My mum is a day care resident at Windsor St in Cheltenham. The staff there have been very caring and accommodating to my personal circumstances. Through their support I'm able to support my mum in her own home, use Windsor St to support us so I can hold down my job and I know she is very well looked
after.
I appreciate the support I've received because I honestly don't know how I'd manage without it. Thankyou!!!

Chestnut Court

My aunt has been in Ash since November 2025. She went for respite due to the hospitalisation of her husband. When the time came the staff at Chestnut Court did all they could to accommodate him in Beech so he could end his life with my aunt. My uncle's needs were extremely complex and his care very
time consuming. During his last hours the nurses and carers made him comfortable, calling Rapid Response to ensure his end of life was as easy as possible. The staff showed my aunt a great deal of empathy and supported her at all times (and still are now), making sure she was offered meals, drinks, cuddles and listening ears. Michelle, the nurse who nursed my uncle at to end of life, demonstrated a very high level of dedication, working many extra hours to call the funeral director, prepare my uncle for collection, keep us, his family updated whilst supporting my aunt. Everyone is just so friendly and has made my aunt and the family, including the dog, very welcome and at home.
Reply from Steve Gardner-Collins, On behalf of the team at Chestnut CourtThank you for sharing your experience. We're so sorry for your loss and are grateful for your kind words. It's wonderful to hear how our teams at Chestnut Court and Beech supported your aunt and uncle with compassion, comfort, and dignity. We'll be sure to share your feedback with Michelle and the team, who will be touched to know how much their care meant to your family. Thank you again for recognising their dedication.

I can not speak highly enough of this care home and the facilities they provide. My Father has been a resident for 18 months and the care he has been given has been amazing.
The carers really do care and give the best attention to the residents .
The Home itself provides a constant and varied entertainment
time table.
Family and friends can visit any time and without notice and at no point have I seen anything but genuine care for the residents.
The staff and management are always on hand with advice, help and emotional support.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this Home.

I have power of attorney over a lady who at 93 had been living alone near Cheltenham . a wonderful neighbour had been more than keeping an eye on her and professional carers were coming in daily. But it was increasingly clear she couldn't manage so i started to look around for homes. the neighbour
suggested Order St Johns so i called them.. they were really helpful over the phone and clearly very experienced with these sort of circumstances. they arranged for the lady in question to be picked up and shown around
she loved it immediately and wanted to stay there and then!! they made arrangements to pick her up shortly afterwards and she couldn't have been happier. i made a surprise unannounced visit last month and she was really content there and enjoying life.
Reply from Steve Gardner-Collins, On behalf of the team at Windsor Street Care CentreThank you so much for taking the time to share this lovely review. We're really grateful to you for trusting us during what can be such a difficult and emotional transition, and we're delighted to hear how positive the experience has been for both you and the lady you support. It's wonderful to know that she felt at home so quickly and that our team were able to make the move feel reassuring and smooth from the very first phone call. Hearing that she remains content, settled, and enjoying life at Windsor Street - especially following your surprise unannounced visit - it means a great deal to us and to our dedicated staff. Thank you again for your kind words and for recommending us. It's a privilege to support residents and their families at such an important stage of life.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My family and I had not had any experience of Care Homes, until about 4 weeks ago when our mother became a resident at Jubilee Court. Needless to say, we were anxious about what to expect. However, our anxiety and fears were unfounded. Jubilee Court is warm, caring and hospitable, to both the residents
and their families. Mum settled in really quickly because she was made to feel so welcome and was constantly reassured. It is a relief to know that our mother is now both safe and secure in their care. Also I have to say the quality of the food is exceptional and the menu carefully thought out each day, to ensure nutrition and variety of choice. I was fortunate enough to join my mum for lunch on a couple of a occasions and the food certainly did not disappoint. It was delicious! So for my mum, who loves her food, each mealtime is the highlight of her day. Chef was also kind enough to accommodate some of my Mother's special request which helped make her feel more at home. Thank you Chef. And all you wonderful people at Jubilee Court.

I volunteer part time doing teas, coffee and chat with small groups of residents. I have been made very welcome by staff and I feel my efforts are valued. It is a very happy environment. They appreciate how hard it is for people to lose their independence.
On a practical level, everything is spotless,
they take this very seriously. The garden is beautifully kept and the residents really enjoy it. They work very hard to have interesting things for the residents to do. Visiting is a pleasure not a chore.
