Good facilities, nice staff, caring & helpful

Dryclough Manor is a great care home, my grandma is well looked after here. The staff go above and beyond for her and nothings to much trouble. The home is always clean and tidy, the rooms are modern and spacious. My grandma is always complementing the chef for the delicious home cooked meals and cakes.

Amazing care at dryclough manor, all staff are very welcoming as soon as you walk through the door. The home is always clean and very homely. My friend is a resident at dryclough, every time I visit theyre always well dressed and clean. The staff go above and beyond and always around to help, very friendly. I would 100% recommend dryclough manor.

I used to struggling with my husband by myself at home and one of my friends recommend Dryclough Manor and I really loved it. Staff made me feel very welcome, my husband had very good care in this care home . He passed away in respectful way

Dryclough is a very special home. It's so welcoming and you can feel the wonderful atmosphere. The lunches look amazing and the choices. It's like being in a restaurant. My friend's room always smells lovely. She always looks clean. She says the staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. I'm extremely happy with Dryclough.

My dad has been in Dryclough since the start of the year. He gets looked after really well. He has problems with Parkinson's which makes life difficult for him. The staff are very good looking after him. They are always pleasant and attentive to his needs. I am happy that he is a resident here.

Dad moved in early May and as a family we couldn't be happier with the care he receives, all staff are amazing and cater to all needs. The home itself is bright, airy and very clean. Dad is smiling again and it's a comfort to know and see dad is being greatly cared for and respected

My grandma moved in to Dryclough manor in April for 4 week's respite to support her while recovering from pneumonia, my grandma was very weak and frail but being at Dryclough manor she gained weight and there was never a day that she wasn't smiling,My grandma has since returned home and all she talks about is how good the staff were and how welcoming they made her feel,we would definitely choose this care home again .

My Mother in law needed respite care after having a fall at home after being discharged from hospital. We looked around a few local care homes and was impressed with Dryclough. My MIL settled in fairly quickly and made a few friends which she would be sitting and chatting with on all my visits which was so nice to see, as she was starting to isolate herself. The staff are lovely, nothing is to much trouble and really supported my MIL in getting back on her feet and helping bring her confidence back. My MIL is now back at home, but already planning her next stay when we go on holiday in a few months.

We moved Grandad into Dryclough Manor after Gran passed away and he was struggling at home alone even with a care package. We knew this was the perfect place for him as soon as we viewed the home. He loves the activities and there is something going on everyday. There is so much choice at meal times and I'm certain he has gained a few well deserved lb's. We would like to thank each and every one of you for the care and compassion shown to our Grandad after the loss of his beloved wife. It's rewarding to see him happy again.

My sister moved in to Dryclough manor after struggling at home, my sister looks so healthy and has made friends,The staff are very helpful and my sister agrees to,My sister has never looked so happy and I love going to see her at a wonderful care home,There are lots of activities do join in with,Thank you to the staff for making my sister smile again your all amazing.

If I could give more than 5stars I would, The care my dad received was amazing I could not fault the staff at all, any information I needed to know i was informed straight away. Since my dad was here he gained weight and complimented the food. The activities where really good and my dad enjoyed going out to royton with tom and John (activities). I know for sure where i will put my dad if he needs rest bite again. Thank You to All the staff at dryclough manor.

My husband moved into Dryclough Manor Sept 2025. I have nothing but gratitude to all the amazing team there. He is always treated like they are looking after one of their own, with kindness, respect and dignity. I can approach all the staff and I am always greeted respectfully, and my queries are never too much trouble. My husband is very happy and well looked after and that is all that matters to me. His room is always clean and smalls fresh too. Keep up the amazing work you do.

Mum enjoyed the food and activities but the best was that she made friends and wants to keep in touch with them.

My sister moved into Dryclough Manor after a short stay in hospital for respite. The care, professionalism and knowledge has been out of this world. My sister loves all activities and we visit weekly to join in with the quiz. Nothing is ever too ,much trouble and the staff always go that little extra mile to make the residents smile. All I can say is please book a visit to go and view this lovely home.

After viewing several homes we decided on Dryclough Manor for my wife, my daughter and I settled for this lovely home. My wife is very settled and content there, she has made friends with a group of ladies who welcome us each time we visit and share stories of their day. I always find the staff friendly and approachable each time I visit. My wife's room is a good size and always smells clean. The managers have shown professionalism whenever I have approached them for advice. As my own health is failing rather quickly I would most certainly consider a room for myself in the near future.

Dad moved into Dryclough Manor from another care setting. The progress he has made in the past few weeks has been phenomenal. He is happy, eating well and back up on his feet, he was even spotted having a little dance with one of the carers. Dad's room is nice and bright, and the decor is clean and neutral, so I have been able to personalise it to suit his taste. There are plenty of food options and alternatives, Dad can be a fussy eater; however, he has never gone hungry. I will certainly consider this home for my mother in the near future.

My sister moved into Dryclough Manor in January 2024. Although we had looked around several homes, we did not feel as welcome as we did as soon as we stepped into Dryclough Manor. We were able to see first-hand the staff interacting with residents and how attentive they were. There was a music quiz in the main lounge when we visited and we could see how happy and cared for the residents looked. My sister recently celebrated a birthday and the cook made her a beautiful, personalised cake, she still talks to me about this weeks later. I feel welcome when I visit and the staff are quick to update me of any changes, the home is warm and bright and no odours. My sister is very happy and that is all that matters to me. I would give this home ten stars if I could.

My mother has settled into life at Dryclough Manor extremely well. The staff have been our guardian angels, and knowing Mum is receiving the very best care is comforting to us as a family. We see regularly how well the staff interact with service users, each other and also us visitors. We never feel like a hindrance while we are there and can ring for updates anytime we like. I chose Dryclough Manor as we felt the friendly atmosphere as soon as we walked in. We witnessed the activities and how happy everyone appeared. I would certainly recommend Dryclough Manor to anyone looking for a carehome.
