Our son has lived at Abbey House for 10 months now. He settled in incredibly quickly and soon established a great relationship with every single member of staff. I feel very comfortable knowing that he is in the safe hands of his wonderful Abbey House family. He absolutely loves the delicious food which
is carefully planned and the wide variety of personalised activities. I feel immensely lucky that our son is living in such a fantastic place with such amazing staff.

Whenever I visit Orchard lodge to see my sister I am always greeted in a friendly manner by staff members. I feel that my sister is settled and seems happy within the Orchard community. She enjoys her trips out and it gives me great peace of mind to know that both her health and social needs are being
met.The staff have taken the time to get to know my sister and I am regularly updated about her wellbeing. Overall I happy with the care she receives.

When we visited at Easter, my niece seemed to be happy and her speech and responses seemed to be much improved.
Her key worker was extremely helpful and showed a genuine affection toward my niece.

In the last month our daughter has had some health issues and I can't praise or thank enough the manager & the deputy manager who has cared for our daughter for the whole time she has lived at Seabreeze and all the caring wonderful day/night staff.
They have all given our family peace of mind that
our daughter is in good caring compassionate hands.
It is clear to see that all the staff have the guys who live at Seabreeze their best interest at heart making Seabreeze a happy, fun and safe environment to live in.

Overall I am very happy with my daughter's life at Caroline House.
I feel listened to and respected. The staff take time to try to learn from my experiences with my daughter and they share their experiences with me too.
I feel that my daughter has the opportunity of an inclusive life.
The staff
try really hard to understand her needs and provide a happy atmosphere for her to live in.

Good communication, friendly approachable staff.
However not familiar with all staff due to no update on the photo board.or any introduction to new members of staff when they are employed,
My view is the home is restricted as space is at a premium due to to many wheelchairs for the community space

The staff always welcome my sister and I to the home and even know exactly how to make my sisters coffee without her having to explain. When we visit our brother, he always looks very smart and wears presentable clothing. If ever we have a question, the staff can give us an answer and they are always
looking to make our brother's life as comfortable as possible. Recently, he has become very sleepy and the staff are in talks with his doctor to slowly reduce his meds to give him a better quality of life. We can see that the staff really do care for our brother and he regularly goes out on trips, which he really enjoys. We know he is looked after and cared for very much which is comforting as we live a fair distance away and so can only get to see him once a week. Orchard Lodge is a lovely home for our brother and we know he is happy living there.

We can't thank the staff of Brendon Lodge enough for their continuing care of our daughter, who unfortunately has been in hospital a few times this year. They arrange staff for night time for us (mum and dad) as we are not spring chickens, being 80 years and 78 years old. We cover the day time and they
provide a carer for nights in hospital as well. The care in the home did not lapse. All was catered for over Easter.

It is always a delight to visit Orchard Lodge and see my relative. The welcome is always warm and accommodating and attention to visitors is very good.
The staff are similarly attentive to the residents and evidently care about those they are responsible for. It is very reassuring for us as a family,
to know that our relation is safe, secure and being genuinely loved and cared for.
Reply from Sandra Burgess, HR Manager at Orchard LodgeThank you for your feedback, it's good to know the family are confident their relative is in safe and caring hands.

The staff and management pull together to make good things happen for each individual and for the wider group, home and community. The Makaton sign-a-long was inspirational. My son is valued. My son is supported in all aspects of his life.

The staff have worked extremely well and have developed a good understanding and bond with my brother. They have made him welcome in the short space of time he has had at Orchard Lodge as they do with me and my family during visits. After an unsettled spell, staff have worked out the cause of the problem
and now I see my brother the happiest he has been for many years. My brother is occupied either at the Lodge or on many trips out, which makes him very happy and content.

Whenever I go to visit my brother the staff on duty couldn't be nicer. They are all very professional but at the same time very friendly, nothing is too much trouble and it is like a home from home.
They will sit down with you and answer any questions you have and inform you what he has been doing
and where he has been.
A very lovely home, he seems happier than he has been for a long time.
I couldn't be happier.
