Lovely room, nice + close to the lounge area so mum was able to go to meet other residents.

Very happy that my father came here. The premises are very tidy and clean, the staff were wonderful and very friendly and happy to sort any issues. The food was really nice too. Generally very happy.

Just a word of thanks to all at Grace Care for a wonderful afternoon helping to celebrate Carole and my 65th wedding anniversary. With special thanks to the chef who put on a splendid buffet and Matt who organised it all.

It is clear when you enter the home that it is a caring and welcoming place with an excellent team. The activities provided are designed to reflect and appeal to individuals' interests with an ambitious programme of events both inside & outside the home. Meals are excellent and we had a delicious celebratory Christmas meal in the private dining room which was a really special occasion.

Mum has received the best care I could possible hope for. The staff were understanding of her every need and treated her with respect and dignity up till the end. Can't fault them in any way. The food was excellent as was the facilities and the entertainment was awesome. As well as my mum I was always welcomed and the staff helped me through my mums dementia and her recent bereavement. We visited my wife's Auntie, who resides at Grace Care Centre. I am really impressed with the professionalism, friendliness and level of care she receives. The centre itself, is clean, bright and airy. Our aunty loves the gardens in any weather and season!

Dealing with Dementia in someone you love is difficult and distressing. But at least I have the reassurance that my wife is in such good hands, and is being cared for so well. I am most grateful to everyone at the Grace Care Centre for this.

My ex MIL is a regular user for respite as she lives with myself and husband .She is always made very welcome and all the staff know her. She loves staying there and says it's like being in a hotel. On a personal note the staff are always very approachable, knowledgeable and extremely friendly. I would highly recommend

A reunion of 7 friends after 48 years was held at the Home comprising an afternoon tea. One of the seven is a resident at the Home. We were all well received by staff and the quality of food provided was equal to what you would expect in a top hotel.

We often visit a family member at the home and are always greeted by staff at reception .We recently attended a party in one of the communal rooms and the food , drink and the room itself was excellent

The transition for our father from hospital, to respite and then to permanent care has been professionally handled. The staff are very helpful, efficient and friendly. The food is excellent. Visiting family are made to feel very welcome. Thank you to all the staff.

Whilst visiting my mum over the past six months, we have observed the highest levels of care across the whole team at the care home. My husband (former health & social care manager) having visited dozens of care homes across Dorset, thinks this is by far the best home he has ever seen. The staff create a wonderful, welcoming, warm atmosphere with their friendly attitude. We are so grateful we chose this home for mum!

Having had no contact with the care system previously it was a great relief and comfort to me that Grace Care looked after mum in such a kind and caring manner.

Myself and family attended Grace Care Centre's summer fete as part of a visit to our loved one, it was delightful to see so many residents, families and visitors having such a wonderful time. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone made us feel very welcome and cared for. Thank you for all that you do.

We found Grace Care Centre very clean and welcoming and the food was excellent. The staff were very polite respectful and welcoming. The distribution of medicines was effective and very well organised. Our only criticism would be that when the resident we were visiting needed physical assistance to transfer to or from his wheelchair then the necessary assistance was not readily available which affected our plans on each occasion!

Grace Care Centre has a really special welcoming atmosphere, it is kind and friendly and calm. The staff are warm, engaging, helpful and professional. These qualities are inspired by outstanding leadership and are also reflected in the whole management team. The 2016 purpose-built premises are light, spacious and clean in every area, and this enhances the feeling of being embraced by this lovely home.

I am extremely happy living in St John's Home in Thornbury. I have everything I need in my room. Excellent bathroom. The staff are so kind to me. Excellent care. Everything I need and delicious meals. Activities are usually good in the week, but lacking at weekends.
