Mum has been in Willow Gardens for 18 months now and is very settled there. The staff are all wonderful, friendly and professional. It gives us peace of mind that she is very well cared for. Food always smells delicious, and Mum has no complaints. There are plenty of activities for those who wish to join in, but if they wish not to, that is fine too. It's great to see the little dog Sunny running around too.

My dad came to Willow Gardens for respite care but became a permanent resident. He loved the team, always having a laugh and a joke at every opportunity. As a family, we could clearly see he was receiving the best care from a team who got to know him. Sadly he passed away in January. He continued to receive quality care right up to the end and for that, we are grateful. Would absolutely recommend Willow Gardens.

Moving our mother into a care home was a worrying, stressful time, especially as let down by another facility. The team at Willow Gardens, from the first contact, supported us with care and understanding at every stage, making this a positive experience. The staff are caring, and patient and very much seem to understand the needs of those with dementia and the impact on the family. Knowing our mother is in safe, caring hands in a stimulating homely environment is such a relief.

My mother has been a resident of Willow Gardens for the last five years, and their standard of care has never slipped or failed to impress me.
The staff are so caring, kind and patient. They obviously feel very happy working at Willow Gardens as the staff turnover is very low, and morale always seems high.
Numerous activities are arranged, with no pressure on residents to participate - but the activities are varied and frequent. The home is also fortunate to have access to a gym, swimming pool, hairdresser, coffee shop and bistro, so residents are still able to enjoy 'in-house' pampering and treats with family and friends.

I highly recommend Willow Gardens.

My mother's care here has been exemplary. They are all very patient and caring. My mother loves to see the manager's dog. My father has died very recently and they are all giving her the attention and love she needs. Fully recommend this home.

I came here for respite care and safety following a fall and dislocation of a hip joint. My family would be away for two weeks of my care. The care was good. Staff abilities, understanding and willingness are varied. The food generally was good. Dietary requirements are catered to fairly well. Help with personal care generally was good.

My neighbour was admitted to hospital and it became apparent that he could no longer care for himself.
On contacting the home, the manager was so kind and helpful with the process of admitting him to the care home. The manager visited him the next day and liaised with the hospital for a smooth transfer to Willow Gardens. My neighbour is now a changed person, he loves the attention, good quality food and caring staff. He has even been on a trip out.

Thank you, Willow Gardens.

My dad was a resident at Willow Gardens. He sadly passed away last December and the staff were just so incredibly kind and supportive, in addition to going overboard to provide the care he needed at the end. My mum has also been a resident since August 2021 and to be honest, it wasn’t easy to get her to accept the move into a care home. The patience, warmth and smiles of the staff have meant that she is happily settled, enjoying and participating in the various activities of which there are many. Once again, I can only say an enormous thank you to you all, and, if one day, I need a care home myself, I’d like it to be here!

My mother came to Willow Gardens for a month's respite care but is now a permanent resident as she has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's. It is a lovely care home with spacious rooms which are light and airy. There are always activities in progress when I visit and the staff are wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble for them. I highly recommend Willow Gardens.

My 94-year-old father needed two weeks of respite care after a couple of weeks in hospital. The staff at Willow Gardens were very helpful and accommodating and gave him very good care for his short stay. They took the time to listen to him and treated him with dignity and kindness.

My mum is a widow who moved in in June 2021, I found it hard initially as I felt guilty, but the staff not only care for Mum but are so supportive of us as a family as well. Mum is very happy here and is well settled but she can be difficult as well, but the staff always smile and reassure her and do a great job of settling her down.

She has a lovely room with a TV, she can choose to join in all the amazing activities provided or have some time to herself and watch TV on her own. Mum has been very poorly over New Year whilst we were away and the staff looked after her so well and kept us informed on how she was. All the staff are lovely kind and caring people I cannot thank them enough for the level of care they give. I am a registered nurse and have been so impressed by everything at the Willows since day one. Even with covid, they have done their utmost to ensure we can all see Mum. Go and see them and see for yourself it is well worth a visit.

My father was a resident at Willow Gardens for many years. As a registered nurse I am so grateful for the outstanding care and support all the staff have given him over the years. Despite the many challenges of Covid, the staff have gone above and beyond to support their residents.

Sadly my father died in December however I cannot thank the staff enough. Particularly for his last week, we were able to be with him and their superb care of him and his family will not be forgotten. It was a good ending to a life well lived and I am so happy that we found Willow Gardens for his last home and that they cared for him till the end. The staff are amazing.

My mother was sadly only in Willow Gardens for 7 and a half weeks, but during that time she received excellent care. All the staff treated her with kindness and respect and were endlessly patient. We as her family were also treated with great kindness and given lots of support, especially when we were struggling as Mum was coming to the end of her life. I would most certainly recommend Willow Gardens to anyone whose relative needs full-time care.

My Mum became a resident of Willow Gardens 3 years ago after losing my Dad and then being diagnosed with Alzheimer's.
The staff at the home are just exceptional and always go the extra mile. My mum was quite difficult to manage but they never complained and kept massive smiles on their faces even throughout the pandemic.
Sadly I lost Mum in July but the staff attended her funeral and were so kind to all the family.
I am still in touch with all the staff and they are just fantastic people.

I am so grateful to them all.

Willow Gardens is ideal for my elderly aunt. The staff are delightful to deal with, nothing is too much bother, and the quality of care offered appears second to none. They all appear to enjoy what they do and are happy doing it.
Those being cared for have a lovely blend of privacy and companionship.

Even with the restrictions still enforced by Covid, there is a marvellous atmosphere about the place.

Both mum and dad became residents of Willow Gardens when they could no longer reside in the assisted living part of the retirement village. The care and attention they received were second to none. In their last weeks of life (dad passed in March 2021 and mum passed in August 2021), we had unlimited access and were able to sit with them as long as we wanted. The carers at Willow Gardens genuinely cared for my parents as if they were their own family and through covid, they were there when we could not be. I very much admire all the staff at Willow Gardens and would like to thank them for everything that they did for both my mum and dad.
