Loveday was the best experience we could have hoped for our elderly father needing Dementia Nursing care. He was there a year and a half and we were always so grateful for the exceptional care he received. The care staff were the absolute kindest, most patient and loving. The whole place is stunning. So clean, well kept. And we always enjoyed dining there with our father. You couldn't ask for better for your parent

Stayed at Loveday for 6 weeks after a foot operation; my foot physio told me about Loveday. Highly recommend Loveday and the team there (Alistair and Camilla). The careers, the kitchen staff. They made my visitors very welcome. I felt very supported during my stay at Loveday.

I have just completed a stay in the 1150 club, part of the loveday group. The Belgravia facility provides different areas of care, I was here post surgery, however I have spent time with other full time residents as we all move through the common areas. It has opened my eyes to how hard working and caring the staff are here with all the members. It is such an amazing place to stay or live with high end facilities, gorgeous food and incredibly lovely staff who really take the time to find out everyone's individual needs and to provide everything you could possibly want. I would strongly recommend everyone does visit for themselves, I have felt so supported that I have been home and returned for a second stay in order not to be recovering at home alone. My friend visited and wanted to check in for a weekend break, it is an exceptional place to recuperate.

Our mother spent 3 weeks in Loveday Abbey Road for respite care following a hospital visit and the wonderful team there looked after her with amazing care & attention. They were all incredibly professional, caring and kind. Finding and transferring our mother into their care was, absolutely, the best decision we made as a family. They were also incredibly kind and supportive to her husband my father & us as her family, who wanted to spend as much time with her as possible during her recovery. We would totally & absolutely recommend Loveday.

Following a surgical procedure I spent 2 weeks at Loveday Abbey Road - The care I received was out-standing, The carers were, without exception, highly professional, responsive, knowledgeable and kind. I felt extremely well cared for & looked after. The food was delicious, nutritious, thoughtfully planned meals, beautifully presented. Entertainment activities were well-planned, enjoyable & well received. The physio sessions were also highly useful. These 2 weeks have enabled me to feel confident about returning home in a strong + more capable position

Loveday was the perfect stepping stone between hospital and home and I will not hesitate to recommend it to any friends or contacts looking for a respite home. As well as the caring and dedicated staff, I loved the ambience, flowers, fittings, fabrics, not to mention the genuinely delicious food! It was all first class and felt like a luxury holiday, especially with the attractive terrace during the heatwave!

I am always welcomed on arrival, nothing is too much trouble.

My Mum received first class care and support from all of the incredible team at Loveday during a 5 week post surgery respite stay. From start to finish the whole experience was flawless. The environment, atmosphere and staff are what made the stay special and was made to feel part of the family. Mum did not want to leave by the end of her stay! I cannot recommend Loveday Abbey road enough and there are very few if any that offer this level of high standards. They are very much in a league of their own!

The entertainment is abysmal, the care is non-existent & the so called carers need reminding about everything, they're not busy they just don't give a damn. All I can say is come here as respite for a couple of weeks but go elsewhere for long term care.

My friend spent 2 weeks in Loveday Abbey Road for respite care following a hospital visit. From the 'get-'go' it was clear that she would enjoy her stay. Her needs were attended to in a professional and compassionate manner. All of the staff made her feel right at home and settled immediately. My friend loved the food especially the daily afternoon tea. During her stay she even got her hair cut in the salon. This is well run and luxurious care home and she looked forward to future stays it required.

My father who suffered from Alzheimer's and other issues was resident for about a year at Loveday Abbey Road. My mother and I are hugely grateful for the fantastic care he received. The outstanding feature of Loveday Abbey Road is the people who work there. Everyone was extremely welcoming and very caring. My father was very well looked after with a kindness and human touch often missing elsewhere. The management, the nurses, the carers and indeed all other support staff make a real effort to get to know the residents, and their families, and to make what is a difficult time as good as it can be. They are interested in the individual and their needs, and look to make visiting family members welcome. The carers and nurses are well trained, pay attention to detail, proactive, dedicated, patient and focused. Their professional approach, obvious skill and real humanity was a great comfort. In short fabulous modern facilities with an exception team.

The holidays my friend has there are always successful. The food is delicious and the garden very beautiful. The home is bright and cheerful and very clean. The general atmosphere is very happy and positive. We are very grateful for all of it. It helps my friend remain independent in a dignified way. She enjoys trips out to places of her choice. It helps her have a rest and myself also. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. The manager is very friendly and helpful and all the staff should feel very proud.

My husband, who has Alzheimer's disease has been a resident at Loveday Abbey Road for over 2 years now and I am absolutely delighted with the quality of the care he receives and the beautiful environment he lives in. I actually feel very lucky I found this care home for him. It is on a small scale and it feels more like a private home, which is very nicely decorated and well appointed with all kinds of modern features. Most importantly the quality of the care my husband receives at Loveday is of a very high standard. Carers and nurses are very well trained in understanding Dementia and caring for the residents with the disease. The staff is very caring, they show a lot of respect, attention and even affection to my husband. In every aspect Loveday is creating an experience as close to the resident's own home experience as possible. That is very valuable. When I go home I have full confidence that my husband is very well looked after. I can be at peace. That's the best part of it all

My wife entered Loveday at a time when it had become apparent that she had only a short time remaining. Her care needs were such that her welfare and dignity depended on the professionalism and kindness of her carers, and we gave much anxious thought to where she would be best looked after. We opted for Loveday as we had received several recommendations praising the care offered. From our first contact, through the assessment process, the admission and my wife's stay there, my wife and our family were treated with an exceptional level of kindness, understanding and compassion. The infrastructure and facilities are more like a 5* hotel than a care home and are far ahead of any other care home that I have seen (and I have seen many over the years), but it was not these that stood out for us. Rather, it was the professionalism and empathy of the staff and the level of care that they provided ,which were truly outstanding. We could not have hoped for better. Thank you Team Loveday !

A wonderful discovery to find this type of post operative care existed in the UK. The initial welcome was very friendly and professional. The facilities are akin to a 5 star hotel, and the care and support have been exceptional. The medical recording was thorough and in the room facilities are very good. The catering was of a very high standard. There was also a good selection of social activities.
