Mum has been a resident at Willowcroft for over four years and has been very well looked after during the time she has been there. I am more than happy with the standard of care she is receiving.
The staff are always friendly and helpful and always treat her with compassion, dignity and respect. Knowing
mum as I do, this cannot be easy at times and she can sometines be a bit difficult.
I am always consulted and kept up to date with any changes in medication, and any changes in the condition of her health.
I would like to thank you all for the care you have given to mum and all the other residents.

The staff at the care home are always friendly and helpful. They always keep the family informed of any medical interventions that my mother is having or checking for consent in a timely fashion.
There are regular activities available for the resident to engage in if they choose to.
I appreciate what
they do for my mother in a way that I can't, and the fact that they remain positive, while doing, what can be, a difficult job. Would definitely recommend.
Reply from Steve Gardner-Collins, On behalf of the team at Bemerton LodgeThank you so much for your kind words and recommendation. Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Since our mother became a resident at Bemerton Lodge almost a year ago, I have been deeply impressed by the quality of care provided, and i feel that our family was very lucky to find a place available for her here. Everything is very well and ethically organised, and all of the staff are very friendly
and helpful, and go out of their way to accommodate the particular needs and comforts of each resident. I enormously appreciate the effort and imagination put into providing residents with frequent, appealing and stimulating activities to keep life interesting and enjoyable, such as supervised group garden work, outings to a farm with a chance to feed goats (!), themed parties with food and costumes from different parts of the world, talks and films on places and topics that offer something new and interesting to learn. Our mother, a retired musician, is facilitated to play music, which helps to honour and retain who she is. She is very happy living here and socialises well.
Reply from Steve Gardner-Collins, On behalf of the team at Bemerton LodgeThank you for your wonderful review of Bemerton Lodge. We are delighted to hear how happy your mother has been during her time with us and that your family feels reassured by the quality of care she receives. Your kind comments about our friendly, dedicated staff and the way they support each resident as an individual mean a great deal to us. We are especially pleased that your mother enjoys the varied activities and experiences available, from gardening and outings to themed events and educational talks. It is lovely to hear that she is encouraged to continue playing music, helping her maintain such an important part of her identity and wellbeing. Creating a stimulating, supportive and enjoyable environment for residents is at the heart of what we do, so your feedback is greatly appreciated. Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience and your kind words with us.

Mum has been in Watersmead since November 2023. She settled in very well with the other residents. She always gets involved in the daily activities which she enjoys. The care for the residents is good nothing to much trouble. When there is a health issue it is always dealt with quickly and efficiently.
The care staff do an excellent job. Anyone looking for a care home to move into. Watersmead would be a good choice. The home has 50 rooms so is not to big which enables staff to look after the residents efficiently. Rooms are always kept clean and tidy on a daily basis which is good for the residents. Mum enjoys her time here she also enjoys the daily menu which offers a good verity of food on a daily basis. All in all we have no complaints as to the way mum is looked after. Keep doing what you do excellent service.

My sister and I both feel our mother has been extremely lucky to have been given a place in this care home; it was the first choice offered by the Council, but even if her resources could have covered a greater range of options, we feel she could hardly have found a living environment better suited
to her needs. The staff are unfailingly friendly and cheerful, the rooms and facilities are colourful, clean and well-cared for, and the encouragement of social interaction and activities is embedded in their philosophy and the design of the building, along with its beautiful mature garden, where they facilitated a wonderful birthday party for our mother last year. She is clearly very happy there, enjoys the food and company, and has a wonderful relationship with the caring staff.
We are both very grateful to both Bemerton Lodge and the Council who have enabled her placement there.

I have raised issues from time to time but happily and importantly these have been resolved. The manager listened and is keen to see visitors are happy as well as the residents. Overall happy with this care home.

I believe activities are happening but I am not usually there. Mum is restricted in what

she can do with dementia and partial sighted.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My brother entered Marden Court for one month respite last September. He enjoyed it so much 2 days after returning home he made the decision to make his permanent residence and has never regretted the decision. Being a retired farmer he particularly enjoys the fortnightly trips to Jamie's Farm and being
able to help with the garden at Marden Court. He finds the staff excellent and if he is having a bad day with his Parkinson's, he knows they are on hand to get him the help he needs.
Reply from Steve Gardner-Collins, On behalf of the team at Marden CourtThank you so much for sharing your brother's experience with us, it's wonderful to read. We're delighted that what began as a short respite stay turned into such a positive long-term decision for him. It's especially lovely to hear how much he enjoys the trips to Jamie's Farm and being involved in the garden-those meaningful activities can make such a difference in feeling at home and staying connected to lifelong interests.
Your kind words about our team will mean a great deal to them. Supporting residents through both good days and more challenging ones is at the heart of what we do, so it's reassuring to know your brother feels supported, particularly with managing his Parkinson's. I cannot speak highly enough of the care my mum received at Coombe End Court in the last three months of her life. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and treated her with real dignity and warmth, supporting our whole family through a very difficult time.
In her final days, their care was exceptional.
They kept her comfortable and were always there when we needed reassurance. It meant so much knowing she was in such caring hands.
They also arranged a beautiful funeral tea, which many attendees commented on.
I know Care homes don't always have the best reputation, but Coombe End Court truly stands apart. I am deeply grateful to all the staff for the compassion and support they showed my mum and our family
Thank you!

My mum always maintained that she would never go into a care home, but as her health deteriorated, she became extremely frail and vulnerable. After a long hospital stay, she moved into Willowcroft, and despite my anxiety about how she would settle in and mum's initial reluctance, she's adapted really
well. In my view, the staff were key. They are so warm, welcoming and kind. They always greet you with a smile, and nothing is too much trouble. They take great care to support mum in just the right way to meet her specific needs. I'm very happy mum is receiving such excellent care.
