My father was a long term resident at Lindridge and a dementia patient. Over the years, while there have been changes in management emphasis and several different care/refurbishment initiatives, the professionalism and skill of the carers, clinical staff and all the house-keeping teams has always shone
though. All of the contracted staff have been interested in and sensitive to my Dad's well-being and care needs, his deteriorating cognitive and physical condition and his personal likes and dislikes. He formed strong bonds with many, both during the day and at night.
As a family we have been always welcomed, looked-after, accommodated, supported and guided by all the staff. They have been consistently positive, attentive and considerate, going above and beyond to help us to celebrate special days together and to give us privacy when needed too.

Thank you for your kind words and for recognizing how as a team we have navigated the changes at Lindridge while putting the residents first. Your Dad is so missed by us all and not many days go by without him being mentioned or a memory shared.

My brother had very complex needs that required frequent monitoring by staff, and they have risen to the challenge magnificently. I could not have wished for better care for him. Whatever the crisis, for example pain or wound management or concerns about his health, the nurses and carers responded immediately
and ensure that he was safe. It felt as if the staff treated him as you would a family member and despite all his physical difficulties, my brother looked happy, relaxed, well looked after, and loved.

The atmosphere at Lindridge is calm, homely and welcoming. The food amazing and the management team are visible and approachable. As family we were always treated with kindness, respect and sympathy at a very difficult and stressful time and were made to feel part of their family. It really is a wonderful place. Thank you.

I have nothing but praise for all of the staff at Lindridge Care Home. My youngest brother is currently receiving end-of-life care here. From the management, nurses, doctor and domestic staff. All have gone above and beyond not only looking after my brother but myself and the many family members to
make sure we are ok as well at this very difficult and stressful time. All very hands on, nothing too much for any of them. Big thank you to all at Lindridge.

I am writing this review on behalf of my beloved wife who sadly passed away on the 17th of July 2024 from Parkinson's Disease. Throughout her time at Lindridge Nursing Home, the care provided by all the staff was exceptionally caring and compassionate, especially towards the end of her life. The staff
patiently endeavoured to feed her by hand ensuring she was always clean and tidy despite being bedbound.
Although she was isolated from most activities organised in the nursing home due to her immobility, the staff made every effort to involve her in some way which brought her much comfort. The nursing home was always clean and welcoming and there were no restrictions on making visits, allowing us to spend precious time with her.
The regular meetings held for residents and relatives were incredibly helpful, keeping us in close contact with the management and ensuring we were always informed about her care. I am deeply grateful for the kindness and dedication of the Lindridge Nursing Home staff during her stay.

Was very happy at Lindridge Care Home and met some lovely people both staff and residents. Felt very poorly when I first came. My heart was not strong enough to operate and was on palliative care, which only gave me 6 months to live. With the help of staff I have improved, just walking in my room with
aids and a wheelchair at other times has preserved my energy. Feel as though Lindridge has helped me live longer. Had no pressure. My meals were great, with choices every day. The lady who did the activities was so kind and caring and made us all laugh and feel happy. The garden was lovely and the family took me for walks in my wheelchair or the staff took us out if the weather was nice and had drinks and snacks. I had a great time and will miss being there but feel well enough at the moment to be home. Thanks for all the care I had at Lindridge.

From my very first contact with the home, the whole experience was positive. Every member of staff was warm and welcoming and my aunt was happy to be there and was made very comfortable. We did not realise that her end was so near and I was extremely grateful that all her needs could be catered for
and that she did not need to be moved for end-of-life care. Thank you for all you did for her.

I experienced a lack of empathy towards the residents and their families in general. When my mum went into Lindridge she was terminally ill with months left, she died a week and a half after entering the home from an unrelated illness. On one occasion in desperate pain, she called a friend at 4am to
come help, who drove to the home to try to help her get pain relief. Only on assurances from management did we not immediately remove her. On her final day, a carer went into her room around 7am saw she was unresponsive, and she was left to 'sleep'. Unfortunately, she was laying on her back and had pneumonia and was severely dehydrated. When the family arrived the paramedics were called and she passed later that day as she was no longer strong enough to recover. We've had no contact from the home from this point, not even to send their condolences.

