Ee get regular Church services which I like

Mum has been at Chirk Court approx 9 months - during which time she has transformed. She is still frail, but overall brighter, content and memory + cognition appears improved. I stay in the guest room for 2 nights each visit which enables me to see day to day (not just a snapshot). I see wonderful care levels, regularity, flexibility to try to accommodate individual needs + 'quirks', and very importantly a very happy + 'homely' environment for the residents. I feel there is very little to improve upon, we are very happy mum is here + under great care

Excellent care, caring staff very good.

Dad has been in Chirk Court for 5 years and we have always found the level of care and service to be of a very high standard. He is very settled and happy with his surroundings and loves the variety of entertainment. It feels like one big happy family when we visit and couldn't wish for better care for him.

We chose Chirk Court, as we knew previously how good it is, because my auntie spent some time there recently, until she sadly passed and all the family had commented on how impressed they were and wouldn't hesitate to use it, should a relative require care.

It has given my wife peace of mind that her mother is so well looked after. The staff are very welcoming to all of our family, there is always a cup of tea and home made cake a real home from home. All residents look very well cared for.

I feel part of the family already

Excellent friendly care with attentive staff. There is always plenty going on to keep the residents occupied and interested. We were impressed with the cleanliness of all areas. The security and access controls are unobtrusive and give a sense care for all requirements.

I feel completely happy leaving Mum in their care. Mum loved the food and within a few hours feels at home. I love this place - just perfect x

Nothing is too much trouble, very happy.

Everyone at Chirk were kind, caring and responsive. My in-law felt safe and cared for. Staff went out of their way to help her settle. Communication with family was open, honest and regular.

Mam had declined considerably since being admitted to hospital in December 2025. As we were considering care homes we were very impressed with our visit to Chirk Court. They moved swiftly to assess her and we were overjoyed when she was admitted in March. Since then she has had excellent, considerate care and staff have always been caring and attentive. It has been a great comfort to know that mam's final period of her life has been under the care of Chirk Court. Thank you so much for everything.

My Mum resides in the dementia unit at Chirk Court.

Mum and I took a long time to find the right home for her, visiting a great number in the process. From the first visit Chirk Court stood out for its cleanliness, lay out and quality of staff, offering defined areas within the home for dementia patients with specialised care for their condition.

Nine months into Mum's stay and I would not hesitate to recommend Chirk Court to anyone with a loved one suffering from dementia. It is by far the best I have encountered in terms of staff, setting, cleanliness and atmosphere.

Excellent communication from the very top downwards and the care of both my parents always appears the most important factor to every staff member at chirk court . It has made a very anxious stressful time for my family easier knowing that my parents welfare is of such importance to them .

Mum and Dad moved into Chirk Court recently after a disappointing experience in a residential care home elsewhere. We had been recommended Chirk Court and from our first contact I found all the staff to be warm, welcoming and extremely helpful. We looked around the care home 3 times before we committed to moving mum and dad and each time there was someone available to show us around and answer all our questions. The care home manager and deputy were brilliant and prompt at getting back to us with queries, she kept us updated on progress of the rooms readiness and other support services including district nurse support etc. on day of arrival we were met with a very warm welcome from all staff and their rooms were lovely. My mum committed on how very homely it was and the difference Chirk Court and their previous place was like night and day. Since arriving nothing has been too much trouble and we received an update on how mum dad have settled in. I would highly recommend Chirk Court

My 97-year-old grandma has been living in the Chirk court since 2016. Throughout her time there, she has received outstanding care. The staff are kind, compassionate, and always treat her with dignity and respect. They go above and beyond to ensure she is comfortable, safe, and well cared for. As a family, we are incredibly grateful for the dedication and professionalism of everyone at the home. There is always something engaging for residents to take part in, and the staff encourage everyone to join in at their own pace. The activities are well organised, enjoyable, and help keep residents active, social, and smiling. It is wonderful to see how much thought and care goes into making each day enjoyable for them.

My mother has been a resident since June 2016 and is very happy living here at Chirk Court. The care and support given from all members staff to mum, other resident's and myself is excellent. The rooms and living area on the household are very clean, well decorated, light and airy. Multiple choice of tasty meals on the menu. A wide variety of activities every week. Staff always keeping me updated with mums care. Their always a warm welcome from all members of staff.
