Adams House

Unfortunately, my elderly mother’s deteriorating dementia resulted in her having to enter full time care in June 2023. Not only did this present serious decisions of conscience, but also significant amounts of anxiety, stress and dare I say, fear.
However, having met the staff at Adam’s House Care
Home, our numerous concerns were pretty much instantly addressed.
In summary, the care my Mum received during her 4 months was of the highest order. She - and we - were treated with respect, empathy and compassion at every turn.
Ultimately my Mum passed during October 2023, but for that 4 months of residence at Adam’s House she was in the best possible hands. As such, it’s only appropriate I recognise this remarkable experience and highlight the professionalism and support provided by the entire team. Thanks to everyone involved in making this happen - I know my late Mum would’ve said exactly the same if not for her debilitating illness. Keep up the good work.

My gran recently passed away after living in Williamwood house for 2 years. Making the decision about my gran moving into care was very difficult, however, due to her severe dementia, this was the safest option. As a senior nurse within the NHS, I am very aware of staffing issues, time constraints and
workload. Williamwood staff showed great empathy to not only my gran but all the family. I will recommend this care home to anyone who is struggling to care for a loved one with dementia. The staff showed person-centred care and treated my gran with dignity and respect at all times. My family and I, cannot thank them enough. Williamwood house are amazing and treat their residents with compassion, understand dementia and provide excellent care.

Mum is always clean, well dressed, well groomed and happy here. The staff all seem to genuinely care for her, and she appears to have a good relationship with them. The care home is clean, well decorated and furnished. We have been able to bring in new furniture to personalise Mum's room to the standards
that she would normally have lived in. In general, her personal belongings are looked after, and the staff communicate quickly if any problems arise.
