My husband has had additional 2 weeks respite care at Patchett Lodge. This is the home of my choice as I used to work there before becoming a 'community care officer' for adult social care adults team. He is happy, settled comfortable and feels secure and I know he is safe. The staff are aware that
he likes to be self sufficiant they allow him this autonomy. He likes being able to return to his room as and when he wants to. Perfect! Thank you.

My father went into Whitefriars in Stamford for respite care with a view to becoming a permanent resident. We found the staff to be very understanding of our feelings and made Dad very welcome and relaxed on arrival. As the weeks progressed, my dad settled in well, and although he suffers from Alzheimers
Dementia, his personality became a lot more relaxed and happy. To see him smiling again is wonderful. The staff are all very friendly, and the whole place feels like we are all part of a team of taking care of Dad.

I enjoy being at Boultham as I could not cope at home. Being here I have company and people to talk to. Also I don't have any washing of clothes or cooking to do. I sometimes worry about lunch and dinner time in case it is something I do not like. However if that happens the kitchen staff normally five

I always felt that Mum was well looked after and treated with respect. Naturally Mum would rather have been at home but Beckside provided an environment that allowed her large family to visit in the knowledge that she was being cared for when we weren;t around. This allowed Dad to cope in extremely
difficult times. The carers and nursing staff were very approachable and friendly, and made Mums final days the best they could be in the circumstances. Thank you to all.

Mum has been a resident in Ermine House for over 9 years, In this time the staff have been an extended family to her. Unfortunately she has been put on end of life care and the staff have stepped up to support physically and emotionally this need without complaint, having compassion and patience throughout.

Over several years the staff have been very good dealing with my mother in law and this month have been excellent to increase the level and quality of care and support. The standard of food supplied depends on which chef has produced the meal, therefore I have not scored this aspect.

Our father spent 3 weeks at Beckside, following a 2 week spell in hospital. It quickly became apparent that his stay wouldn't be respite, as we hoped, but end of life care. Throughout his stay both he & all family members were treated with dignity & kindness. Nothing was too much trouble and all our
needs were met & supported with care.
Every member of staff made us feel that dad was in a safe & caring environment at such a difficult time for us all.

The experience of St John Trust, Foxby Court, is excellent. Staff are so caring and helpful. Residents all look very clean and happy. It's a joy to visit my dear friend. The manager, Sarah, has been fantastic, keeping us up to date with my friend's care plans. All the staff are smart in their uniforms,
and the cleaners do a great job. The food is excellent. I can honestly say it's the best care home I have ever seen, as I have worked in some over the years. 100% out of 100%.

I could not ask for my mum to be in a more caring home. The staff are friendly and kind. Only this week there was a lovely afternoon tea for mothers day. Staff always have time to listen to any of my concerns about mum. Thank you Whitefriars.

I come here on a daily basis to visit my husband and have lunch with him. The atmosphere throughout the home is comforting and welcoming. All the staff are very helpful and spend a lot of time with residents and nothing is too much trouble. They are also very reassuring towards the residents' family
and friends. They all deserve high praise and gratitude.