Following a long stay in hospital my dad was taken to Lindridge for his palliative care. Upon the initial visit, we were reassured by management and staff that this would be a super community for my Dad to move into and we felt positive he would receive the best care.
All the staff gave Dad such compassion
and they had a laugh with him, even the chef asked my dad if his food was ok. All the staff were patient and chatty to me and my step mum, they always had time to let us know info ref his health and well-being. Sadly, my dad was only a resident for two and a half weeks, he passed away. The night nurse called me and told me we needed to get to the home and met us with compassion and respect and told me my father had passed, he answered all my questions openly and with respect.
The day staff had arrived and asked to say goodbye to Dad, which I thought was so respectful. We were not rushed or felt in the way, the management spoke to us and helped make some initial arrangements.
Such a wonderful place.

All of the staff at Lindridge have been amazing from the beginning. My mum moved there in December 2023 and she was made to feel at home right away. We were all welcomed, even from the first show round, nothing was ever too much trouble and the staff went out of their way every time. The food was fantastic
made by chefs and the chef would regularly come and see the residents to ask how the food was and any improvements he could make for them. I often went and sat with Mum for lunch it was such a lovely atmosphere in the dining room.
The care home is extremely well run. All staff members right from management, care staff, nurses, chefs, maintenance and housekeeping are all so friendly and caring, I really loved visiting.
My mum sadly passed away on 22.03.24 but again everything was handled with dignity. They supported me with my grief, guided me with funeral arrangements and even held the wake there which was really lovely. I'm truly grateful for all the support and kindness shown.

An appointment was made to visit Lindridge on 7.11.23 and by the 9.11.23 Mum was moved from the hospital to Lindridge. The relief was overwhelming. Staff, from the outset, were attentive not only with Mum but with the family. Staff were always available to give updates by phone. We were made to feel
so welcome by allowing us to use the facilities to make a cuppa. Mum was deteriorating but the kindness of the staff was much appreciated. Unfortunately Mum passed away on 27.11.2023, the staff were so kind and respectful on that day and we didn't feel pressured to leave Mum. We are so grateful for all the support, kindness and respect shown to us.

From my initial conversation with the manager I felt at ease, her warm, kind approach instantly made me feel reassured, entering the home and meeting the deputy business manager to hear her quote how ‘this is the resident's home’ confirmed Lindridge was going to be more than fit for my grandad. Staff
are friendly, approachable, we’ve been lucky enough to meet a good selection of them, he responded so well particularly to two members of staff who seemed to take a shine to him like many of the others, another member of staff who we saw regularly. The time and effort that goes into Lindridge is amazing, Grandad's final days we cannot fault a single person, they not only made sure Grandad was comfortable but us as a family, so accommodating, ensuring we were all ok even making sure we had somewhere to sit and eat. If you’re looking for somewhere for your loved one to feel at home, safe, included and part of a family then Lindridge is the place for them. There wouldn’t be enough thanks and gratitude to you all.

My father was bedbound and very scared of losing his freedom when he was moved from his home to hospital to Lindridge. They were great in helping him settle in and then making sure he was always invited to events or involved in some way - they had many types of things for the residents to be involved
with, the place is always clean and tidy and my father enjoyed the company of the carers and being so close to our family home, visiting was easily accessible. They even gave us a fob as he couldn't answer the door himself.
They laid him in state beautifully for the family when he passed.

My husband benefitted from being cared for at the home and improved during his stay there mentally and physically. Of course, some of the staff had more patience than others but mostly he had full respect from everyone in spite of his age 90. The stay at Linridge definitely helped him improve. The physio
team were outstanding with him and gave him back his confidence which he has lost. Thank you so much. Since returning home he continues to progress with carers 4 times a day.

I find the staff at Lindridge are very polite and helpful in helping me to wash and dress each day and took my cleanliness very seriously, for example, washing my hair and drying it with having a shower - this was very helpful. Food was very good, and the staff would serve food with a warm drink in
our room if necessary; this was very helpful, especially at breakfast time as often a sleepless night one can feel very tired, so it helped me wake myself up a bit and then wash and dress. I hope this tells you how pleased I was with the care I received.

There really are no words for this incredible place. Through their genuine love and care, I’ve got my brother back after him spending three years in another care home where he was just a ‘stroke patient’. He is now living life again, has so many friends and gets involved in so much. Everyone at Lindridge

I had a stroke 9th November 2020 I was anxious at what the journey would entail and the commitment on my part to enable the best recovery possible before discharge. As I had broken my shoulder and I now walked with a quad stick following my stroke affecting my left side I was well and truly stuffed
but had the gusto and drive to improve. A full physio team headed up by one staff member were empowering, starting off with small goals to reach each day and so on which gave me a sense of achievement and accomplishment in building up strength and muscle in my rehab journey and the confidence I gained and my family at being discharged and returning home.
