Thank you, Monkscroft, for everything you do. I could name so many wonderful staff members, but there are simply too many to mention individually. Please know that your kindness, dedication and hard work are appreciated more than you realise. You are truly a fabulous team!

My mum has severe dementia but is so well cared for at Chestnut Court, she has been a resident for over a year and the reassurance both my sister and I have that she is in a safe and friendly environment is so important which in turn gives us peace of mind as we both live hundreds of miles away. Never once have I thought of moving her closer to me, she is part of their 'family' and although she can't always vocalise her thoughts, we can just tell she is completely comfortable within their care.

Mum has lived here for 3 years. Her dementia has deteriorated in that time but the level of care has never changed. It is exceptional. The staff are friendly and very competent, compassionate and professional to mum and myself. Gardens are beautiful and entertainment is really enjoyed by the residents and families. Mum enjoys a well cooked and balanced diet provided by the brilliant kitchen staff and plenty of treats too readily available along with fruit and drinks whenever she wants. I could not wish for a better place for my mum to live!

I can only praise the staff of Monkscroft care centre, they go above and beyond to make sure the residents are cared for. The Home is clean and nothing is to much trouble. Right from managers to cleaners always make you feel that nothing is to much trouble and make you feel that your loved one is getting the best care.

Lovely care facility with great, welcoming staff. A warm, family-focused atmosphere with lovely energy throughout. I would and have recommended this place to others. Thankyou Monkscroft.

My wife, who has complex care needs, recently enjoyed a 7 night respite care stay at Windsor St. Cheltenham. She was very well looked after and has expressed a wish to return sometime in the future. Because she is largely non-verbal and therefore unable to instruct or correct staff my challenge was to convey to the team all her care needs. I developed a written care plan which was accurately followed by the staff the only exception being help with feeding, but we will put that right next time!

Wow, what a special place! St Edwardstow Court have surpassed my expectations in everyway since Mum became a resident. Locally, its has always had a great reputation for being good, but now having a family member here I can fully appreciate just how excellent it is. We as a family have had 5* care and support from initial enquiry to Mum becoming a resident, this was all a smooth transition, any anxieties or worries I had for Mums next steps were completely relieved of me when Kerry and Matt took us under their wing. They worked seemlessly with us as a family, and also a number of differing medical staff to gauge a holistic insight in Mums complex care needs and personal preferences, in order to fully understand her as person and how they could enhance her quality of life in her new environment. Mum now feels settled where I feel she is thriving, not just surviving, and around staff that have her best interests always at heart. This care home has a community, family feel where

My mother came to Windsor Care Centre from hospital to start a 4-6 wk assessment of her needs going forward. As her daughter who had cared for her for the past 6 yrs I was anxious but the minute I walked in, I knew it was the place for Mum. Everyone was so helpful and friendly and took my anxiety away- she is very happy and settled now and we are hoping very much she can stay for the future. It is a very well and organised. Thank you.

Cannot praise the standard of care enough. Staff are all excellent, the food is great. We thought he would struggle to settle, and though there were a few challenges initially it was helped by a superbly professional team and caring team. Thanks to you all.

I feel mum was very happy and she was well looked after. She liked having her door opened so she could see everyone passing by. The compassion we were shown after her death, was exceptional.

Jubilee lodge staff took considerable effort to make my mother's 100th birthday special. When I arrived mum was sitting in the lounge with a crown on and a birthday sash on. A sing along session was in progress and everyone song happy birthday to her. The home decorated a side lounge for the family to celebrate with mum and have video calls to distant family members. After lunch mum had a rest and afterwards the staff presented mum with a specialty made birthday cake.

My mum has moved to Windsor Street from another care home. Words cannot express from day 1 how happy Mum and our whole family were with every aspect of her care at Windsor. Every, without exception, member of staff made mum feel welcome, loved and appreciated. Nothing was too much trouble. The happy atmosphere was so so appreciated. Mum felt like a family member. She often told me how "wonderful" all staff were, from receptionist, carers, handyman and medical staff. Sadly, Mum passed away in April but from our whole family - a massive THANK YOU!

Jill has recently moved in to the home. At 95 it has had a few challenges but the welcome she recieved was lovely. She has settled in well enjoying the daily activities. Everyone we have met is very supportive & upbeat and she has said several times how happy she is.

I regularly visited my uncle who was a resident here for over 3 years in both Redgrove and Springbank units. He was very happy here, the staff were very kind, friendly and helpful and I am confident that he was very well looked after. They would always call to update me on anything I needed to know and answer any questions during my visits. It's a very special place with some amazing people doing a very difficult job.

My sister was in the care home from March '26 until she passed away in the end of July. She knew she was life limited, they told her in oncology, Cheltenham. We wondered how she would process this and living in a home. But with kind and caring management and staff, where nothing was too much trouble, and every need was catered for. At home with me, she had almost stopped eating, whereas here she at everything with relish. I'm sure all of the care helped her last a bit longer. My brother thought she would get to 'World Cup' alas not but almost. Many thanks

Overall, in my opinion, the care is good, and most staff are friendly, approachable and supportive.

I have found that the quality of care is significantly improved when staff consistency is maintained. Staff who regularly care for Mum get to know her better, understand her individual needs and quirks, and are therefore able to provide more consistent and effective care.

Mum is also noticeably calmer when she is cared for by staff who understand her personality and know how to respond to her. This helps to prevent her frustration from escalating and makes a real difference to her overall wellbeing.

I could not have wished for a better place for my father to be and I am very grateful for everything they do.
