I came from Canada to visit my sister & she was admitted while I was here. She has been treated with dignity & respect by every member of staff. The family have had every question answered by friendly informative staff. They have made this very difficult time easier with their kindness. I will return to Canada knowing my sister is in a wonderful care home. My sister is lucky to have become a part of the Cochrane family at this difficult time in her life. God Bless you all.

I am very happy with the care my relative is getting. I have a disability and the care and help I receive when visiting is exelent. The home is super clean, there is never any oder coreders alway sopless and tolets very clean too. The activities are morvlis at keeping residents as motavted as possable and getting them out when possible.

Having resided her for 3 weeks I have found overall my needs have been met. Very impressed with the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff, especially the nursing staff.

The staff are excellent, always helpful & friendly & can't do enough for my mum. My mum is very content with all staff & Cochrane Care Home do so many activities throughout the day with all residents. Our family couldn't be happier as to where my mum is being cared for.

The staff are very nice and very helpful and very good with my cousin. Have no complaints about the care she gets. Room always clean/toilet as well. So I am happy with care home.

When mum needed a care home, the family viewed several in the area, but as soon as I stepped foot in Ranfurly Care Home, I knew it was the one. Mum has been in their care for a year now and has settled well. Mum and staff have a great relationship, and it's lovely to see their interactions with each other. I cannot fault any part of my mums care, the meals, housekeeping, caring and nursing staff. They are all exceptional and have built up a really close relationship with the family. Mum joins in the activities provided by Sharon and Nicola, from days out, exercise, arts and crafts, quizzes, sing along and especially the bingo. Activity staff are always looking for new ways to include all residents of all abilities. Ranfurly offers family, friends and residents the opportunity to hear all about the ongoing upgrades and planned work being done and to make suggestions of improvements or changes. I know my mum is safe and well looked after at Ranfurly, and I can rest at ease knowing they have my back.

My husband has been in a few care homes but this was one of the best. The first thing I noticed was the friendliness of all the staff I met. They were all so helpful nothing was too much trouble. My husband settled in so easily saying he felt at home and it was a great place he was in. The next day I visited him, he looked really rested and had breakfast in bed. Nothing was rushed he felt very comfortable with staff who he said were lovely. A positive experience.

We are pleased with the level of care. Mum is happy and loves the organised activities. Staff are vigilant and caring, it's lovely that they all address mum by her name, even when we visit other units. The home is always spotlessly clean and mum enjoys walking out in the well maintained gardens.

My dad has been Muirshiel unit for over 2 years now and I have been consistently delighted with the care he has received. His needs have changed considerably since he moved in and the staff have been excellent in identifying changes, adapting his care and keeping me updated and involved in all decisions. Keep up the good work!

My experience of visiting my friend is positive. Staff are caring and friendly. They pay attention to my friend's needs and listen to her concerns. My friend seems very settled and content. Overall a very good review.

Fantastic care home!

They have just painted her room and have it very homely and to my cousin's taste. The staff always keep me updated with all my cousin's needs and concerns. Overall I am very happy with the care my cousin receives.

I was visiting for my friend's 90th birthday. The home provided a delicious buffet for us in a private room decorated with balloons and banners. An entertainer sang later for all residents. Staff were fantastic as always. My friend loves the home. He is exceptionally well cared for in a spotlessly clean, fresh environment. The residents of Cochrane Care Home are extremely lucky to live in such a caring place.

The friendly staff and spotlessly clean areas in every area of the home make it such a welcoming place to visit especially when it can be challenging to visit relatives who are very poorly or unwell or just elderly. I actually look forward to my visits to my dad now was there is always such a happy friendly face to greet you and have a chat with.

The staff at Ranfurly Care Home are excellent. The nurses and carers go out of their way to make sure my mums needs are always met. The activities girls are first class, they not only keep my mum happy and exercised on a daily basis but are great for my well being also. Some days it's a struggle to go in but there's always someone available to talk to. Thank you all for everything you do for us.

The home is immaculate with lovely gardens where I can sit with my mum on a nice day.

My mum had very complex needs. We were kept up to date and always made to feel welcome when popping in for a visit. Staff were amazing and they made such a fuss of mum on her birthday. Her room was always clean and tidy. We are particularly grateful to the nurse in charge of mum's care for her kindness, understanding, compassion and regular updates. The staff worked very hard and we can't thank them enough.
