My father has been a resident at Cherry Garden since February. He has settled in and is well looked after. As a family, we particularly appreciate the caring attitude of staff, exemplified by attention to detail such as ensuring residents' birthdays are nicely celebrated, and providing a cycle of enrichment activities.

I've been so pleased with Clare Hall since mum moved in two weeks ago. I feel mum has made some improvement even in this short time. I also get a really nice feel about the staff. Very pleased I chose to move her there.

Clare Hall is a truly wonderful place with such kind and caring staff. They all looked after my mum so well and nothing was too much trouble. Its spotless and the food is excellent with so much choice. The grounds are gorgeous and look out into fields. The events were always well organised. But its the staff that make it. Friendly and helpful at such a difficult time.

This was my first experience of a care home and a very pleasant surprise. The building was well maintained and spotlessly clean throughout. The staff were always polite and very helpful, and the care for my wife was faultless. The food was of good quality and ample. Tea, coffee biscuits etc always readily to hand. A wide variety of entertainment was supplied, a bit hit & miss but was generally enjoyed by all. I would always recommend Clare Hall.

Clare Hall is a fantastic care home. The staff are attentive, caring and friendly. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The food is of a decent standard. There are lots of activities for residents to take part in, my nan enjoyed baking club. I felt that my nan was very safe in Clare Hall and I would recommend this as a place for people to stay.

In summer weather permitting the residents can eat lunch in the garden and sit out as much as possible just enjoying the sunshine.

Castle House Care Home is very much a home from home, with a very welcoming atmosphere. All the staff very kind, caring and helpful. The activities and events for the residents are excellent and everyone is encouraged to join in, including the families of the residents, this all adds to the Castle's homeliness.

The management. and staff are both kind and caring, nothing is to much trouble when asked. They are very warm, approachable, they look after the visitors as well as the clients.

I will always be grateful to the administrators, the medical staff, the support staff and the handyman - who helped her to personalise her room, set up her computers and keep in touch with her family and friends. Thank you all. You were wonderful and filled her last days with joy.

The whole team at Cherry Gardens is very professional and extremely caring. The home has such a happy friendly atmosphere. Treat the residents as individuals and met all the needs of each individual. Mum is always clean and respectable. Mums room is kept clean and tidy. All staff are very approachable and update us and reassure us whenever needed.we are always made to feel welcome when we visit. Plenty of choice at meals times and go above and beyond to make sure mum has something she likes to eat. Thank you to the whole team for caring and looking after mum so well.

Mum is so settled and receives excellent care.

My mum has been a resident of the care home since June 2025. She is really happy in there and loves the staff. They are brilliant with her and she is doing different things everyday. They have people visit like singers and have animals brought in to see them which my mum loves. The activities coordinator is excelent as are the staff.

The staff are also very friendly and accommodating. If you are looking for residential nursing care for a loved one why not visit Clare Hall,

Very nice place , good care providet lot of activities nice location of Nursing home in natura . Staf very friendly and do there job very well .Residenc are treated us family .evryvone is kind respectful to residenc and visitors .

I would just like to say thankyou to all the staff at The Alexandra Nursing Home, you are all angels in my eyes this week is 1 of the hardest weeks of my life,all my family's life,lost our beautiful mum yesterday the way it was,so dignified respect love shown i can't tell you we will never forget how my mums been taken care of honestly thankyou thankyou

A huge thanks to all round call, courtesy and service throughout the two months we visited our sadly dying friend. We couldn't fault a thing!! We have visited many homes over the last 20 years visiting family/friends and Clare Hall have been one of the best! Our friend, you client too, was happy from start to finish. If only more care homes were like Clare Hall, personalities, cleanliness, passionate and considerate, we would all feel more comfortable and accepting of what age becomes of us. Once again well done to you all.

Both my parents went into Clare Hall, for a period of respite. From the moment they arrived, they were welcomed with open arms and treated with dignity and respect. This continued throughout their stay. Us as a family too. The whole experience was first class and they have returned home full of praise for the whole team, from management to care/support staff. My mum has now been at The Alexandra for several years and we are happy with the care given to her, she seems as happy as possible and well looked after which is a great relief taken off our shoulders.

Mum has been in The Alexandra for around three years, we are very happy with the home, she is very well looked after, me and my sister cared for Mum for a long time before Mum came here, and it was very hard. The staff are wonderful and very polite.

I would not be disappointed if she returned for another visit.
