The food was marvellous on Christmas day and in plenty. Thank you to the manager for the lovely Christmas presents. We had a lot of Christmas activities to choose. We had a great Christmas.

Thank you all for your kind words about our service. We are a small family family-oriented and friendly run home. We strive to keep our residents safe, happy and clean at all times. We make sure they eat well and attend their appointments and engage in meaningful activities of their choice e.g. going to the local football club. Some of their entertainments include going for pub lunch, cinema, fast-food restaurant, Chinese restaurant, bowling etc. We go on caravan holidays at times. We celebrate residents' birthdays with party, a cake and a present. We respect our residents' choices and human rights. We offer them lots of freedom. Above all, we appreciate and are grateful for the support of their families and friends and always look forward to seeing them.

My sister has been at Melba Lodge for many years, and she has shown so much improvement. She laughs, communicates well, her hygiene is 100%. Melba Lodge feels like a home, and not a clinical place. She has built friendships with the other residents and never once came to me with complaints of being
ill-treated and she is not one to hold back if there was cause for concern! I am 100% happy with the care received from Melba Lodge.

The staff and management have told me how important it is to learn about coronavirus and how to take care. The staff are very kind and the food is lovely. I enjoyed going to the shop last Tuesday for shopping.
