Dad moved in mid October while I was over from Canada to help with his move. The staff were fantastic in helping him transition and getting settled in. Everything from putting up with me coming and going over the course of a week bringing his things in for his room to helping with paperwork needed as I'm from Canada and not familiar with English ways of doing things.Again fantastic help from all the staff right down to making his oatmeal and cup of tea just the way he likes it.

We've been visiting L. on a weekly basis for a couple of years. The home has a welcoming atmosphere and the staff all very professional and caring nothing was to much trouble. treating residents with dignity and respect would highly recommend this nursing home to other families lovely variety of meals and activities

I visit my friend of 58 years who is here for respite care. She is being cared for to a very high standard and the staff are extremely helpful and caring. As a visitor I have been made to feel more than welcome at any time

From the moment my nan moved into Alsley Lodge she been treated with dignity and respect. Nothing has been too much trouble and all of the staff are friendly and helpful. The activities programme is excellent with Something on daily to keep the residents entertained. I would absolutely recommend Alsley Lodge care home to anyone looking for a safe, caring, friendly home for their loved ones.

Mum has had to come to terms with major changes in her circumstances in addition to mental and physical challenges. All the staff at Alsley Lodge have been excellent - very friendly, kind, patient and professional. The environment is comfortable, safe and meets all my mum's needs. It is a great consolation to my wife and I that she is in such outstanding home.

I can honestly say and believe that my wife would not be with us today without all the care and dedication from all at Hillcroft.

My father has started to come to daycare this week after our lives have been turned upside down with the death of his wife, my mum, and to see my dad smiling and interacting with other residents reduced me to happy tears. Hillcroft if my life line as I'm going to be his main carer.

My mum who suffers from dementia has been with Hillcroft since late last year, and all's I can say about the care home is how warm & welcoming they have been, not just to mum but all our family & friends who visit. It puts our minds at rest that mum is happy and being personally looked after by such professional and caring staff. I can't thank them all enough

Choosing a care home can be an extremely difficult and emotional decision, but from the moment we walked through the door and spoke with Peter and his wonderful staff, we knew this was the right place for our mum. The home is lovely and bright, with such a warm and welcoming feel. The kindness, compassion, and genuine care shown by everyone immediately put our minds at ease. Knowing our mum is treated with dignity and respect means more to us than words can say. We are truly grateful to Peter and the entire team for everything they do.

Hillcroft is a nice place to live. Staff are great, food excellent. My life has improved a lot since moving here.

A massive thank you to Hillcroft Care Home for the care my mum received following a recent fall. Hillcroft have always supported my mum who is prone to falling and has had numerous breaks in various parts of her body. Her last fall left her with a broken pelvis which ultimately led to delirium and we were convinced she wouldn't live to see her 99th birthday next month. The carers however kept telling us she would live through this episode. With their care she pulled through and we were able to take our two weeks old great granddaughter to see her. The love the carers showed her was humbling to see and it was evident they cared for my mum as they would care for their own parents. My son said they were miracle workers!

The home itself is beautiful and always looks fresh and well decorated. It is also always clean and without odours. There is a varied and interesting activities plan. My grandad doesn't always get involved but likes to watch what is going on. I would highly recommend Alsley to anyone looking for care for their loved one.

The staff are attentive and approachable and make everyone feel very welcome.

Every time I visit my Dad I thank god we found Alsley Lodge, it really is a special place with a unique team of dedicated staff.

Mum is treated with friendship, support and dignity at all times ands thrives in having many people to speak to.

Dad recently went into hospital after a fall. There he completely shut down closing his eyes and being so unresponsive that the staff could do very little to help him and his advanced dementia..Hillcroft wanted him home with them and immediately he opened his eyes,smiled,and began eating again. That ,to our family said it all and we are so grateful.
