Mum tells us she is well cared for and has everything she needs, loves her room and the large window overlooking the garden where all the games and events happen. Mum does not need to join in but loves to watch.

Home is spotlessly clean, staff can't do enough for residents, kind, happy & patient. Dining room nice and spacious and airey good food also.

I cannot thank you enough for the way you care for my wife, she couldn't be in a better place. The care and understanding you give to all of us - as a resident or family is fabulous - I am grateful for your kindness, care and can only say thank you.

I'm very pleased with how my Dad is being looked after at The Orwell. The staff are caring, helpful and respectful to the residents. The staff are also engaging and friendly to everyone and there are activities for the residents to help them engage with the care staff and the other residents. I feel confident that my Dad is being well looked after and I have no hesitation in recommending this residential care home.

My husband has settled in well to this home. The family has been very pleased with the friendliness and accessibility of the staff. We have also appreciated their caring attitude.

Very pleased with how mum has settled in she has only there about 3wks. Staff are very friendly and understanding of mums needs. Room is pleasant & light well appointed, mum has been able to have several of her possessions which helps make things more familiar. Mum enjoys talking to staff and likes her room

I cannot praise The Orwell enough!

Made to feel very welcome from first visit - and throughout Mum's stay. Manager and staff extremely friendly and helpful - nice sense of humour and very gentle and patient with Mum. Mum loves the food, the carers, her long hot baths! She settled in really well and has already made new friends.

My mother in law has been living at Orwell Care Home for a couple of months now. Tania and the team are amazing. They cannot do enough to help and take care of their residents. We have not met one staff member that doesn't have a smile on their face. It's always clean and tidy and the food is good too. My father is in care home in Felixstowe which is also amazing and equally as good. Due to this we have experience as a family of other homes and have used other care homes in Felixstowe for respite along with seeing round another. Both Orwell Care Home and my father's are both far superior in the way they are run and the day to day care provided. We feel extremely grateful that we found Orwell Care Home. Huge thanks also to Devon, Tina, Precious, Orla, Thomas, Esther, Bianca. Keep up the very good work

This wonderful home has made it very comfortable for my mother in law to settle into a care home setting . The staff are all so friendly and nothing is too much trouble . The giggles we have are contagious with residents and staff alike . Her room is spacious and has everything she needs . Would recommend this home highly.

I cannot express how strongly I feel about the true staff dedication I have witnessed on numerous occasions during my visits. My friend always said staff were kind, friendly, helpful & professional. The home was always clean never smelt and all staff interacted with residents in a way like they would treat their own parents & grandparents. There was regular music to stimulate residents & total 24 hour a day accessibility to visitors. I would highly recommend Orwell & be happy to be a resident if my needs met the requirements.

It's always a pleasure to visit the care home, the staff without exception are always brilliant not only with the residents but with the visitors as well, and we feel that our mother is well looked after and content with life, which we as a family hoped it would turn out to us.

There is an easy-going atmosphere which I wasn't sure about at first, but after nine months I am now very glad of it. Everyone is put at ease. The staff are so patient and helpful. Very caring to their residents. Food is good and residents are helped if they cannot manage themselves. Activities have improved greatly and I am happy that my spouse is as content as can be in the circumstances.

my daughters mother in law moved in a week ago and her name is joan .she so happy there and the care home is beautiful and have the most dedicated manager and staff.They all work so hard and give the care and love to each and every one of their residents.Always got a lovely smile on there faces .(manager and staff).Nothing is too much trouble if you want and need anything its always sorted.It is 100% loyalty .highly recommended for people who need care .kind reguards Linny x

Tanya, Lee & all the staff are highly dedicated to wonderful care and attitude and respect of the elderly. I'm so pleased that she got into the Orwell Care Home.

Our mum was taking to Orwell Care Home in February for a rest, she was there for a month and I can't praise the staff enough, so kind, friendly, and they couldn't do enough for us. Mum was well looked after by everyone there, and as this was the first time we had every used a care home we were very impressed a big thank you to all the staff.

My mum moved into the Orwell a month ago. From our first contact with the home , the manager and staff couldn't have done more. They made us all feel welcome .mum settled really well. The staff are all kind , respectful and knowledgeable. It's obvious they enjoy their roles . Definitely go the extra mile.It has a lovely atmosphere and there is always something happening for the residents if they choose to socialise. Mum is really happy. The home appears to be really well organised .
