I've enjoyed it here, I'm going to stay to the End. Basically do what I want to do and in the week there is something to do and even Carolyn sometimes puts something on, on a Sunday. I love being taken into Thame town but it only happens 3 or 4 times a year, I would like to do it more often. I find the food is very, very good. I can buy anything else extra that I want. I get on well with everyone

My mother has had several respite stays at Wellford Gardens and loves it there. The staff are excellent and extremely caring. She loves the activities and spending time with her friends.

This week we needed help at very short notice due to plumbing issues and the management and staff couldn't have been more helpful in catering for her needs.

Mum has been resident in Spencer Court for just over four months. The care she receives is wonderful; given by such a kind, cheerful, professional, respectful team. Mum looks so much better than she has in years, thanks to the care she receives. I do too! Knowing Mum is safe, happy and well cared for gives me total peace of mind. I cannot find fault with anything at Spencer Court. A huge thank you to the entire team, for looking after my beautiful mum and for making me feel so welcome too.

Care is genuine and staff display heartfelt care. The culture at the home is one of genuine care. Unrelenting patience towards the entry/ visits of loved ones carers display genuine care towards Mum (voluntary strokes of her hair + genuine smiles + attention)

My room is quite comfortable and the staff, you never know quite who you are getting. Quite a lot are Indian. Some are nicer than others. The food is usually quite good. I'd quite like to go home sometimes to see what's happening at home as my daughter is living there now. I like having visitors, but they are often busy working. I like having my own pictures on the wall. Caroline the carer is fun.

I arrived at begining of April and was very pleasantly surprised and when I met the staff I was even more impressed by the staff. The staff are really amazing. I came from another home so I have a comparison. The managers do a good job. The only problem is if I go to my daughters for dinner (she lives round the corner) I can't get back in. It takes too long to get in. Thats my only problem.

We had arranged to have a birthday lunch for my sister who is a resident at Wellford Gardens.

The food was of an exceptionally high standard. The staff were all so kind and attentive and made it a very special occasion with decorations, gifts and a cake. Thank you to all concerned.

Whenever we visit Mum, she is washed and dressed and usually comfortably seated in either the lounge or the dining room. At 99 she no longer participates in community activities, but she is content and happy to sit and watch. Isis staff always greet and welcome us, sometimes with comments about something Mum has said or done.

From our introductory meeting, to Mum moving in, my wife and I have been so impressed with the care she is receiving. The rooms are super, light and airy. Excellent, nutritional meals. We feel completely confident in the care which, in turn, is so helpful to us both, we can relax in the knowledge that Mum is safe and nurtured. * Mum does not take part

Overall Experience
Mum has been at Old Station House for over 2 years and is very happy and content there.
While she no longer is really able or willing to participate in many of the activities, the home provides a variety of things for residents to do which is lovely.
The staff all seem lovely and very friendly despite no doubt being very stretched.

At times the home can seem a bit run down and in need of investment but ultimately Mum is happy.
