Friendly staff, responsive to care questions regarding my dad. I feel he is treated with dignity and respect. Staff "know" him, and recognise if he is off and potential for earlier detection of infections due to changes in his behaviour.

My father was a resident at Crofthead for 5 months and as a family we were delighted with the care he has had and grateful to all the team who cared for him. The staff are all kind and friendly and treated my father with great dignity. Moving someone into care is a huge decision and I would recommend Crofthead highly to anyone.

Mum has been in her care home since 5 June 2026, and I want to share how grateful we are for the team there. Every member of staff has been so patient, kind and genuinely caring with her. They make her smile, they take their time, and treat her with real dignity. Moving mum from being cared for by me and my sisters to needing 24 hr nursing support was one of the hardest steps we've ever had to take. We worried how she'd react, especially since she always said she had us & didn't need anyone else. But she's settled far better than we ever expected. She gets on with staff and really enjoys the activities especially the bingo & Elvis tunes. Knowing she's safe, supported, and not alone in her house anymore has lifted a huge weight from us. In many ways, it feels like the bigger adjustment has been ours, not hers. We're hoping this journey continues as positively as it's begun, and we're incredibly thankful for the care and compassion shown to Mum every day.

One suggestion would be more activities for the Poppy unit, hopefully once the (O/T) assessments have been conducted they can take advantage of these opportunities

My mum moved into Crofthead this year February I couldn't be happier with the care she receives here. I know my mum is safe and being extremely well looked after and her needs are being met; she always look fresh and happy she is also well stimulated and kept entertained. I would also like to say the staff here are amazing and provide a home from home family feel

Staff are very pleasant and caring towards the residents. Care home is kept very clean and tidy.

It is reassuring to know that my dad is safe and his physical and emotional needs are being met. Delighted with the client centered approach, staff take time to know my dad's preferences and engage him in appropriate activities. Very pleased with range of meals served and snacks during the day. I am very happy with the level of care provided to my sister. Staff go over and above to ensure her needs are met. This included a special birthday party organised by the home. Given my sister is relatively younger that other residents, it is important that this is taken into full account in planning her activity schedule. Highly recommend Crofthead Care Home.

Very pleased with staff at Crofthead Care Home - nothing is too much trouble - Mum took a while to settle but staff would always take time to make sure she was ok. Mum is well fed & cared for and most of all she is safe. Entertainment is excellent & residents are encouraged to join in - Keeps mum mentally stimulated. All in all family are glad we picked this home!

My dad has been very well looked after. All health concerns are dealt with using excellent care while maintaining dad's dignity. The facilities are superb, clean and well looked after. I have zero complaints about the staff, all professional and approachable with dad's seal of approval which is a high bar.

The team have been incredibly kind and welcoming to my mother since her admission. They have encouraged and supporting her with eating which was a main concern to us prior to her move. They treat her with amazing kindness and dignity. Staff are also happy to give updates during visits which has been of great comfort to the whole family.

It's very obvious that staff know mum well. As her needs change, they change their tactics. From the start she has felt free of worry. Staff also recognise us as mum's family. Strong management team. Clear communication with family.

My relative is very settled in the care home. Her day to day wishes are respected, and she has been able to continue her life in a similar manner to the way she lived at home. The staff are attentive, caring and professional, and my relative demonstrates a fondness for them. The wider family are always made very welcome in the home, and there has been very good 2 way communication with staff of all disciplines and levels. I have also benefited from their emotional support over the last few years.
