Overall Experience 4.0 out of 5
My mother has been a resident at Chesham Leys for over a year now, and I can honestly say the care and kindness she receives there have given me so much peace of mind. From the moment we first visited, we were welcomed with warmth and compassion. The staff take the time to get to know each resident
personally, which makes all the difference. The home itself is always spotless, bright and cheerful. Mum especially enjoys the activities and seeing the children from the school. Communications with families is good and I'm always kept informed. It's clear the staff truly care about the people they look after.

Really pleased with Chesham Leys care home. It suits my wife ideally & is a good medium size home with 2 small outside garden areas & a comfortable lounge area & reception area. All the staff are very helpful & management 'on view' & very approachable. The food is good wtih very adequate portions &
the only reason activities rating is satisfactory is because my wife is not good at these things & prefers from choice to come with me, either in the lounge or her room.

Fremantle Court

I am pleased to say that my parents received exemplary care during their time at Fremantle Court. Mum was carefully looked after throughout her stay and staff were always patient and kind. She gradually lost all appetite as part of her Alzheimer's but the carers were endlessly inventive, working out
what she liked and helping her eat and enjoy food for as long as possible. By the end of her life, she was not at all interested in food and staff respected her wishes whilst making sure she stayed hydrated and ate if and when she wanted to. I was always kept informed about her health and what was happening, I don't think I could have chosen a better place.
My Dad went in at the same time as Mum because of his dementia. He too received care of the highest standard. He joined in many of the activities, especially anything sporty. As his dementia progressed, he had to move to a different wing and this was handled with care.
I recommend Fremantle Court wholeheartedly.

I visited my nanny this afternoon and when we walked in everyone was very friendly and said hello. A member of staff looks after my nanny and is always very friendly and helpful. The home is very clean and tidy and everyone made an effort to say hello to my little boy who loved saying hello to all the
staff and residents. I met another member of staff who was sorting my nanny's laundry and he stoped and spoke to my nanny which was very sweet of him. The staff are very caring and I couldn't ask for better people to be looking after my Nan. Lewis House is a lovely place and I am very grateful for everything the staff do. A big thank you to you all!

My husband has been in Lent Rise for about 7 weeks now and I must say that I'm very impressed with the level of care that is provided. All staff are so helpful and caring and my husband, all thought at the stage of 'end of life care' is far more settled than when in hospital. My husband's dignity has
always been very important to the staff. The nursing staff are wonderful as are the carers, management, right through to cleaning staff, they always have a cheerful disposition and are always ready to help.
It is great that they allow animals to visit as well so I'm able to take my Labrador to see hubby. The other day, although sadly I missed it, they even had a miniature horse visit them. A true home from home.
It is always clean and tidy and very well presented. There are plenty of activities to get involved with. I have great peace of mind that he is so well cared for now that he can no longer be at home with me.

My husband, who had Alzheimer's was a resident at Fremantle Court for 19 months until his death. I felt very comfortable that he was well cared for and safe the whole time. He was not always easy to deal with but the staff coped very well and when I had a small issue it was dealt with quickly and to
my satisfaction. My only wish was that he would have had more opportunities to be outside. If I did not take him out he was inside constantly.

My wife, of 66, was a resident at Fremantle Court for the last 20 months of her life. On her last evening, she was comatose. During the night, the nurse called the doctor, who sent her to hospital. I was with her at 7:50 AM, still comatose and in no pain. She died at 8 AM. On admission to Fremantle,
my wife was entirely lacking in mobility, was totally incontinent and had mild dementia. Swallowing food was a problem. I saw her almost every day. She was extremely fortunate. She could not have been more carefully or more lovingly cared for and nursed. My family and I have lots of gratitude to everyone who works at Fremantle - the management, the cleaning & gardening staff, the maintenance, the carers, nurses, doctors - they all demonstrated a commitment to the welfare & happiness of the residents.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My mother was at Mulberry Court Care Home from August 2023 (initially for respite care) until her death in June 2025. Mum's room and ensuite was always clean, well decorated, and bright. The food was always hot and nutritious, and when my mum developed difficulty in swallowing this was catered for too.
I felt my Mum's needs were assessed daily and any deterioration in her health was picked up, acted on, and discussed with us promptly. The staff were amazing and treated Mum like their own mother. All the carers were welcoming to me and we were encouraged to join in with the organised activities e.g barbecues, and quiz nights. Mulberry Court is small enough that you knew all the carers and other staff but large enough to have good facilities and varied activities. I believe Mum was happy at Mulberry Court and the staff were always courteous and respectful to her. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mulberry Court to anyone looking for a Care Home for their elderly relatives.

I feel mum could not have been in a better place in Lent Rise House for the past couple of years. She has received the highest standard of care and has been treated with kindness and compassion at every stage of her time there. It has been important to us as a family that we have been able to consistently
with the same members of staff (at every level) throughout mum's time of residence; we feel that having families faces around has been good for mum. Mum also particularly appreciated the fact there was a cat in the house! Many thanks

Just want to say what a lovely home for residents this is. The garden is beautiful and very therapeutic. The residents are lovely and most get on with each other. They are all well cared for and I can see this in my mother-in-law's care that she is receiving. No sooner had I questioned a red eye was
it attended to. The residence all have their independence around the home in around the grounds. The carers are exceptional.
