My Mum who is now 95 yrs old & has dementia went into Hillcrest April 2023. She initially went in for respite care after a fall. However it soon became clear that full time care was needed & Mum decided to stay. For both of us it had been to right decision. The Staff & Management are excellent. Caring
& respectful but allow my Mum to make her own choices. She has a lovely room with a view of Frodsham which is bright & always clean. She's continually tells me how kind the staff are to her which is of great comfort to me as I know she is safe & well cared for. Hillcrest have a Sister Vicky from the GP surgery visit every week which works well in supporting any medical issues.I would recommend Hillcrest for their professional but homely approach & am impressed by the Management of home & staff. Thank you Lorraine & Julie & all the staff.

My mum has recently moved into Hillcrest, and upon entering for the first time we immediately felt very welcome. It felt very homely and the staff seemed very professional and caring.
We feel confident that mum will be taken great care of and know that we can ring anytime or email as we live quite a
distance away.

My mum went into respite for a few weeks after experiencing multiple falls and hospital visits whilst in her own home. She has really thrived during her stay and the team have been fantastic. Putting my trust in people to look after my lovely mum has been really difficult, but to see her so content
and relaxed has been such a relief.

My Grandad went into Hillcrest and decided this himself as he wanted company and more help with things. We do not live close by so couldn't visit often. We was unaware at first he went into a home but when we did find out the manager and staff was so supportive and updated us on everything. We went
over to visit and the staff was caring helpful and just overall great. Grandad seems happy and content at the home. As we are not close Hillcrest is his family and company he has been missing. With us not being close staff email me and call me with updates on grandad and I appreciate this so much. The staff don't judge and understand we cant visit that much, we wish we could but with kids, working and life being so busy and we are far away it's hard. Highly recommend this place. As long as my grandad is happy we are happy and getting all the support and help he needs. Thank you all Hillcrest staff, manager, cook, house keepers, handymen etc.

The staff were professionals during my mothers residency. Always polite, and providing health updates if anything had changed. Great care home and staff. During her decline with dementia I could have not asked for a more supportive home for her.

My mum recently passed away after around 18 months at Hillcrest. Before she passed away she had been quite ill and bed bound as well as having had dementia for around 4 years. I cannot praise the team at Hillcrest enough, the support they gave me and our family was second only to the care they gave
Mum. I guess its easy when folk have dementia to not see them as still being a person, quite the contrary from the Hillcrest team who treated mum with such respect, compassion and fondness that helped mum throughout her time with them. Its so very true that any team is only as good as its leader, the manager is immense and walks that path between being a great support and holding up the mirror with such skill.
They truly felt like part of my extended family and want to thank them all for their support, preparedness to laugh with me when the time was right and know when I needed time to cry. You are amazing xx

Mum has been a resident at Hillcrest since November. She settled in very quickly, which came as a surprise knowing mum. Which I can only put down to the professional and caring staff who made her feel welcome and safe.
The care has been excellent and any incident for example a fall, is always notified
to me by phone and what action they have taken.
I wouldn't want mum anywhere else.

My Mum has been at Hillcrest for almost two years. She has been well cared for during this time. At the end of her life she was treated with dignity and necessary professionals were brought in to be consulted regarding care.
The care home gave us free access and dealt well with this most difficult

My sister and deceased husband have been residing at Hillcrest for 3 years.
My sister's husband passed away just over a year ago, I cannot fault the care they have both received in Hillcrest and how the care of my sister still is over and above as things can be very difficult with her, she is very
happy there and everyone is very professional and very caring, I am kept informed on a regular basis and any issues discussed. I can only speak highly of Hillcrest.

My mum has been at Hillcrest for nearly 10 months now and I've found everyone to be welcoming, thoughtful and kind. The team of carers are attentive to my mum's comfort and individual needs and I feel there is genuine care for her well-being. It’s been a journey learning about my mum's condition and
the management team and carers have always been there to offer sound advice when needed. It really does make such a difference knowing my mum is safe and cared for by the team.

My mum has been at Hillcrest for 20 months now. A great weight has been lifted off my shoulders as an 'only' one. She is a much happier person now, being excellently looked after by a supportive team, comprising a manager, assistant manager, carers, caterers and cleaning staff. She recently had a blood
clot and this was discovered by one of the lovely carers and immediate action was taken. I would not hesitate to recommend Hillcrest to any of my friends looking for care for their parents.
