My mum's care at Goodson Lodge has been excellent. From personal care to activities, everything has been top-notch. The gardens and patio areas are particularly lovely, especially with the lovely weather we've been having. Goodson Lodge is a friendly and clean environment. I would highly recommend them.

Goodson Lodge is a lovely welcoming and caring place. My mother is very happy here and enjoys all the great activities, sitting in the pretty garden and making friends. The staff are very caring and thoughtful. We know our mother will be well looked after.

My father spent time at Ridgeway after he had come out of Hospital, once in 2025 and again just recently in 2026. The care he received was fantastic. He really liked all the staff and Tyler and Alison are very easy to communicate with and very caring. He was sad to leave but has now moved into his own flat.

Inquiries are dealt with immediately. Staff are always helpful and friendly. My Mother has greatly improved physically and mentally since she moved into Coombe End Court. She loves Henry the House Cat! My wife and I don't feel we need to worry about Mum. Coombe End Court is ideal for her needs in every respect.

We were lucky to find Bemerton Lodge to care for my Brother who suffered from Alzheimers dementia. Prior to his placement at Bemeron we had placed Ron in a new "For Profit" care home that looked like a 4* hotel but provided very poor levels of care. Bemerton is run for care, not for profit and it shows in everything they do. The facilities are spacious giving residents a wide choice of where they choose to go and what they do. Care is provided to meet all levels need from early stage to residents who are permanently bed bound. The care extends to support for families and friends of residents. I would recommend Bemerton without reservation.

Everyone is very friendly and helpful and caring, mum loves the food and the activities, we are very grateful for all the help we receive for mum at a difficult time, she has a lovely room it's kept very clean and comfortable

I visit the care home around once a month with my dog and find the staff very helpful especially the staff responsible for activities, they are respectful. I see most of the residents when I visit and they are always happy to see us

My mum moved into Goodson Lodge, late 2025. The decline in her standard of living due to Alzheimer's was a very difficult time for our family. Mum had become isolated at home and was resisting help from 'outsiders'. With heavy heart our family knew mum would need more care than we were able to provide. Choosing Goodson Lodge was the best choice we could have made for her. She is well looked after by the whole team. Everyone knows her by name and speaks to her. She regularly has a good giggle with staff members. The activities schedule is brilliant. There are usually two main activities a day, mum has joined in with almost everything. Goodson Lodge has given her a new outlook on life. There's always plenty to see and do. Mum feels useful again. With the beautiful gardens, it opens the living space for her to wander around and sit with other people. It has helped me too, I am now a daughter again, working together with the Team means mum is safe and well cared for.

My husband has been at Athelstan House for 2 months and we have found the care excellent and generous in kindness and understanding. Like all care homes it is not home but it is the next best thing in the circumstances. The staff are helpful and understanding of their patients needs and also their relatives. Very highly recommended.

Medical care when it arises - Brilliant.

Always a pleasure to visit my father. Staff are always willing to listen & spend time with us. The daily activities are varied & fun, allows him to take part with assistance due to his lack of sight. All rooms are kept very clean & tidy but welcoming when we visit. Being able to join my father for meals & enjoy the fine dining as a family is a privilege.

Mum is very settled at Athelstan House. The care she receives is excellent and she has made good friends. The activities are extensive and the carers take time to get to know what Mum enjoys doing. When I visit I am always met with smiles and positivity from the staff. As I live quite a distance away I feel reassured that Mum is safe, cared for and enjoying her days. Communication from Mum's carers is good and there is always someone available to talk to if I have any worries or questions.

My mum moved into Goodson Lodge from a different care home and the change in her has been amazing. She is so happy and all the staff make sure she is well looked after and cared for, she now joins in with activities and even goes to the dining room. The staff also makes sure that I am ok. And there is always someone you can talk to or just make a cuppa. It is reassuring that when we leave her she is in a safe, happy & cared environment which helps us as a family. So grateful for everyone at Goodson Lodge your all fabulous.

My dad has stayed at Goodson Lodge for 3 respite stays now and we are currently organising the forth.

Everyone at the home is so friendly and helpful and I know my Dad is very well looked after when he is there.

The rooms, communal areas and gardens are all lovely and well maintained and there are plenty of activities for Dad to take part in if he wants to.

Dad really enjoys his time at Goodson Lodge and looks forward to his time there.

Any queries are quickly dealt with and the team have been great at managing Dad's fussy eating, ensuring there is always something he likes available - it really is very reassuring to know he is so well looked after.

Mum has been at Marden Court since December 2024. In all that time the staff have never failed to amaze with their dedication.

My opinion about Coombe End Court is very positive, it is always welcoming by all the staff, nothing seems too much trouble, the food is of good standard, no restrictions on visiting hrs. Cleanliness is really good. Activities are such an asset to the home, residents, Kaspers is brilliant, I do think residents need more conversation even it its of no sense. Residence shouldn't go in others rooms.
