Nurse and midwife in India from 1990 to 1994. I have worked in care home management for over 15 years.


Working in various roles across different organisations, primarily within a care home, has given me a deep appreciation for creating a nurturing and joyful environment for our residents. I am most inspired by the opportunity to make a meaningful difference, where each person feels valued, respected and celebrated for who they are and the journey they’ve lived. My goal is to bring warmth and happiness, to make our residents feel safe, well-cared for and uplifted. Being in a care home should feel like the beginning of a fulfilling chapter, where every resident’s wishes are honoured and their days are filled with joy, dignity and purpose.
