I regularly visited my uncle who was a resident here for over 3 years in both Redgrove and Springbank units. He was very happy here, the staff were very kind, friendly and helpful and I am confident that he was very well looked after. They would always call to update me on anything I needed to know and answer any questions during my visits. It's a very special place with some amazing people doing a very difficult job.

My sister was in the care home from March '26 until she passed away in the end of July. She knew she was life limited, they told her in oncology, Cheltenham. We wondered how she would process this and living in a home. But with kind and caring management and staff, where nothing was too much trouble, and every need was catered for. At home with me, she had almost stopped eating, whereas here she at everything with relish. I'm sure all of the care helped her last a bit longer. My brother thought she would get to 'World Cup' alas not but almost. Many thanks

Overall, in my opinion, the care is good, and most staff are friendly, approachable and supportive.

I have found that the quality of care is significantly improved when staff consistency is maintained. Staff who regularly care for Mum get to know her better, understand her individual needs and quirks, and are therefore able to provide more consistent and effective care.

Mum is also noticeably calmer when she is cared for by staff who understand her personality and know how to respond to her. This helps to prevent her frustration from escalating and makes a real difference to her overall wellbeing.

My Father arrived at Jubilee Lodge in April 2026, and all of my worries were quickly reassured by the wonderful Nurses and the exceptional Care Team. I was worried my father wouldn't settle but with all the help and constant support from all the Team he settled in very well. All the staff are friendly, approachable and very caring but most important is the patience they provide.

I could not have wished for a better place for my father to be and I am very grateful for everything they do.

Staff very good - but when residents all want attention at the same time not enough staff seem to be available - It's a very demanding job and the staff earn every penny they work for!

We can't thank the staff enough for the care they provide

My wife and I both attended the garden fete at Jubilee Lodge, Bourton-on-the-Water. The event was absolutely fantastic, the residents and families had a thoroughly wonderful day, everything went extremely well, with something for everyone, the singer was great, getting those able to have a dance up during the day and the activity organiser Lisa was super fun showing us all the dance moves. A really huge well done to all the staff, who helped make the day so special

The staff on Pittville suite go out of their way to ensure all residents are looked after amazingly. The events team are amazing, so creative. The new display in reception is outstanding. Monkscroft is a delightful place to visit. The management and staff always make you welcome as a visitor, my friend is very well looked after, and all the residents seem happy. There are some beautiful gardens and balconies for the residence to enjoy, we have just had a lovely afternoon at the summer fair. They do quite a few different activities for the residents and include all those that are able to take part. The dining room and all the sitting rooms are lovely. I love to visit my friend there, and find it a very happy and positive place to be

My mum moved to Millbrook Lodge from a care home that closed in Wiltshire. Even though mum was only there for approximately 5 weeks as she sadly passed away at the end of June, I couldn't have wished for a better place for mum to end her journey. Coopers view has the feeling of a small independent home. Staff are very caring and the standard of care is excellent. Any concerns are acted upon straight away. It is very clean, well organised and the food is nutritious and freshly cooked daily. Thank you to everyone you should be really proud of yourselves as it is not an easy job. Robin runs a tight ship right from front of house, behind the scenes and in the home. It was a pleasure to have met you all. Kind regards Lanie

My mum spent 13 weeks here. I got to know the staff quite well in that time. Mum was treated very well, with care and respect. There was a very good atmosphere, with some of the residents taking time together in the dining room and joining in with the singing.

My mother has been at Windsor Street for a year now, after an initial 3 week respite care stay. It was her decision to stay permanently. She was always adamant that she didn't want to go into a care home. It has given her a feeling of belonging. She goes to the entertainment and is always saying how great it is. She enjoys eating her meals with her fellow residents. She is extremely well cared for and is happy. She's had a couple of falls and is attended to straight away, whereas at home she would be on the floor for hours. Highly recommend it.

Review of Chestnut Court from Toni P (Daughter of Resident) published on 19 June 2026 Submitted via Postal Card
Overall Experience
The knowledge and experience of the staff at Maple House in Chestnut Lodge, Quedgeley is evident and very reassuring. Their willingness to support both my mother and our family at an extremely difficult time, in a very professional, friendly, caring manner has meant so much, and we feel very supported every step of the way. It's clear that they are extremely dedicated to supporting residents nursing, emotional, physical, and social wellbeing needs.
Maple House's accommodation is modern and exceptionally clean, and residents have their own spacious en-suite rooms to relax in. Although there are two lounges, I feel that the true 'heart' of Maple House is undoubtedly the Dining Area. With its lounge chairs and patio doors opening onto a spacious courtyard, it feels much like a family kitchen-a hub where residents, visitors and staff gather, that has a warm and welcoming. supportive, and happy atmosphere that we deeply appreciate.

Thank you for creating such a welcoming and supportive environment. It is wonderful to see my mother so well cared for, and we are grateful for the sense of community that Maple House provides.

The staff over the period got to know her as Nanny pat, and when the funeral directors collected Mum the staff were at the door to show their respect and love for her.
She was happy at the home and helped the staff as she was a nurse herself for 38 yrs.
