A huge thanks to all round call, courtesy and service throughout the two months we visited our sadly dying friend. We couldn't fault a thing!! We have visited many homes over the last 20 years visiting family/friends and Clare Hall have been one of the best! Our friend, you client too, was happy from
start to finish. If only more care homes were like Clare Hall, personalities, cleanliness, passionate and considerate, we would all feel more comfortable and accepting of what age becomes of us. Once again well done to you all.

Both my parents went into Clare Hall, for a period of respite. From the moment they arrived, they were welcomed with open arms and treated with dignity and respect. This continued throughout their stay. Us as a family too. The whole experience was first class and they have returned home full of praise
for the whole team, from management to care/support staff. Thank you all.

Thank you for your kind words. It was our pleasure to have Mum and Dad in our care for respite. They were wonderful people to get to know. Wishing them both and your family all the best with being home.

Mum has been in The Alexandra for around three years, we are very happy with the home, she is very well looked after, me and my sister cared for Mum for a long time before Mum came here, and it was very hard. The staff are wonderful and very polite.

My wife was with Castle House for 2 weeks respite in February /March. She was very well looked after, her room was clean and airy, the facilities good. The staff seemed very supportive and could not be faulted with the way they treated her.
We were impressed by the way she (and the other guests) were
spoken to and looked after.
I would not be disappointed if she returned for another visit.

Before writing this review I chatted to my dad - who is a resident - about the various categories and his responses where all positive. In particular he mentioned that the management has always been extremely helpful and supportive, that the staff are friendly and helpful, and that the food is very
good! In general he is very happy with the care home, and if he is happy then I am too.

I have always found that the staff at the home always go above and beyond to carry out their responsibilities from the kitchen to carers and office management nothing is to much trouble we have known each and everyone of them throughout my mother in laws stay also now with my stepfather being not the
easiest person to satisfy my heart and gratitude goes out to them.

I am the nephew of a resident who was admitted to Clare Hall Nursing Home about 2 Weeks ago. The staff were so understanding and friendly. my aunt was at end of life care and I can't thank the staff enough for their dedication. I would like to personally thank one staff member in particular who was
at the forefront of my aunt's Care to the End. My aunt passed away peacefully on Tuesday 25th at 4.15 with one staff member in particular by her side.
Thank you all again to the staff at Clare Hall

The staff members are fantastic, more like a family to both the residents and the visitors. My mother had lived in Clare Hall Nursing Home for 2 1/2 years, over which time the carers did a fantastic job at making both my mother and my mother's visitors both welcome and comfortable. Nothing is to much
trouble and there is always a welcome smile from them all.

My wife went into the home, remembered nothing, could not walk without help and very down and sad. But now all the staff get on very well with my wife and I am more than pleased with the way they all look after her and myself, yes they look after me. Drinks, meals, snacks and made so welcome. I am so

What a home! My mum had been there for about a month. The home is extremely well managed. All staff are friendly, helpful, respectful and considerate. My mum unfortunately died there. She could not have been better cared for. We were with mum for 27 hours and were given drinks reassurance and more importantly,
mum was shown the utmost dignity, respect and consideration. The nurse picked up that we were struggling with mum emotionally in her final minutes and ensured that I was able to leave if necessary and others were able to stay. From mum's arrival, we were able to visit any time of day and night, personalise her room as much as we needed and were all treated like family. Clare Hall management and staff are outstanding in all aspects. The agency worker was on duty the night mum died. He was outstanding. Thank you from all of us. What compassion and respect we were all given right to the end. Thank you along with the fab staff at Clare Hall.

Since my dad has been at Castle House his physical and mental health has improved beyond my hopes or expectations.
He is very well fed has his meds all sorted, has companionship with the staff and other residents and there always seems so much going on. He's also now well enough to go for a walk in
the town (aided by his walker) so that he can chat with locals and still peruse the local shops and market, something that has helped him to stay connected with the town and his friends. Where the home is, is vital to this.
The staff and manager are exceptional and genuinely have my dad's best interests at heart and are regularly in touch with us as his family. When we pop in (anytime) we are treated as part of the family and always have a cup of tea and a biscuit or two. I am and will forever be grateful for the care and patience shown to my dad who is in the best shape he has been for a long time. Can't recommend highly enough!

Mum has only been a resident for a month but she has already settled into the warm and friendly home environment. Nothing has been too much trouble for the care team at Castle House-
They were happy to spend time with me answering questions and elevating concerns I had about Mum's move. All mum's medical
needs are sorted daily by the team. The meals provided are great and always served with care and attention. The atmosphere is always upbeat and I am welcome to visit at any time of day. Mum has begun to join in some of the many activities that go on in the lounge room and is enjoying her days again.

Cherry Garden was not our first choice of nursing home for Mum simply because of the traveling distance from family. So when Mum was admitted to Cherry Garden in April 2024 because her bed had been given away in another nursing home, the family had some doubts. However, we think everything has turned
out for the best. I visit three times a week and am kept in the loop about Mum's health. Every effort has been made by the Manager and her team to see that Mum's needs are cared for. Mum is very well looked after, and despite her health difficulties, including vascular dementia and Alzheimer's she is not distressed. All the staff are caring and as far as I can see, provide residents with dignity. It is lovely to see Mum's face light up when a carer comes into her room. Thank you so much for giving the family peace of mind.
