Live 2 1/2 hours away, so not able to visit often. At each visit staff and manager have had time to discuss and update father's condition and care.
Although dementia is obviously progressing, father appears well, healthy and content. He is allowed to walk around freely within a secure area. The area
is varied through different rooms and corridors, and is often supported in the garden to enjoy gardening, one of his favourite pastimes. Food always looks good, and Dad eats well, he always looks clean and presentable and shaved. We are always offered drinks and made welcome.

I wasn't happy, my aunt was moved several times, the last one all her underwear was missing and they tried to give her someone else's. I supplied hydration drops, when she left she had three FULL boxes, which is unacceptable. Once funding was tried to be implemented I was categorically told pay the
shortfall or move, this is after self funding for several years. Lost/ missing items. Language barrier is an issue. There is a new manager in the home now. This is the fifth since 2022. If I hadn't have asked for her tv upon leaving I wouldn't have got it. Things need to improve. My review is based on past management history not the new one. It's not good value for money when there are better ones with their own minibus in close proximity.

I'm very happy that my mum is being cared for by the manager and the wonderful staff at the Rugby Care Centre. They offer specialist and compassionate care, the support my mum receives with her everyday living and recreational needs is excellent. I feel very confident that my mums best interests are
being met by lovely caring staff. I highly recommend this kind and homely centre. I am very grateful to everyone working at The Rugby Care Centre.

My Mum has been in Rugby care centre for nearly 2 years. We are very pleased with the service that my mother receives in the centre. The staff are second to none and provide individual care for her. They attend to her every need and show her love and affection.
We feel very lucky to have got her a
place at Rugby Care Centre and would hate for her to leave.

The staff are excellent, caring, thoughtful, very happy to assist residents and relatives.
The rooms are adequate but really very small and not sufficiently roomy for relatives to visit. Visiting in the sitting room can be noisy at times because of the TV so conversations can be tricky.
I'm hopeful
that the garden will be used more this year when warm weather allows.

My mother moved into Stoneyford care home in July 2024. Mum has been really well cared for. The staff are very caring towards all of the residents. They are amazing people who do a fantastic job. The home is kept very clean and tidy. The whole team work very hard. They always communicate well with me
in terms of anything to do with mum. Security is good at the home, meaning that mum is kept safe. The building is well maintained and is looking good. Overall we are very happy with the service provided and the level of care.

My mother has resided at Stoneyford for the past 3 months and the managers and their team have been nothing but amazing in their support and care for my mum
I can feel comfortable and assured that my mum is in the best hands and they're seeing to all her needs.
My mum was initially concerned about
staying in a care home/residential home but after a few weeks my mum adores the place, and its staff from the catering, and cleaners through to the carers and entertainers she's having fun.
Cannot thank the team enough!

My father moved into Stoneyford Care Home in July 2024. The whole team, from management to cleaning staff are exceptional in every way. The level of care and kindness that my father receives is more than we could ever hope for and it gives us a great sense of peace that he's safe and so well cared for.
The accommodation is excellent, clean, tidy and well-maintained. The food is superb, with plenty of variety and choice, even for the fussiest of eaters. The staff are angels and couldn't give better care. We're delighted and so thankful to have found somewhere so lovely for Dad. A huge thanks to a particular staff member and the whole team. You're doing an incredible job.

Mum has settled in here really well, my family and I are really pleased. She enjoys spending time in the living room and joining in with the activities, listening to the music and especially bingo, which she has always loved.
The staff are approachable and are all friendly and professional, nothing
is too much trouble, they have ordered extra equipment for Mum to make things easier for her which we really appreciate. Mum is very well cared for, in fact, she looks really well. We enjoy going to see her and spending time with her when we visit.

A well-managed facility, staff are well motivated and take time to go the extra mile to make a difference. The staff know the people in their care as individuals all with different needs and motivators. The home has a very relaxing atmosphere, with a good space outside for the summer days.
On occasions
throughout Mum's stay, I have had meals with her and enjoyed the food.

When I saw the house, it looked like the Hammer House of Horror. It is dark and gloomy. My husband's room had only a flimsy 5 tog cover on the bed with the stuffing in it sparse and patchy through age and years of use. The whole place, including the back garden, has exposed pipes (I suspect sewer pipes
by the smell). The paved pathways are so uneven and are a trip hazard.
Most of the residents were asleep in their wheelchairs or asleep at the table, with faces in their food. Staff were so overworked they had no time to chat to residents.

My father has been a resident at Rugby Care Centre for almost 18 months now and we are more than satisfied with the care he is provided.
Dad suffers from dementia, but it is clear when we visit that he is extremely well looked after, and content, in his surrounding. The staff and management are excellent
and provide an excellent level of care and attentiveness. It was Dad's 80th Birthday last week and the staff provided food and balloons when his friend visited to celebrate with him, which was brilliant and really appreciated.

My mum moved into Ashcroft 7 weeks ago. From the outset, from the manager visiting Mum in her former care home to assess her, to the present, staff have been caring and supportive to Mum, my sister-in-law and me. They have quickly gained knowledge of Mum's background, family history and interests. The
'what about me' document is a useful tool. I feel 100% satisfied with Mum being looked after at Ashcroft and feel able to visit when I want. I would 100% recommend Ashcroft to others.
