I find Preston Private Nursing Home PR2 9SX perfect in every way. My room, TV, toilet, bed and furniture so very good and up to date. I was warm, well looked after by all the staff with nothing too much trouble for them. So clean and service second to none. The food was delicious, so tasty and varied
and came just when you really wanted it. The staff were excellent, so smiley and pleasant and always here to help. Loved my stay. Thank you.

Always a warm welcome, all staff are very friendly and helpful always very clean, when one of my mum's friends came to see her she was made very welcome, and was invited to have lunch with her. She said the food was excellent well done to the chef. The entertainment girls are also amazing as are the
staff on Ladywell.

I have visited the home a lot in the last month. The rooms are lovely, spacious and clean. The food is excellent. My mother has enjoyed the activities, dominoes, bingo. The staff are attentive and caring and management always there to help and discuss the needs of Mother, to ensure she feels at home
and happy.

Our mother was at the care home during the month of August. She received top class care during this period. All staff, from the management down to every level , were extremely helpful, caring , courteous and friendly. The room was comfortable and kept well in order and clean. Dining facilities and
meals were absolutely fine. A special thanks to the team leader in the D'urton area who kept everything going like clockwork.

It would be difficult to imagine a more carrying group off staff. They have all been wonderful.
The home itself is well maintained and clean. The support team are great too - particularly the home handyman.
I would recommend this home to anyone.

Your attention to care was exemplary. The care you gave mum was as though you were her family. The unit/home was always clean and we were greeted with smiles. Staff were professional, and gave mum her dignity.

What excellent treatment my friend was given whilst living at PPNH. The staff were excellent, I've never seen my friend look so happy as she did until she passed away. The staff were great with me and I can't praise them enough. So thank you to all for everything and looking after my friend.

The care and compassion of the staff here at Preston Private- particularly the manager, deputy leads the staff was impeccable and they showed true passion with the care given to mum, even after her passing. What a beautifully clean, inviting home my sister spent her last few months. You as a staff team (everyone) spent time chatting with her, laughing and giving her the dignity without question. She always spoke about your lovely food and how nothing was too much trouble. A heartfelt thank you.

My mum is being looked after well staff are lovely and friendly and my mum seems happy. Food is always good. My mum has had her nails done and taken part in some activities.

It would be hard to find a better care home. The staff are amazing, caring, compassionate and friendly. There is always time for a chat even when extremely busy. My dad has been looked after so well and time was taken when he just wanted to have someone to hold his hand. Even now at the end of dads
life they have been so kind to me.

My mum arrived at Preston Private care home in January 2025 following time in hospital. The staff made Mum very welcome and family too. Physically they got more mobile from being bedridden to a wheelchair and taking part in activities and stimulated during the day enabling full sleep at night. Sadly
she passed away on 26th February 2025 but during her time in the home she was cared for lovingly and the team were great support to family.
Recently completed feedback on Preston Private care home the team on Ferny ward were brilliant in their care and support for Mum and family. Mum faded away through the frailty in old age so never really ate anything which is why I can't comment on food or VFM. They managed to get Mum a little more mobile and up in the day room. Really felt Mum was in a lovely cuddle during her time there.

My mum stayed at Preston Private in respite following a stroke. I cannot praise the team there enough for the exceptional care that she received during her stay. From the senior team, to the fabulous cooks, meticulous cleaners and amazing carers- they all work so hard to make sure the residents get
the best care. It was peace of mind to know that mum was safe and very well cared for whilst she started her recovery. A huge thank you to everyone there!
